STAY AWAY This has…read morebeen one of the worst experiances I've ever had with a company. They gave me a quote, which I approved. Ignored me for a month and a half. Then told me it was my fault because I never asked for more paper work after approving the quote. Finally got that done and paid them the deposit. They agreed on a time to install the fence. It's now over a month and a half past that window, and they're still unable to install the fence. They never bother to tell me when they're not going to make it or why. Have to call and ask. They've pushed the install date 3 times now. Have spoken to the owner twice now, since the staff rarely answer the phone and don't return messages left at the office. He's very rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. Since I paid cash to avoid the 3% fee the charge on cards, I'm just stuck with them until they finish the job or I hire a lawyer, but if I had this to do over again, I'd say run far and run fast to another company.

Daniel was a hard-working man who took his job seriously and did it excellently. If you could hire him off of G and S books, I've no doubt that the pickiest of clients would be pleased. Unfortunately, he is part of G and S and I would never, ever use them again. Several neighbors have already stopped by the house to admire my new deck and to ask who built it, saying they'd like something similar. I've had the great pleasure of telling them to use any fencing company other than this one. The sad thing is that just a little customer service would have avoided the hard feelings I have towards this company. All they really needed to do was to call me and explain to me why they could not build my deck in a timely manner. Instead, they would call once or twice a week and lie to me. Drake Anderson: once the contract is signed and the check clears, you'll never hear from him again unless you contact him. He did not follow up on a single thing he said he would do, and when he did answer my texts or emails, he lied repeatedly. Oh, but he "apologizes for the inconvenience." Office manager Shea: I don't know what else she does, but I think her primary job is to call the customer twice a week for no purpose other than to lie to them. "They'll be there Monday." "They'll be there Thursday." "They'll be there Friday, will work on Saturday and will come back on Monday to finish the job." Every single time she opened her mouth to me, it was a lie. Despite multiple requests, I could never even get him to return my calls. But judging by the people he allows to represent him, I already knew his level of integrity. Most organizations reflect the values of their leaders. Apparently the owner of this company needs a reminder of what his values are supposed to be: WHAT ARE THE MARINE CORPS VALUES? Honor This is the bedrock of our character. It is the quality that empowers Marines to exemplify the ultimate in ethical and moral behavior: to never lie, cheat, or steal; to abide by an uncompromising code of integrity; to respect human dignity; and to have respect and concern for each other. Do not give them cash! Once they have your money you are at their mercy. If you pay with a credit card you will at least have the ability to contest the charges. When you do that you have the credit card company backing you up. In order to get this company to actually come do the work I had paid them to do, I had to engage an attorney to sue them for breach of contract. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Only after I had engaged the attorney did they finally send a team to do the work. So as I said in the beginning of this review, the deck looks awesome but the company completely lacks integrity.

RUN AWAY, terrible business. Like some small businesses, they string you along for a bit so they…read morecan keep a steady supply of work. They did this for about a month after giving us a quote. When they finally did the install, they did a pathetic job of installing the gate opener. Over a two-week period they seemed to try half-heartedly to determine the problem, after we told them twice they had put in bad batteries (yes, two dead batteries, one after the other). The solar panel was never mounted properly. I finally got tired of waiting on them to "figure out what the problem is" and spent one hour working on the set up. I put a good battery on it, mounted the solar panel properly, and it is working fine. The next day after I got it working they came back with a good battery, but still not a battery box with a lid. Just a plastic box on its side with the battery stuck in it. Pehaps the worst business in Tallahassee I've ever had to work with. I almost forgot to mention that on one of the times they had someone working on the gate, I arrived home. I started talking to them, and by the time I walked away one of the guys implied that I had cut wires on the system, that they would never leave wires like that. Total BS, they were the only people to work on the system.
