We came here tonight planning to fly tomorrow mid morning and not have to be involved with work traffic on the RER - B train or other travelers needing to be at CDG early. The lobby is nice and the parking is plentiful, so this is a good spot if you have a layover or a long trip the next day (which we did). The rooms are spacious and were well cleaned. The main negative was the bathroom had some issues, the drain in the shower didn't work well and there was some failures in the molding around it so it had some staining. So this might not be the perfect spot for a clean freak. Because it was COVID time when we went there, we didn't want to switch rooms, but just beware to inspect your rooms before you go there and maybe switch if you have issues like this.

The restaurant and bar are slightly higher priced compared to the room rates, but the food is good and drinks are well made. If you're a Hyatt member (free to join at the time of your reservation) you get slightly better rates and decidedly better accomodations. The shuttle has limited hours and they will comp a taxi for members, so it's totally worth joining. The rooms are nicely appointed but decidedly aging. Expect some paint peel, bathroom stains, etc... But there is no doubt it's a comfortable room. We requested a family suite. It was two rooms side by side and was perfect for our three young children and two parents. We requested a cot and received a pack n play style bed for our youngest (2) -- which was perfect because it was extra long and suited us just fine. Our older two (4 and 7 years) occupied the second room which was connected by a set of non-lockable doors and had a second bathroom. There is literally ZERO airplane noise in the room. The restaurant has a decent menu, great indoor and outdoor seating options, and a full bar. It's a tad expensive but does suit all possible needs. The bar is open for reasonable hours and seemed flexible depending on the need. The breakfast was delicious and full of all sorts of delicious options to meet the international needs of the guests, and had coffee service that was very good. Be sure to opt for the breakfast during your reservation! It saves a good bit of money. Overall, I will definitely continue to use this hotel for our Paris airport needs. We stayed in 2019 with two children and again in 2022 with three and both times felt that it was an exceptional value and provided the Hyatt service we expected. We will be back!

Please note: this is not a full MaisOui Le Frenchy detailed review. I did not come to the Sheraton Paris Charles de Gaulle to be charmed. I came because my flight departs at an hour that would offend any self-respecting Frenchman, and the alternative -- a taxi through the périphérique at 4h30 -- is a form of suffering I reserve for my enemies. What I found, I will reluctantly admit, was adequate. More than adequate, which is its own kind of surprise. The room is generous. A proper bed -- not the narrow apology for a mattress one finds in lesser airport hotels -- a desk large enough to actually work at, and the rare luxury of both a shower and a bath. At first glance, the room presented itself as clean. I did not look closely. That inspection, I reserve for another occasion. I am a critic, not an auditor. The bar and restaurant are present and respectable. The staff at the front desk were courteous without being theatrical about it. The bellman was helpful without requiring direction. This is rarer than it should be. But the true distinction of this hotel -- and I say this as someone who finds airport hotels philosophically depressing -- is that it sits inside the terminal. You do not leave the hotel and face the indignity of shuttles, signage, or the open sky at an hour when no sky should be witnessed. You leave the hotel and you are, simply, already there. For an early departure, this is not a convenience. It is a mercy. Five stars -- for what it is. An airport hotel that does its job with unexpected dignity. The staff were friendly and the room was nice. What's more is that it was quiet (I was amazed!) and we actually got a good night's sleep before our flight home. We didn't try any of the restaurants, but if we needed a meal, food is available in the hotel restaurant .
