We hired DJ Michael for our wedding (~110 guests at a pretty large venue that fits 400 people) and we are SO HAPPY we did that. He met with us a few times beforehand over Zoom so we could exchange ideas and information, and we were able to add all the songs we wanted and basically plan the entire evening out on the app Vibo, which was super helpful and easy to navigate. Not only did DJ Michael provide us with great music and DJing, he also acted a bit like a coordinator the entire night, making sure we kept things on schedule and making sure everyone knew where they needed to be for speeches and whatnot. He gave us a lot of freedom to do what we wanted and also gave us a lot of good recommendations/possible activities when we didn't necessarily know what we wanted. A lot of weddings I've been to had DJs that apparently did not play a lot of the songs that the bride/groom requested, but DJ Michael was not like that at all. He made sure to play our requested songs and asked us if it was alright to play any songs requested by our guests. He helped make the entire night run smoothly during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and I can't thank him enough for doing so. We were honestly so much less stressed knowing he was handling a lot of it, and he was very easy to trust. He's been DJing weddings for a very long time so I trusted his judgement on when you do certain things during the reception (like speeches and the bouquet toss) as he was very good at reading the room. TLDR: Aliki, Kostas, and the entire Kitchenina crew were incredible to work with. They were communicative, efficient, and alleviated so much stress before and during the day, and most importantly, the food was amazing!!! We started working with Aliki and Kostas almost a year before our wedding. We didn't love any of the vendors on our venue's preferred list so we went looking for better and found Kitchenina. Our first experience with them was a tasting that was basically a 5 course meal. We got to try multiple appetizers, side dishes, entrees, and a salad. Needless to say, it was delicious. I keep asking Kostas if he will bottle the sauce he used for the salmon so I can buy it. On the day of our wedding their team was amazing. They transformed an empty museum exhibit hall into our reception dinner in less than 2 hours, setting up 19 tables, 2 buffets, 2 bars, and a sweetheart table. All 190 guests had been served and finished eating in less than an hour. We never had to worry about a single thing on the day, if anything came up, we never noticed and they didn't tell us haha. The food was so good we were excited to eat the leftovers for the next week! We also were purchasing our own alcohol for the reception and Aliki let us ask her bar manager tons of questions so we could make sure we had enough variety and quantity in our alcohol and mixers. We were recommended to John and Premier 6 Events by our wedding venue (Blackhawk Museum) and we couldn't be happier with having John be our DJ/MC. Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone our Blackhawk wedding till 2021, but we still had a micro-wedding and John was more than willing to help and travel out for it. John was very responsive with clear communication and made us feel at ease with our wedding song selections/flow & audio/video setup. He also helped setup a Zoom streaming session for us and had a large monitor so that the in-person guests could see those guests on Zoom. Mike is a true professional who went above and beyond to make our wedding day extraordinary. He walked us through the timeline of events prior to the wedding and asked us which events we wanted to incorporate along with which music and announcements. He was a great communicator and worked very well with our mc to make sure everything ran smooth and all the musical cues were on point. Mike and Joe helped setup our uplighting and all the speakers for the event, and everything looked/sounded amazing. I can't say enough great things about Premier 6! We used their DJ and Photo booth services for our wedding last month and they did an amazing job. Our guests had a blast at the photo booth which was totally customizable with prints and access to an online gallery of the photos. Gosh. Where do I begin? Michael Dominguez is an ANGEL. I was the co-chair for a large fundraising event last night. We had a bit of a "problem" with two of our guests, and despite the incredible challenge of the situation, Michael stepped in and helped me handle it as seamlessly as possible.
