Amazing. We have lived here for a few months now and this place is incredible. The staff from day 1 has been extremely responsive and welcoming. We don't hear anything from neighbors, and have an awesome unit that came nearly pristine. They also are SO helpful in general and even went as far as helping us out when my partner and I left for a wedding. We had setup an automatic feeder for our cats while out of town, but it jammed while we were miles away and had no contacts in the area. Without hesitation, they went into our unit to make sure our cats were fed as requested. They also offered to check up on them and were so pleasant and helpful. This building an their management/staff are amazing. If you're thinking or considering moving, DO IT!! Best living decision in my life thus far, you won't regret it. read more

My roommate and I moved here in October and we absolutely love it. Here are some of our favorite things! - Rooftop was redone over the winter and we go up there at least twice a week to grill out, read, or work - Maintenance responds almost immediately and has requests finished within a day or two - Very pet-friendly! There's a dog spa, poop bags in two locations, and even treats in the lobby. - The front office staff is always available and helpful for any issue. They respond to emails quickly and always resolve issues if you walk in. Kristen is amazing! - There are events all the time. We had an opening day rooftop party, yoga on Wednesdays, free breakfast sometimes, and Resident happy hours. - There's the option to compost - we have ours picked up every Friday morning. - There's a shared common space in the lobby with a kitchen (we used for our Friendsgiving), pool tables, a television, and a printer - They have a rental suite available to residents for friends/family to visit - The gym is pretty nice (free weights, mirrors, squat rack, etc) and usually not very crowded - The area is perfect. About two blocks to the ballpark, 2 restaurants in the building and a bunch more within walking distance, a liquor store on the corner adjacent, and right on Larimer Would highly recommend. read more

Went to Denver for a Convention last months and stay at the Premier Loft apartments for 3 nights. I booked this through Stay Alfred. The apartment was perfect. Clean, comfortable and more affordable than a hotel. The only problem I had was that the combination I was given for the locker to pick up my key was not working. The person in the front office did not want to assist at all. He said he had nothing to do with the short term renters. That may be true but it could have been said in a nicer way. I felt very unwelcome. However, one call to stay Alfred and I was given a new code that worked. No problems after that. Also a great Chinese restaurant on the ground floor... We visited on a Thursday, had a tour, and were ready to sign up for a studio but were advised by Kristen at the apartment complex to wait till the next day as she expected prices to come down $25-50/month. She said she would call the next day. When we went on their website the next morning the price had INCREASED by $200! When we called Kristen she said she couldn't do anything about the pricing and thought it was maybe just because of the weekend, and we should wait til Monday. The price never came down after the weekend. When we called and left a message to call us back to try to understand why she suggested we wait in the first place as she seemingly had no influence. Needless to say she never called back, and so we secured a studio elsewhere. Be careful when you are given "advice". read more

I previously lived here at Premier Lofts. We (meaning, myself and almost all of the tenants in the building) DID NOT HAVE HOT WATER FOR OVER TWO MONTHS DURING THE WINTER. This was horrible! Management knew about it and even continued renting it out to unsuspecting tenants and short-term guests. The parking garage doors and the elevators were also constantly broken or under repair. My car was broken into, and a friend's car was STOLEN. I apologize for the all caps, but I want to make sure people know what I wish I would have known. Premier Lofts is unsafe and unacceptable. I finally found a new place and moved out. I would never recommend this building to anyone, especially given how expensive the rent is. If you're paying that much, you deserve better. No place is ever going to be perfect, but I wanted to take the time to write a review because after seeing some of the reviews below, I don't think Premier is being properly represented. People often only take the time to write a review when they have something negative to say, so I wanted to write about the positive experience I've had so far. I've lived at Premier Lofts for almost a month at this point, & everything from questions before move-in, actual move-in day, maintenance requests and dropping in the office with questions has been met with only quick & warm responses. Chantal is who I've primarily been in contact with, & she has really made this transition so smooth. Initially, she made a great first impression for Premier while I was still touring apartments, which definitely helped Premier stand above the rest. Throughout the process she's continued to be so kind & is always ready to help. I so appreciate everything you've done Chantal! The only real negatives so far have been issues with the garage door. BUT Premier has been super communicative about it with the residents & has hired security to sit at the door until it's fixed. It's not fair to ever expect everything to go smoothly 100% of the time, & I really appreciate the communication & the way Premier has handled the issues that have been presented so far. I toured a lot of complexes in the area before making a decision, & in comparison rent is pretty affordable (Denver is just expensive in general- especially LoDo/Five Points), the amenities are great, I love all the big windows & natural light in my apartment, the location is great, I love the rooftop, the interior of the building is quiet & smells clean 99% of the time (some of the other complexes I toured in the area were rough in terms of smelling/being clean). Premier already feels like home & I'm grateful for the experience I've had so far! read more

