Within seconds of completing my paperwork, I was greeted by Jennelle my dental hygienist. Jennelle walked me back to the chair, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Jennelle took the time to explain to me each detail of the procedures I was receiving during my appointment prior to starting. While in the process of my cleaning, Jennelle made sure to check in with me every so often and ask if I was in any pain, or discomfort. When Dr. Meinbach came in, he greeted me, and caught me up to speed on my x-rays etc. You could tell by speaking with him, he's very knowledgeable and experienced. His demeanor and personality definitely put me at ease. When everything what said and done, Jennelle put together a goody bag for me and insisted I take it. I declined and requested that I simply have a regular cleaning. I was told "We will not provide you with a regular cleaning because we recommend a deep cleaning". Are you joking? You won't clean my teeth because it is a covered benefit under my insurance but you will provide a "deep cleaning" if I pay out of pocket. NO thank you!!!!! this is not the practice for me. Please be aware of these unethical practitioners. I have worked in healthcare for 30 years and never experienced such scrupulously behavior.

When I confronted them with the signed paperwork, they backtracked, calling it a "mistake." Appointments were canceled four times for a permanent crown after my temporary was placed in July. The office staff -- especially Renata -- were unprofessional, dismissive, and dishonest. I've now requested my records and am seeking a second opinion. Depending on that outcome, I will consider legal options. I caution others to avoid this practice -- especially if you expect accountability or long-term care.

The first red flag was that you **cannot actually speak with the dental office when you call--you are directed to a call center.** The call center also could not give me clear pricing for services. I was told that I would need to come into the office for a consultation before they could tell me what I needed or what anything would cost. I was also told that the consultation and X-rays would be free if I signed up for the Sage Care plan. Otherwise, I would have to pay for them. My primary reason for going was very simple: **I wanted a regular dental cleaning.** Once I was there, the dentist explained that they couldn't tell me what I needed without doing the consultation. When I questioned the lack of pricing transparency, the dentist told me, **"No one gives prices over the phone."** I found that statement very frustrating because it is simply not my experience with other dental offices. Many dental offices are able to provide at least basic pricing or estimates over the phone for routine services. I then asked a very straightforward question: If I came in wanting a regular cleaning, but the dentist determined that I needed a more extensive/deep type cleaning, could I decline that service and simply pay for and receive the regular cleaning I requested? **The answer was NO.** That was a deal breaker for me.
