I will never recommend JM Allen Construction to anyone. We purchased out home in 2017 and had…read moreissues with our drier and drywall immediately. Water marks and discoloration, drier over heating. We had JM Allen come out to the home 5 times to look at the issue, had to replace drywall twice and a drier before we called a third party service to come out. Within 5min they called me to the attic to show me the issue. The roof and exhaust port did not match up, giving only half and inch of space for the vent to push out the hot air. When I contact when owner, Mike, he told me it wasn't his problem since the house was no longer under warranty. I attempted to explain that this was his issue with the quality of his build and we did call (5times) about the issue which they failed to find, to which he said I should have found it. Mike, the owner, then told me to contact the roofers......it's his build!!! Mike, the owner, then told me to go F-myself when I said I would post it this and I could figure it out on my own. I will never use or recommend a builder that would not stand by their product, when it was so expensive obviously their fault. Attached is the exhaust port to roof pic...that little sliver at the top leads to the roof and only a fraction of that actually has room for air to escape.