My best friends boyfriend just happens to live in these apartment and everytime i come here i find myself wanting to live downtown more and more. -Awesome views of Coors Field, the Denver skyline & even the tips of the mountains. -The rooftop. wow. fully equipped with a HUGE hot tub (which music videos have been actually shot in!), grill & mini kitchen along with decently nice patio furniture, makes it easy to grill out on a nice summer night. -The gym. Bigger than most, the gym here is pretty freakin sweet, having just about everything. -Location, location, LOCATION! right in the heart of downtown, it's close to everything from the Gin Mill & Biker Jims to Ifish right downstairs. -The lofts. The space my friend lives in here, is quite small but absolutely perfect for a single bachelor. however.... be prepared to shell out a good $1100 a month for one of these places. but with the awesome perks and being close to rockies games....might just make it worth it! read more

Just completed a 12month lease here, and this property exceeded all my expectations. Great management staff and maintenance staff. Nicole is an awesome property manager, and will help you out with any issues! Anytime I had an issue, it was quick to be fixed. They care about everyone's well being, were quick to implement Covid Safety protocols, installed a brand new security system, and hosted plenty of social events when it was allowed. For people that complain about noise...? Well this is downtown Denver, if you can't handle noise, you should probably move to the suburbs. Upon tour decided no way. Girl who toured us last fall was stoned to the bejeezus belt and even though I had an appointment was not prepared for us. The hallways smelled like weed. My roommate and I just extended our apartment here for another term because we have been so satisfied with our experience. While the building itself has been great, it was honestly the staff in the front office that sealed the deal to renew for us. Both Kristen and Drew have been super helpful and clear during both the move-in and renewal process. While living here, the two have them have been very responsive to any questions or requests we've had, and are always friendly to see in the lobby. The location of the building is perfect for restaurants, breweries, and baseball games, and the roof makes an awesome hangout/grilling spot. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I lived in Premier for five years which is an incredibly long time for me to stay anywhere, so needless to say I loved living here. When I first moved to Denver, I looked at a number of options but decided on Premier because the staff seemed great and the property is pretty fantastic. It was a great decision on all accounts! There were a few annoying things, e.g. residents driving into the garage doors (how does that happen???) and the occasional resident who forgot to train their dog. All that said the good drastically outweighs the bad. Here are a few of the things that made living in Premier awesome for me. -Quick access to the freeway and a straight shot to the airport -The last exit on I-25 coming from the north before hitting traffic -Perfect location for bars, Coors Field, and my favorite places to eat -Neighborhood feel -High quality units -Solid workout facility -Pretty safe Lastly it's hard to describe, but there is a sort of a mutual level of success among residents here without a coinciding level of pretentiousness. Meaning that everyone in Premier seems to be doing ok but no one is particularly stuck up about it, which made it more fun to live there. **Review for the leasing office** At the rate which these guys communicate, they certainly don't need my business. I had been looking at getting an apartment here for months -- and we went months in between emails. After speaking with three different leasing agents via email with each dropping off after a couple correspondences, I finally called the office and spoke with a third. She told me the unit I was looking at had been leased and offered me others. Lo-and-behold, the 2nd agent I spoke to via email got back to me again about the original unit (which was now supposedly leased?). Tons of conflicting information, price hikes with every email, and S L O W responses.. That's okay, I'll take my money elsewhere. Gave two stars instead of one because I believe it might really be a great place to live - judging by the other reviews - but I won't get the chance to review that. read more

