The physician assistant that took care of me was very sweet and kind. Every single person I was in contact with at this place made me feel comfortable. The facility is clean, their restrooms were well stocked. After my appt, they gave me a lil goody bag and also a children's book for my kids (how sweet is that?? ) the physician also takes time to sit with you and explain each page of paperwork you will be leaving with. They have an advocate person come and talk with you to see if you need resources of any kind and to offer help. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone going through pregnancy.

See Acts 16:6-12. After, many prayers and support. The Mother and Unborn Care Center finally opened! I received a personal invitation and was able to tour the facility. Le me brief you on some things. This facility looks like a home but it has atmosphere of a Dr's office. Mother and Unborn Care is designed to teach a woman to value the human life. Their goal is to show the woman unconditional love so that she will keep her baby! The volunteers are there to support, encourage and counsel women. There's Counseling rooms, a sonogram room and they also have a Chapel! It is two stories high with a huge attic. As you can see it's built on a firm foundation. It has a good layout, there's lots of structure and it's definitely needed in the community. Also, there's a demand for supplies and volunteers. They need Spanish speakers as well. My husband recently started a new job (right when we found out we were about 8 weeks pregnant) so we've been in that frustrating insurance limbo period and will be until August. The out of pocket costs were horrendous, and a friend pointed us this way. The staff...ohhhhh the staff--from my first call with Georgia at 6:30 on Tuesday (they're open til 8 on Monday and Tuesday!) setting my appt for 2 pm on Wednesday, to my meeting with Kathy the nurse, Kat (a counselor I believe) and Sally (the RN that did the ultrasound) I was impressed beyond words. The women were so helpful, knowledgeable and loving--it was a fantastic experience. Sally was amazing, talked us through the entire procedure and was excellent explaining what we saw...and what we saw, there are absolutely zero words to even begin to describe...being able to see your big ("wow--that's a big baby!"-Sally's first words when our daughter first appeared on screen), HEALTHY, incredibly active baby is the single most amazing experience in the world (and I've seen and experienced a lot!)...I was so lucky to share the experience with my husband and mother, and Sally was just absolutely amazing!! I will be back to check in with them even after we start w the obgyn we'll use for delivery, as these women were certainly angels sent from God.

The moment you step into Thrive, you are welcomed by a friendly front desk person and allowed to speak, rather than be spoken to, and returned with an authentic helping hand.
