WHY DID HE START AND QUIT HALFWAY IF HE HAD THIS DOUBT?

I went to my dentist and got x-rays and they told me to go back to Dr. Fein as he should be open to redoing the work if it wasn't done correctly. I go see him today and immediately he claimed that the pain was due to the filling my dentist did being done incorrectly or a new infection. He wouldn't even think that it may have not been done fully or he may have missed something. I was told coldly that I could have it retreated, at my own cost. He would absolutely not do anything unless I paid for it. I sent an email regarding thei to he and my dentist in which Dr. Fein replied and denied he had charged me for a deep cleaning and that he never said that my filling wasn't done correctly. He made up a bunch of words and replied to the email. It was in total BS. He actually lied in this email! Read the good reviews but also read the bad ones. This guy apparently does a good job on most but anyone he doesn't do a good job on is refused any type of follow up care or refund. It's a crap shoot and too expensive of one to take. This guy took way more time in replying to my email and lying about what he said then he ever took explaining the bill or the process to me. He words his response email as though he is so professional. He's not. I guarantee he charges everyone an extra "deep cleaning fee" whether they need it or not. Go elsewhere!

He warned when a tool would make a sound so I wasn't frightened. Honestly painless and best experience I've had with dental work. Then they insist insurance "won't cover it" so they can demand full payment upfront. I later confirmed with my insurance that the real in-network cost for the exact procedure code is $1,035. This office charged $2,500 while pretending to be in-network. My insurance also explained that for an in-network dentist, the amount on the insurance fee schedule is the maximum they're allowed to charge. In-network providers are contractually required to accept that allowed fee as full payment and write off the difference, not "balance bill" patients or bypass insurance altogether. Yet this office charged 2.5 times the allowed in-network rate while luring patients under the claim of being in-network. THIS IS FRAUD. Nothing about this place is ethical. Their behavior is corrupt, greedy, manipulative, and disgusting. The hygienist and office manager are fully involved--they know the script, they push the fear, and they enforce the cash-grab. I walked in expecting dental care and instead got emotionally manipulated and financially exploited. Stay far away from this place. They do not care about your health--only your wallet.

When I returned to the dentist for a crown, he mentioned how impressed he was with the quality of the root canal!! Fast forward to 2023, my new dentist suspected a cracked tooth and referred Dr. Patel unsolicited. She too said he was one of the best in the area to determine what I needed. Due to severe tooth pain, Dr. Patel saw me right away despite having a full schedule that day. Once again, he and his team were thorough, professional, understanding and committed to making me feel comfortable. This past week I had a dreaded root canal procedure done by Dr. Citron and his terrific assistant, Ashley. They and their team made my experience very positive! I was greeted by the very efficient and calm receptionist. Even the exam room was welcoming, with several pictures hanging on the ceiling and there was also a huge computer screen directly in front of my exam chair which had an inviting screensaver and which transitioned into a display of all my x-rays when Dr. C came in the room. And within reach was a box of tissues for my trepidacious tears of fear prior to the procedure. 70s/80s music was softly played throughout the office. I brought my own headphones and music which I happily used. After numerous X-rays (one of which was interactive on display, showing where all the problems were from various angles) and several numbing shots in my mouth which were 99% painless because Dr. C placed them perfectly (I've had a couple of instances with past dentists who gave me so much Novocain I felt like I couldn't breathe.) I prefer knowing everything that's going to be done, and Dr. C detailed the procedure and answered all my questions using that really cool interactive X-ray. He was patient with my many questions and animated in his explanations but overall. he had a nice, calm aura. Throughout the procedure he and Ashley were very attentive to my comfort, gentle in their manner, and very focused and professional, and Dr. C gave me to countdown to finish several times which I really appreciated!