Lived here for almost a year and a half. Every other month an elevator or the door to the garage would be broken and not in use. The locks on the outside of the building were broke most of the time too. Tried contacting the leasing office multiple times after my move out to get a final bill, was always given the run around or told to leave a message and they would get back to me. Instead of getting back in contact with me they just decided it was better off to send me to a collection agency instead of making a 30 second phone call or emailing the contact information they had on file. I would live anywhere else in Denver, you will hate living at Premier Lofts. Leasing office staff is a joke. read more

Garage door broke and they didn't fix it for months which led to my bike getting ripped apart likely by one of the homeless people that always camp out back. Took forever to get my security deposit back despite endless emails and calls. Not long after I moved the management abruptly threatened me (without evidence) with legal action for vandalism I had nothing to do with. The list goes on. I've lived here since April and I really like the place. The staff is very friendly... everyone from the leasing office to the maintenance staff. There are multiple floor plans to choose from, a quality workout facility, a great rooftop with lots of sunlight (in other words, other buildings don't block the light during different parts of the day), a hot tub, and indoor parking. All the apartments have wood floors in the main living areas which is nice. They also let you have pets. The place is always clean even the sidewalk out front. The occasional person might get lazy with their pet and not clean up after them, but the maintenance staff usually gets on it right away with a pressure washer...unlike the 2101 building across the street where their sidewalks are covered with crap. Every time I've had an issue with something the maintenance staff takes care of it within 24 hours. My fridge quit working on a Saturday morning and they had someone there within 3 hours to take care of it. Turned out it was something small, but it was still nice to have that type of response. There are B-cycle rentals out front, Coors Field a block away, close to many bars, restaurants and other fun things to do as well. There are great walking/jogging paths close by if you like to run. The only thing that I don't like (which isn't Premier's fault) is the fact that you have to drive to a grocery store. However, the neighborhood is growing fast and I wouldn't be surprised if one opened soon. The security has been great as well. On the weekends, they hire an off duty police officer to keep out the "riff raff". All in all, Premier is a great place to live. You're never going to find a perfect place, but this place has just about everything with competitive rates for a growing downtown area. If you're deciding between a few places and the prices are comparable, choose Premier. read more

If I could give negative stars I would this is the absolute worst place I've ever lived in my life . The communication is absolute trash. They don't care a single bit about their residents do NOT move here unless you want constant mental stress and frustration. This is going to be the longest review to read but I PROMISE reading it will be worth it. I've lived in 7 places and have NEVER dealt with a fraction of what this place has put me and others through. Part 1 Let's get into it. It typically takes 3 emails to get a response from them. They only respond once you're pissed and threaten to not pay rent or go in the office throwing a fit to get answers about anything. Chantal was by far the worst manager in the world and completely incompetent I don't know how in the heck she even has a job as manager. I started making her write down prices she was giving me about unit transfers so that she couldn't give me false information and change it later. When I first moved in she violated my lease by giving another resident who claimed I hit his car my phone number. She sincerely apologized and told me over the phone when I asked if it was even allowed to give out residents other residents personal info like phone numbers and she told me it was NOT unless police were involved. Which they were not. I had just moved there so I decided to let this mistake go and not get her fired, my mistake considering she's a joke of a manager. I had about 8 people over on Halloween for a party my music was too loud and neighbors complained, understandable. It was only 10:30 though so when the on staff cop showed up and was rude to me and didn't even give a warning I thought it was a bit over the top considering I was polite and compliant. He then told me "pick your 3 favorite people and everyone else out". When I emailed Chantal for answers regarding my lease and how the situation was handled I was given the run around as usual and finally got an answer out of her. Which by the way was not true. I was told my lease stated I could only have 2 guests per residence. I asked her to show me where in the lease it says that and she pointed me to the place I could find it in my lease. The lease states "2 residents per AMMENITY" when I emailed her for clarification because amenities and residence are two different things her response was "dawn, you cannot disturb your neighbors" uh obviously Chantal, that doesn't answer my question. Joelle is the only manager in the office who has a brain in her skull. She also told me they'd had multiple complaints about the on staff cops rude behavior. There was also a time he showed up to my ex boyfriends apartment on a noise complaint. He was out of uniform and clearly drunk. And my ex was very polite. As soon as the door closed and he walked over to grab the remote and turn the music down like the cop asked, the cop banged on the door. He gave us literally 5 seconds before freaking out about the music again. Dude we had to WALK to get the remote across the room. I opened the door this time and he tried to come in and was even more rude repeating "do I need to go put my uniform on!!" According to management he isn't even allowed to show up out of uniform yet they continue to have him work there despite multiple complaints. Incredibly unprofessional. I then spoke with nicole and wasn't very satisfied with our conversation so I requested I meet with the regional manager since speaking with them gets you no where, no clarification and no proper answers. I even called the regional manager and left a message. After about 3 weeks or more without response I ran into nicole in the elevator and was aggressive in my tone asking what the hold up was she said she'd contact her again. I finally got a call from her and we set up our meeting. I thought the meeting went very well and the regional manager told me she was sorry for what I experienced here and that she would go through the lease and get me clear answers on everything. I told her about Chantal and the emails and offered to show her them to which her response was "she's no longer with us". I didn't realize until after she didn't even care to read them. Shouldn't matter if she was no longer there she should've seen the emails. She told me she needed about a week and a half to get back to me and I told her that was totally fine. Took 3 weeks to get back to me and she was rude, still didn't get answers. read more

