I was scheduled for surgery and I needed a CPAP machine. Medicare takes to long to get and so my Pulmonologist sent me to Premier. Arthur squeezed me in. They were going to lend me one for surgery, but Arthur was so helpful , I bought one. Then I am a newbie so he spent a lot of time with me on the mask. So it's not just my experience?? This place is horrible and you should avoid them at all costs. They avoid any and all interaction with "patients" until it comes to payments owed. And also trying to sell you crap. Then they're all over it. I've overpaid for supplies from them for the last time. There are SO many places online to buy cpap supplies, even amazon, for half of what they try to rip off your insurance company for. What a racket. By the time my insurance pays out the wazoo my portion is still more than I can buy the same exact supplies from anywhere online. What a disgrace. The reception is a rude ass person and she shouldn't be working there. One time they sent me a bunch of supplies even though I told them not to and I had to drive to their office to return it. They were trying to ROB me and I wasn't having it. So I walked in and gave it to the receptionist and asked her for a receipt of the exact items that I was dropping off for confirmation. She laughed and said they don't do that. I asked her what recourse I had when I left there to prove that I dropped off everything they were trying to overcharge me for, and mysteriously it all wasn't there. She said not to worry about it. So I pulled everything out of the box, in the countertop right in front of her, despite two other people in line behind me, and I took my time taking a photo of the supplies with HER in the background. Hahaha. At least I had proof of what I dropped off. Ive called to speak with them and they're not helpful and seem like they hate their jobs. Do us all a favor and go work somewhere else. I'm highly annoyed and dissatisfied with the gross neglect Premiere Medical Equipment has for their patients. I saw my pulmonologist April 4. He sent the order in for my supplies. He said if you need them sooner than you can go pick them up when I called Premiere Medical Equipment to do so they told me it's going to take 7 to 10 days. I told them I am in need of my supplies because I couldn't get anything until I saw my Dr. so it's been awhile and I need them. Additionally, this is not my first time getting supplies from them and have been receiving supplies from them for several years . . I tried explaining this and again and was told it is going to take 7-10 days for insurance. I said can I at minimum pick up a nasal pillow, the lady said yes, so I went to the office the same dayand picked it up. She tells me oh they only have one someone found it in a closet... really?? I Don't understand how they don't have supplies there when that is their main purpose of business!!?? I left assuming my supplies to be sent. By Tuesday April 16, When no supplies had come, I Called Premiere Medical Equipment with no luck speaking to anyone as they don't answer their phones even though they say they're open until 5 o'clock during the week. I leave a message telling them I'm waiting for my supplies. Where are they? Please call me back .. their own voicemail states you will get a call back in 1 working day. Well, No one called me back in one working day and in fact, I had to call them again, and again no one answers the phone when they are supposed to be open. I leave another message on April 17th during their working hours Stating , I need my supplies. When are they coming.. and of course no one calls me back. On April 18 they leave me a voicemail stating we sent you a MyChart message .. I looked at my chart message, which was just sent the morning on April 18 .. not on April 4 when the initial order was put in by my Dr. or the call I made to them on April 16 and April 17th stressing how urgent I need supplies as well as seeing them in person April 4th when I picked up the nasal pillow. What the heck? All this time I've been waiting using old material because I don't have new supplies! Since April 4 you wait 14 days to then send me a Mychart message asking what supplies I need! Seriously! don't know how they keep patients if you have to go through this is ridiculousness ! If anyone cared about the patients and looked at my chart, the last time I received any materials, they would be able to see it's been some time so why beat around the bush 14 days later after the order was put in after I called you after I went there would and delay it further by asking me what supplies I want!! I want all the supplies. The insurance covers of course... Customer service and patient care is very lacking and I will be leaving Premiere Medical Equipment after this order is received... if I even get an order. read more

Premier/Duly is the worst. Contacted my doctor 6 months ago about a failing cpap machine. The insurance company has a required authorization process that premier is unable to comply with. They even blamed duly for the problem due to outsourcing to Quantum. Duly made me report to the doctor's office to read my machine. Still nothing happened after taking a half day off work to comply. Since premier is owned by duly I recommend avoiding both. And I still have a failing cpap machine. read more

Completely unprofessional group of people working here the scheduler, Victoria was absolutely no help whatsoever. Gave me the runaround for a couple of days and postponed me getting my medical equipment. Passed me off to her supervisor Chuck who then called and told me the exact same information over and over again Word for Word with no compassion. they will not send my medical equipment through the mail. when I asked if I could just come in directly and pick up my medical equipment, I was told they would no longer be taking care of me, because I asked too many questions and they have spent too much time on me per policy, when I asked what policy I had broken, they laughed & hung up on me? highly unprofessional group of people working here. Severely overcharged me for my CPAP machine. Their customer service is horrendous if you can actually get a hold of someone. The estimate I got for my machine was $650. They billed my insurance $2450. With deductible I paid $1416.96 or over double their "estimate". Stay away from this company. read more

