We of course decided to go with a different vendor after this obvious bait and switch. When we asked for the deposit back, Margaret said they would keep $150 of the deposit for 'design fee'. In 2014 they did our sign in Decatur at the Emory Promenade shopping center. The landlord was very specific in his restrictions on how the sign should be done, and A1 met the specifications precisely. Most recently, they did our sign at the Williamsburg at Dunwoody on Jett Ferry Road-- and the result was breath-taking-- a fantastic, sleek, and elegant sign with reverse halo lighting, perfectly installed. They did a highly realistic digital rendering before beginning production of the sign so I could really visualize how the sign would look at my location. They also took care of the permitting process for me so I could focus on other aspects of my business. While their rates were not bottom of the barrel cheap, their prices are definitely reasonable considering the quality of the craftsmanship and sign installation. I didn't want to drop it off in a bin and hoped it got destroyed. When I called, the rep answered my phone call and said they destroy on site and I can watch. He was the only one in Atlanta I could find. The person who helped me was AWESOME. He took all the time I needed, answered my questions, and ground up all my secure documents. I came back on Saturday (wow) with electronics and we followed a similar process. If you need secure data destruction, I-Shred is your place.

I know this b/c my father and I ship to Korea on a regular basis and the owners really take care of us and are very accommodating. The facility is a spacious and seems pretty plain, but the process is relatively simple. Bring what you want to ship, they can pack it up for you, write down the address as best you can, pay the very affordable shipping and handling fee, and voila, you're done. I give them a solid 2 thumbs up and 5 yelp stars. Great prices, great people, great service. Note: The owner, an elder woman, speaks only Korean, but I believe they have employees that speak English so don't worry if your Korean is all jacked up like mine. You'll be fine.

If you need to ship to Korea, this is the place to go - the process and prices are much better than…read morethe U.S. Post Office. For example when shipping vitamins (cheaper here than Korea) -- it costs about $33 (vs $50 U.S. Post Office). Also the nice lady who works there does all the paperwork for you. Some things to remember though - make sure you have the recipient's complete address, phone number and "joo-min-bun-ho" (ID number). in addition for items like vitamins, you need to provide the exact weight (copy the wt from the bottle). The shipment should take about 5 days to get there. Thanks to my friends for telling me about this place! FYI they are located in the same strip mall as "What the Pho" restaurant. Open Mon-Fri 10-7pm, and Sat 10-5pm.