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE! ZOCALO MANAGEMENT IS THE WORST! Every month there is another notice on the door that they're charging the tenants more for something that we either (a) already paid for or (b) never had to pay for before. The old management and building engineers were awesome. (Take a look at the dates of the good reviews, they're probably from the old management. Zocalo took over about six months ago) The old management team would take care of issues right away. All of the hallways were clean (carpets on each floor were vacuumed at least once a week, ALL floors were mopped daily). The amenities worked and it was a good place to live. I've been living here for over four years and will not be renewing. The tours only show you the clean areas of the building. Take a look behind the door in the dog wash area and look at the mound of dog hair. Take a look at the floors in the elevator bays on every floor, including the parking garage. I guarantee the dirk, spills, and dust have been there since Zocalo took over. It's filthy! The floors in the garbage areas on each floor are the same; stains have been there for weeks. The floor in the hallway leading out to the alley is stained with dirt and I don't think it's been cleaned in over two months. The elevator floors are also filthy and are no longer mopped every morning. (Yes, clean floors are a big deal because mopping is easy and if they're not going to mop, how are they going to fix the workout machines that have been broken for months or doors that don't lock?!) The other review on Yelp! is correct about the doors not working. There was a good two week span when the front doors didn't lock and anyone could walk in off the street. The back door to the alley wasn't locking at all and became a public toilet area. There's an emergency exit door on one of the floors that has been jimmied open and doesn't lock now. Tenant safety is not their goal. Have more than two friends you want to invite over at a time? Better stay in your apartment because the rules say no more than two visitors in the shared spaces (i.e. rooftop or pool room) per tenant. That is such crap! Have a pet? They are no longer allowed in the shared space on the first floor. Another new rule. Zocalo management keeps putting more rules and more fees on the tenants with no benefit to the tenant. Trust me, you do not want to live here! Plus, it's overpriced for the small sizes of the apartments. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else! read more

