ALL my furniture was Covered in MOLD! In the drawers, all over the wood, my wall unit from Germany was destroyed!! My bedroom set, ever single piece of furniture was covered in mold. Several of my boxes also was thrown out from mold being in them and I am hyper sensitive of mold due to COPD! My son rented a 30x10 unit for me and paid for it every month only to have them raise the rent by over $30 without any notice after 6 months, then to loose almost everything in it! Such a total loss of money and ALL my household items! Also, this place is very non responsive and will not return phone calls if you reach out to them. There is no one in the office most of the time either. So, DO NOT use this place if you value your items!

After over a month being ignored I was told by the owner (Rob) that it's denied stating in a voicemail it was a fraudulent claim. He stated the item was never there and the locks were never removed. I provided photos showing the slide was cut away from locks leaving locks in place. Even provided photos of items in question taken by their manager just 2 weeks before inside the unit. Stay away from them. I haven't even accessed the unit in over three months. They lied about sending surveillance camera video to the sheriffs office. Told me the claim process takes 10-14 days. Then told me it takes 8-10 weeks before ultimately denying. They could not provide insurance company info nor a claim number. Who's the fraud? I have documentation discrediting and contradicting everything he stated. And even after that was told he's the owner and it's his decision. If anyone wants to hear his accusation on my voicemail I'll be uploading to YouTube along with the photos of damage and items that were taken.

The staff was great! Very hospitable and accommodating. The property was very clean, and tidy. Loved having cement pads to park on and grass Along with a fenced dog park to walk our dog. It was quiet and peaceful which is just what we wanted. Free kayak, paddle board and canoes to enjoy and pontoon boat rental on site. The property is set up with three tiers with angled parking for optimal views of the water. It seemed a little tight for maneuvering but thankfully we are only 25' long so we didn't have too much trouble. I probably would have given 5 stars except the WiFi was horrible at best. At least it was for us. There is a new Publix grocery store approximately 2 miles up the road, which I give 5 stars.

If you're looking for a pool this is not your place. If you're looking for a billiards room, this is not your place. If you're looking for stocked fishing lake, this is not your place. But if you're looking for a well-kept facility, with a view of three of the best racing facilities in the world, this is the place for you. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that your stay here is stellar. They don't bitch and moan about packages or mail. They have daily trash pick up at your spot. I've never seen pull thru spots that are 100' c 30' wide and divided by beautiful white fencing.

They made us feel very special. Very noble and very American thing to do, evacuees had discounted prices for overnighting with full hookups and no charge for dry. They had organized free meals in cooperation with local restaurants and businesses. Not only that but they provided free tours of the tracks! this is an amazing place and huge with 7 tracks including a dirt track. Very different perspective to be on the infield or like our tour guide did.. went on the Bank of America 400 track at 60 or 70 mph very cool! We are considering coming back at the end of the month for the Bank of America 400 and party on the infield for a week. Thank you Camping World, you didn't have to do this but we truly appreciate to have a home away from home when there is a storm on the way. Your personnel at the store are very nice as well, they helped us with all necessary stuff for sanitizing the fresh water tank

One of the primary reasons i have a unit there to store a bunch out camping/fishing/etc., was because of their security. The previous owners lived on premise, former LEO and the cctv and gate system functioned, i never worried about my unit being broken into. Last Thursday night, my unit, along w many others, were broken into. I had very little loss, it was trashed but that's it. There is ZERO security on premise now, the cctv does NOT function, nor do the gates, they are left in the open position 24/7. There are NO plans to have an on premise person reside there, just a young, inexperienced manager, that's it. I asked how long before the cctv and gate system would be down, 60-90 days was the reply. They have no internet either so they cant process payments, or even do simple things like add a lock to ones account, they have to call the concord store. I even asked if they would simply shut the gate at 8-10 pm and open at 7-8 am, to provide that level of security, nope, gonna stay open to every hoodlum/looter that wants to treat it like a personal shopping ground, especially in these times. Needless to say, i/we, if anyone here has a unit, is not getting what we paid for or expect and I am looking at another space to rent that is secure now, and not an easy target for looters.

Tim and Vickie are the two nicest people you could ever encounter in this cold cruel world of today. Especially in a business aspect. Their personalities are very impressionable. I felt very comfortable when interacting with them upon my first visit. Despite me visiting other self-storage facilities, I knew I was going back to Crosstrax. Wines by the glass and by the bottle available in the lobby, which made for a great place to mingle with other guests. Most importantly, the team there were absolutely wonderful. Joy, who is lauded in other reviews, made a point to learn all the guests' names and was a friendly, accommodating, and fabulous resource. Her warmth was, to us, representative what we experienced throughout the town and the College...and is a reason to come back repeatedly. Only beef is a little bit of room to room noise and squeaky floors and the lack of a fitness facility. For the latter, they offer discounted passes to the local Y, and great suggestions in where to walk or run. I almost hesitate to recommend it ...because we don't want it to be sold out in our next visit. Can't be that selfish though. Great spot (and the only real inn or hotel that is right in town).
