I searched for and tried several cleaners in Lafayette before deciding that Premier was the best in terms of service, results, and personnel. My husband and I took all of our dry cleaning to Premier for over a year. A few months ago, we starting seeing a deterioration in service and especially in the cleaning results. My husband's shirts, even though they were laundered without starch, did not look clean around the collar and cuffs. Then a nice shirt disappeared, and has not been located. I had a pair of twill pants cleaned that had dried mud around the bottom of both pant legs. The pants came back perfectly pressed with the mud still on them. (when I talked to the manager about that he told me the dry cleaning solution would not take that off. He didn't even apologize! He couldn't explain why the employee pressing them wouldn't have noticed dried mud). I took in a trench coat with some spots on the front. I left it for weeks...they cleaned it twice, they put some kind of solution on it the second time that left 3 additional oily spots they subsequently could not get out, then finally told me the owner had no idea what to do about it. Only when I complained about all of the above did the owner offer to refund what they had charged me for the cleaning. Sad, very sad. Save your efforts...go somewhere else. read more
