I received Unnecessary attitude from Dr Elia when I told him about the pain from him pressing on my knee, while also seemingly unable to read an X-Ray, needing me to point out things that were clearly labeled. Then the nurse told me they won't discuss my MRI over the phone, that I would need to drive another 40 minutes and pay another $140 copay just to tell me my results. When I asked why they can't just tell me on the phone (which is something even my cancer doctor does) she said "talk to your insurance" and scurried out of the room. DO NOT GO HERE PERIOD! My experience was extremely disappointing and has now led to a much bigger medical issue. I was treated at this office for about six months for foot pain. During that entire time, they never performed an X-ray or proper imaging. I was repeatedly told that I had plantar fasciitis ( and I thought I did ) and was treated for that diagnosis. After continuing to have severe pain, I sought another opinion. An X-ray was finally done, and it showed that I actually have a bone spur. Because the correct diagnosis was missed for so long, the condition has worsened and I now need surgery. Instead of identifying the root cause of the problem, my pain was simply masked with temporary treatments. If proper imaging had been done earlier, this could have been diagnosed and treated appropriately. as soon as the podiatrist touched my ankle and foot he said he could feel the problem lets take a xray to confirm he touched my foot and knew .... I would strongly encourage others to seek a provider who performs thorough evaluations and proper diagnostic testing before making a long-term diagnosis. i went monthly to this doctor office and never did they do any imagining. New doc did an image 5 minutes walking in front door and showed me the issues immediately and said this could have been avoided or at least not as painful and or bad... DO NOT GO HERE . I began getting injections for my right knee in January 2024. By May 2025, the injections were no longer working. I was ready for surgery. I signed paperwork and I was given numerous tasks to complete before surgery. I continued to e-mail the scheduler for updates. After several attempts, I wrote another e-mail asking for a response. I received a phone call from the scheduler stating that my surgeon injured his shoulder and he was unable to operate. I asked for another surgeon. A couple weeks later, I was given a new doctor. I completed another set of paperwork and more tasks to be completed. Finally I was given a surgery date. Two weeks before that date, I received a phone call stating my A1C needed to be under 7, mine was 7.1. I asked if the office was going to advocate for me and I was told to lower my A1C. I wrote a letter to appeal myself. I was granted the appeal except my insurance would not agree to the computer assisted surgery. I never received any communication from Premier. Today I had an appointment with Rothman. I am scheduled for surgery October 16th. I can finally look forward to regaining my quality of life. read more

I'm very discouraged my knee Dr in Haverford fabricated 90% of our last visit I have the medical notes and it's not anything like our last visit. He spent less than 5 minutes with me didn't lay a hand on me to examine my needs and dismissed me without making an appointment In august for surgery when my medicare would be activated. He discussed nothing with me in length nothing about pain management there were two sentences he was upset I have a lawyer I didn't have a lawyer to sue a doctor I had a lawyer so that I could get treatment. He did not listen when I told him my neuronec surgeon ask for no hyperextension during my surgery on my neck, and the knee surgeon took that to mean that my neck was in bad shape and that it should be treated before my knees I'm unable to work I'm unable to continue with my life and I need my knees fixed. read more

Doctor Pepper and his assistant Robert Martin replaced my "destroyed" hip joint on April 24th. All risks and expectations were clearly explained to me. Hip was so bad that the left leg was a full inch shorter than the right. Now nearly four weeks from surgery I am taking walks outside with cane for balance but able to put full weight on replaced hip. Legs match in length. Home therapy was lined up for me and now looking forward to the next step in recovery through out patient therapy. As far as I am concerned Doctor Pepper is a miracle worker. read more