I have only lived in Premier Lofts for a couple days, so I can't speak long term, but I thought I'd share my leasing process. I reviewed over 30 different apartment complexes in the Denver Downtown area and narrowed it down to City Gate and Premier Lofts. Price was the biggest thing, it's expensive to be downtown. City Gate came in a little lower price point, but Premier was close and offered a lot more including a better gym which was a great selling point. Also the fact that Premier had some of the best downtown apartment reviews was a plus. I just walked in off the street into Premier and was greeted by Macoy, their leasing specialist, he was awesome. I don't make my mind quickly, so I visited the space several times and shot him multiple emails for questions on the Studio apartment. He always quickly replied and never seemed to be bothered by my onslaught of questions. Plus after even signing the lease, he continued to be my point of contact for maintenance request and general questions. Most apartment complexes send you to several different people for each little thing, it's extremely annoying. Pros - Fantastic community, several people held elevators and were very welcoming as I moved in. Seems like a majority of people of 20-35 years old. - Awesome community spaces (which I'm not sure how often I'll use, but they're nice and clean) - Great Apartment & Location, it's more square feet and nicer appliances than most places I looked at. - Great Leasing Team - I asked A LOT of questions and took my time looking over the contract. They were extremely patient and helpful! Cons - When I first moved it, there was some things that weren't dusted very well and oddly my dishwasher utensil tray was missing, who takes that? I told Macoy and he sent the maintenance crew up to clean the vents and they're replacing the dishwasher tray now. Overall it's been a great leasing experience and I can easily see why it's rated one of the highest apartment complexes in downtown. read more

**This is especially meant for people deciding between different apartments in the Lodo area: Both my boyfriend and I looked at all of the apartments in the Lodo area, I ended up choosing Ballpark Lofts and he picked Premier Lofts. We both lived in our apartments for a year and both moved apartments in the building at one point (I moved from a three bedroom to a two, while he moved from a two to a one bedroom). While my roommates and I found the leasing office at Ballpark to be incredibly frustrating, unprofessional and pretty shady re: weird charges and fines assessed upon both of our move-ins and outs (albeit friendly in day-to-day interactions, I have to give them that), my boyfriend had a REALLY great experience with the leasing office/agents at Premier. They were incredibly helpful and understanding. His move within the building was relatively painless, as well as the move out. They really seemed to understand that you should have a true RELATIONSHIP with the people in the building and accommodate them when possible, more than just waving as one walks in. The cherry on top of our experience there was on my boyfriend's final move out day our car got a flat and we were too tired to fix it after moving everything so we called the office to ask if it'd be OK if the car was there for one more day. After living in Ballpark, I feared that the leasing agents at Premier would treat us the same way "good riddance" way Ballpark treated us (the second we were gone they didn't return any calls/emails over important concerns) -- much to my surprise they were very understanding/sympathetic. As we left both leasing agents encouraged my boyfriend to come back to visit if he were ever in the area. Aside from the office, the location is great. Great restaurants with Zi South, Blake Street Tavern, and the new Viewhouse all open 7 days a week and have kitchens that close late, which we really appreciated. Everything's accessible by bike and theres even a Bcycle station right out front. Overall, I highly recommend Premier Lofts. Yeah they might not boast a big pool like others but the rooftop hot tub is great and you don't have the party, f___ it attitude of neighbors in similar buildings with younger tenants in the area. read more

My husband and I lived here for 2 years and for the most part were pretty happy with Premier. I wish they did not continue to raise rental rates for loyal residents, but we still ended up staying the 2nd year. Great response time on repairs, though to echo TR, the garage gate seems to be broken on a rather frequent basis. It does get fixed. The amenities are great and are generally kept in good condition. I blame some of the residents on the hot tub being out of service every once in a while. The residents are friendly, you get plenty of buffer from most of the night crowd noise, and for the most part the staff is friendly. We've enjoyed two very nice work parties in the community kitchen/billiards room and all of our guests were very impressed. I loved our unit and will miss it very much. All the units have great appliances and nice granite countertops. We recently relocated to another state for new jobs, and had two months left on the lease. This might be my only real complaint about an otherwise pleasant living experience: we were not allowed to sublet, were told by one of the staff that they had "no obligation" to try and help us re-rent the apartment (though other staff members were much kinder about it), and unless someone decides to sign a new lease on the apartment, we have to pay for two months of rent. It's hard to say how much effort they put into re-renting our apartment, though I checked on craigslist and it's been weeks since they put an ad up for the one-bedroom. I suppose it's free money for them, but I do feel that after being a very good resident for two years, we deserved a little more help and a little less cost. This won't be a problem for anyone that is pretty sure they will be living out their entire lease term. read more

