Today we learned that they are able to make crowns in-house and, depending on your appointment time, you could be done with the process in one day. The two dentists are excellent, thorough, and personable. We've seen several different hygienists at our various appointments and have no complaints. Today a new hygienist, Brian, keeps that streak running. There have been some administrative billing issues, but we think that's been worked out for us.

They start by taking your blood pressure, and checking X-rays and gum health. She is so thorough with her explanations and shows you the images too. She noticed things that my previous dentists overlooked, and found the root cause to my jaw clenching and grinding. She truly cares about her patience's health and well being. I am a highly anxious person, hence the grinding/clenching, and dentist appts always brought me more anxiety. She ALWAYS ask what she can do to make the experience better. She provides me with a blanket, and a mango stress ball. She also offers clients the Tv remote, sunnies, pillows, etc. I am always treated with care. On top of that, the office has an office doggo!! It is small and so so cute! The dental hygienist are kind too and try their best to create rapport with the clients. The place looks well organized and clean. The front desk lady speaks when spoken to and seems friendly...if she like you. Small bottles of cold water are offered to the guests of this establishment. You can now officially do monthly payments with the help of app called Sunbit. This can give you peice of mind, instead of having to pay all at one time. He started with the right side of my mouth and from March 2023-August 2023 I was unable to chew ANY food on the right side of my mouth (even soft items such as bananas) because he put in a filling to a lower right tooth completely incorrectly. I went in for 3-4 "adjustments" and then he just recommended a crown (a permanent, drastic measure) to fix my tooth pain. Although his recommendation of unnecessary new fillings led to the tooth pain and supposed damage requiring a crown, he then wanted to charge almost $600 to put in a crown. I refused and left him as a patient. I finally was able to go a reputable dentist who stated that the filling was input incorrectly and that the filling had to be removed and redone. This reputable dentist remove the filling and redid it in the correct way, and I was able to eat, chew, and use the right side of my mouth immediately. It was infuriating and horrible that I couldn't eat properly for over five months -- DO NOT recommend Dr. Yi or Fairfax Corner Dental for dental work. Dr. Yi did do a good job with TMJ/jaw issues, so I do refer him for that purpose ONLY - NO dental work.

Even though the tooth had very old fillings from over 10 years ago that ultimately made it impossible to save, her dedication and expertise were truly impressive. When we decided to extract it, the entire process was completely painless. I didn't even feel the numbing injection, and everything was handled with such professionalism and care that I felt zero discomfort. She also took the time to thoroughly evaluate my other teeth and check for any potential issues, which gave me great peace of mind. The medical assistant was polite, attentive, and very helpful throughout. Nathan, the manager, was exceptional with the intake and billing process , professional, understanding, and genuinely caring. He even followed up with me afterward to see how I was doing, which meant a lot. From start to finish, everyone on the team was professional, knowledgeable, smart, kind, and truly patient-focused.
