This review, unfortunately, is long overdue... I had the pleasure of working with Brian and his guys, just this past October 2025, but happened to fall and break my left patella, (ultimately having surgery), approximately a week after the job had finished, so am just now getting to it! Prior to working with Brian, I had done quite a bit of research, on my own, and had many ideas, BUT couldn't settle on anything, until talking with Brian ALOT, eventually leading up to hiring his company. Brian's patience and communication was extensive and always informative, plus he regularly provided me with photos which definitely helped me to FINALLY make the decision to go with redwood. The fence Brian and his guys replaced for me was a 30+ year-old "Good Neighbor" fence, (in an HOA), and my neighbor couldn't share the cost with me, due to extenuating circumstances. I wanted to maintain a good relationship with them, and could afford to absorb the entire cost, (even though I would have rathered pay just half). As usual, I had varying ideas about what I wanted for MY side of the fence, looking forward, and once again Brian helped me work through the best solution. Once the fence was completely installed, a coat of waterproof sealant was applied to both sides of the fence. Brian assured me that though the fencing will eventually discolor, as all wood does, he did recommended having it power washed at some point in the future, to help restore some of its lustre. Lastly, but just as important, I always felt respected by not only Brian, but everyone on his crew with whom I came in contact with, AND they always did a great job cleaning up after the work was finished. We paid Brian to put up a chain link side fence which he did. I saw large gaps under which my dogs could escape. We had specifically mentioned that we were concerned for our pets safety etc. I asked if there was a way they could back fill etc to correct the issue , he said yes it would cost us another 1600$ to do the work. My original quote did not include this extra amount. I wrote a check dor the entire amount, first quote and added cost . He never came back to finish. he stopped answering my husbands calls, only answering when he didn't recognize the number. then full of excuses why he never called back, busy. Then i texted him and he finally responded that hed been sick, clients weren't paying him, he said he would come out, each week nothing happened. I guess he's ghosting all his clients now , so off to small claims court I go. read more

They built a really solid fence and the owner seemed like a nice guy, but he's been very hard to get ahold of and busy. I also felt I had gotten a good price, but the cons ended up outweighing the pros. Proceed with caution if you hire them. Here's some of the main issues we had: -They broke a few different sprinkler wires and pipes installing our fence (none of it was fixed or reimbursed by them) -they did not call the 1800 dig line like they told me they would before starting the job -were always in a hurry -had a bunch of nails sticking out (they eventually came back and fixed most of them to their credit but there's still a few left) -the wood holding up one of the gates literally split the day after they installed it -left a mess for the longest time (I'd initially told them it was fine, but looking back on it and all the issues this adds to the unprofessionalism) -never sealed the fence like they told me they would, it's been a rainy winter and parts of my fence are already molding I had wanted to hold off on leaving a bad review, but I'm positive they're not planning on coming back to fix my fence at this point. They started the job in November 2023 and it's now February 2024. I'm gonna have to hire someone else to fix the stuff that's left. read more

Brian and his crew are the best!! I was in business for over 40 years, and these guys are as professional as they get. Ignore the 1 star rating. There is a jerk in every crowd. WE had 70 feet of fence replaced with a 7 ft. fence, Japanese cedar with round pipe poles sunk in cement with 3 cross pieces. Upon completion the fence was sprayed with water seal. Premier Fencing is a great company. The owner and crew are very friendly and knowledgeable about their work. If they ran into any issues, they would ask how we wanted them to handle it. Then they took care of it. That was so awesome. They were very quick in their work as well. They tore down one side of the wood fence and replaced it with chain link and black privacy cloth. Then we had them replace most of the wood fence facing Airport Drive in Bakersfield, California. I would refer this company, Premier Fencing, to EVERYONE! I am so excited about my new fence. FENCE REPAIR COMPANY RECOMMENDATION - Several of our fence panels blew down in the high winds a couple weeks ago. We were able to prop up a few others until new posts could be added. Bakersfield was inundated with fences & trees down. Of the 5 fencing companies I contacted, 3 were 4-6 weeks out, another wasn't taking new jobs as they too were busy. I lucked out when I reached Brian with Premier Fencing as he was on a job in Frazier Park that got pushed out due to 2 feet of mud. Brian gave us an estimate comparable to the other I received, and was able to start the next day! Our fence not only looks better than it did when it was new (the panels we had replaced anyway), but is sturdier than it ever was, it won't blow down. Neither will the panels he braced with new posts. I highly recommend Premier Fencing for all your fencing needs. They're amazing!! read more