They'll ignore your calls and emails. They also fail to tell you this building is primarily rented to airbnb guests. They are not background checked and have no respect for the property. Have stayed here (rm 229) twice. In December the room had not been cleaned nor the beds changed. Excuses were rendered but no attempts to clean or adjust the $155/night charge. One claim was that the room was to be refurnished. So that was a 1-star rating (not posted). This week (3/27) staying in the refurbished room but TV not operational & after 24 hrs no fix but they were very sure to get us paying the entire bill before conclusion of our stay. So this wasn't tested at conclusion of refurb? Toilet paper was in shortage (on back order???) no correction after 24 hrs. Refurbish is nice & room was cleaned so 2-star (no Tv for 2 days running, & will borrow any TP we need).sigh... read more

I would highly recommend looking somewhere else for an apartment in LoDo. There is very little put into making the common areas/hallways/elevators clean. There is constantly some sort of disturbing smell in the hallways. This winter something went wrong with the heaters so the hallways were constantly being heated and were about 100 degrees. Took weeks to fix. On the weekends there is often trash/vomit etc to be found in the most unlikely of places. Management is slow to respond to issues. read more

Don't recommend this building whatsoever. The management is inept and they never call back to answer questions/fix things. It took over 2 months to get security deposit back after calling and calling (over 10x! Absolutely ridiculous.). The building was dirty and smelly and the fire alarms always went off. This apartment complex seemed like it would be great upon touring, but I came to find out very quickly that it was not all it was cracked up to be. Elevators on the east side always smelled like a dead animal. There was dog poop in hallways and any problem in the building took weeks to fix. The leasing agents did not inform me of much moving in and never fixed problems when asked. This complex is poorly managed, the fire alarm goes off constantly and it is consistently dirty and smelly. Would not recommend living here, I moved out after a year and it was the best decision I ever made. read more

This is hands down the greatest place to live in Denver. The location is amazing. close to so many bars, restaurants, so there is always something to do. I lived here all last year and recently moved to another apartment in the same building to have more room. I have looked at just about every luxury building and have yet to find a place that is more beautiful than Premier. I love the hard wood floors, the granite counter tops and the high ceilings and TONS of counter space. The staff is also great. Anytime I have had something I needed help with, it was taken care of by the time i came home from work the same day. If you are looking for a young, fun place to live that doesn't feel like a frat house, Premier Lofts is absolutely perfect. read more

Premier Lofts is as good gets in the Ballpark neighborhood! The location is incredible, great amenities, good restaurants close by and the management is great. The common areas are always clean and any maintenance issues are taken care very quickly. Noise is never an issue as they don't attract the younger crowd like the other apartments around the neighborhood. If you plan on moving downtown this is the place for you! read more

This building is horrendous. False advertising - this building is not new at all. It's ~20+ years old. We have about 25 instances of dissatisfaction (photographed)- including cigarette butts throughout the building, FECES IN the building (rooftop, parking garage, hallway), marijuana smoking by residents IN the building (we're allergic to smoke, stolen bikes. In a 4-month span, they replaced one of our toilets, unclogged our bathtub and sinks, and replaced our fan and disposal. Our dishwasher emitted a foul smell but they were unwilling to replace it because it wasn't "broken". We regret not testing the water - when our disposal was being replaced BROWN water surfaced... While we lived there ~30% of the units were sublet to Airbnb through a company they partner with called StayAlfred, which was never acknowledged ahead of signing our lease (we would have never been comfortable with it had we known). We found out the hard way, through other residents and the debauchery that took place constantly (our unit was directly above and below rental units - the noise, chaos, heckling and smoking out the Juliet balcony - it was horrible). One block from Coors Field made it a hot rental spot but a living hell for residents. We never knew who our neighbors were or if we were even SAFE because there is no on-site presence whatsoever (leasing team never leaves their office...). The after-hours number is a joke - no call backs, no reports, no follow up from anyone. Due to management's negligence and their breach of contract we moved out ahead of our lease expiration. They have sent our "final bill" to collections, suggesting we owe $8k for having "broken our lease" when in fact they were negligent and breached our contract and are now forced to take legal action against them... They're also wrongfully withholding our deposit. Be advised, this is a terrible management company and building. Spare yourself the utter bs we're up against right now and look elsewhere. So disappointing. read more