My sleep medicine doctor referred me to Premier Medical to get my CPAP & supplies. When I called the business, there was no reply. My call went straight to voice mail. How is that possible in this day & age? I called multiple times & left messages, and I did get a response back. However, when I got the return call, I was advised that their business was out of CPAPs, and that it would be at least a two week wait to get one, and then they would call to schedule me to get a CPAP, the training, etc. I was so frustrated by this because I wanted to start using a CPAP right away, per my doctor's instructions. However, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. In attempts to find a company which had CPAPs in stock, I called all the preferred providers that my insurance has contracts with, checked everyone's reviews, and found Illinois Sleep Provider in Lyons, Illinois. (They were the only company that had good reviews). Those good reviews were fully warranted--Illinois Sleep Provider HAD CPAPS IN STOCK!! Also, there customer service is amazing. They explain everything so well, and insist if you have any issues once you take the CPAP home to call them and they will help you. They have made my CPAP use a success. I highly recommend them. I was referred by my doctor to this company for a cpap machine. I waited about 3 months for one to come in. I tried it for several weeks and just wasn't getting used to it. I called to return it and was told I had to go talk to the Pulmonologist first. I took time off work and did that. They encouraged me to try it for the full 90 days allowed by insurance. I called Premier Medical Equipment for instructions to return. Left me a message on what I could and couldn't return. I attempted to return the machine prior to the 90 days and they wouldn't take it back citing that it was a 60 day return policy. When asked where that was said and why everyone and all paperwork referred to 90 days, I was told it was posted on a small plastic sign at their reception desk! Seriously?! When asked why the paperwork given to me reflects a 90 day rental they said that it really wasn't a rental per se. They just refer to it as that. So I'm not stuck paying $600 for a machine i used for only 3 weeks. Apparently patients need to make sure they read all plastic signs that sit on the reception desk before doing anything or you too get stuck with a large expense! Shameful! I had a mixed experience with this group! I was a customer of Apria for years because that is what my pulmonologist used... they were so difficult to get an order from, they would often send me the wrong products, and their billing was always incorrect. When I changed to a new doctor, i let him know that i wasn't a fan of the service from Apnea and he recommended that I go to Premier Medical Equipment - which I did. The first time I went there, Chuck the Manager saved me by supplying me with a tube for my machine... I wouldn't have been able to sleep without it. So -then I needed to come in to get my "new patient" information given. The administrative staff was amazing and got my insurance done and corrected and I made my appointment. When I went to the location - i had absolutely no waiting - I was taken in. There was a women (I will call "Associate) there who told me she was training "Gail." Associate began talking to me about what she was going to do... I had significant questions because i had negative side effects from my apnea machine... "Associate" said for me to stop interrupting her with questions. I told her to please stop patronizing me and i find it insulting - and Associate told me that I'm insulting her by interrupting her.... I asked Associate to get her manager for me...and she stared me down and I asked again.. Chuck came in an asked what was wrong. I asked "Associate" to please leave the room..and she said she can't leave...and i asked Chuck to ask "Associate" to leave and she left. After that Chuck and Gail showed me what I needed to do and they got me set up for my next steps and provided me with the equipment I need. Chuck and Gail were AMAZING and "Associate" was not...but if you can avoid "Associate" - you will be with great people who know what they are doing and are kind, compassionate and terrific humans. read more

Do not use this company for CPap. I have been on the waiting list for 5 months (since Aug 2022) for my 1st cpap machine and I am only told that I am on the next shipment that comes in but they are not sure when it will be. My question is, if this machine does not give the sleep benefits as hoped for, will it be a huge hassle to make changes. Seems that the machine I ordered is in stock at a lot of places. Only given me one replacement mask for my Cpap in nearly a year and a half. All complained and questions to Resmed, Premier and Duly have gone totally ignored or simply sent to another person who either ignores the call or refers me to another person who does the same thing. There are companies designed to treat Patients with needs as Customers with complaints. They do everything they can to keep you from speaking to a doctor or manager or anyone that can solve you problems. Also, call your insurance first because they will lie and tell you that your insurance doesn't cover it. Mine has.... I even emailed them a letter and a contact person to call. STILL no results. There are plenty of Sleep experts out there.... but avoid Premier, Resmed and especially any sleep doctors from DULY. They couldn't care less if you wake up choking for air. Just so long as your insurance pays them what they demand. I cannot stress this enough... find a different provider. NOBODY should have to go through the rigors that these horrible and unprofessional people will put you through..... and in the meantime.... you are STILL not sleeping good and are choking! read more

The worst at processing replacement CPAP supplies. My order shipped more than two weeks ago. Still hasn't arrived. PME doesn't process and handle the order. PME passes it on to a third party that appears to be unskilled let alone unprofessional. Awful experience to have to deal with two companies like this. Voice mail prompts and system is irrelevant.