I have been a patient of Premier Orthopedics' for many years now and for a host of sports related injuries. The doctors are nothing short of excellent. The non-medical office staff, however, are absolutely horrible - particularly, their billing department. They are pretty much, inept at their jobs. In addition, the new medical system that they delightfully advertise when you first contact the office is equally as deficient. At issue is an invoice that I had received roughly 6 months after my procedure was performed. And trying to get the matter addressed is almost impossible as I cannot speak to anyone human. Like being treated like one cow in a heard of cattle??? Then you're gonna love this place. Dr Ciliberti could not get me out if his office fast enough. This is after waiting for an hour in the waiting room. He didn't listen to a single word I said. I just started experiencing pain in the ball of my foot in November of 2024. While in his office for the 7 minutes he had for me, he said the pain was being caused by my previous bunion surgery....that I had in 1998! So for almost 30 years, no pain whatsoever, then Boom thats the issue. When I told him when that surgery was he said (without even pausing) "it's inflammation I'll give you a steroid injection for inflammation ." Not even one minute prior to this I had told him that the podiatrist who referred me to an orthopedic surgeon had already given me steroid injections and they helped ZERO! He then shifts gears again...refers me to another Premier Ortho office for an Ultrasound and take a guess what else he wrote on that referral sheet????Any guesses??? Yep, A steroid injection. Astonishing. Ok, whatever. I'll see what the other Dr has to say.....he never shows up for work. I'm told this 45 minutes before my appointment which was 1 hour away so...yeah...I'm already driving for 15 minutes before they have the decency to call. Of course if I did that they'd charge me a cancellation fee if it wasn't more than 24 hours notice. They say, "The Dr didn't come in today. I have to leave him a message so we can reschedule you." Ok, so I wait....and wait...and wait...now remember, I'm in pain here....and wait. Nothing for a week! Finally I call them... (like a good cow) after going through the maze of prompts I get a live person. She puts me on hold....AND NEVER COMES BACK! Frustrated, I hang up. The next day I call again...go through the B.S., get a live person...I swear on my mothers eyes this is how the convo went..Her :"What part of the body are you having trouble with?" Me: "I'm having pain in the ball of my right foot." Her: "Is this a podiatry issue orrr...? Me: "What?" (No, it's the right foot that's in my ass....?!?!?!?) she puts me on hold for almost 12 minutes. Returns and says "Sorry for holding, what are you having an issue with again? Your knee?" I lost it to say the least. DO NOT GO TO THESE MONEY MONGERS! There are way too many good Drs out there to put up with this. read more

I am sure that the Dr we saw is very good. However, the office is absolutely impossible to deal with. You can never call and speak with someone, you have to leave a voice message and wait to be called back. The office took forever to get an insurance approval, then we called our insurance company and found out it was approved, it took Premier another 5 business days to call us back to let us know we were approved by the insurance company. Finally, we did an MRI at Premier and they did not give us a CD, we live 90 minutes away from their office and in order to get a CD of the MRI, we need to go back, they will not mail it. Because of these and other issues dealing with Premier, we will be going to another physician for the surgery. It's too difficult to deal with Premier's red tape and incompetence. read more

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! My first appointment I waited an hour and a half to see Dr. Chou in Havertown. From there he had me get some MRI's an X-Ray and bloodwork. I had it all done and went to my follow up appointment which I drove to Chadds Ford for just to be able to see him again. Took a day off work to get there an discover he had not received my x-ray or blood work and came into the appointment not having seen any of the results or reports from the imaging or bloodwork. Dr. Chou stated that when he was checking my file to prepare for my appointment, he noticed my information was not there and wondered if I had gotten the work done. But...NO ONE FROM THE OFFICE CALLED TO ALERT ME ABOUT THE MISSING INFORMATION AND TO CONFIRM THAT I HAD IT COMPLETED!!!! Had they reached out, it would have been a simple phone call to get it sent! So, as I stated, after taking a day off work the appointment was basically a waste of time as he was not prepared with any of my reports or information to properly and fully assess the situation. In his own words "I am coming into this appointment blind". I left with oral steroids which I could have gotten from my primary doctor and not wasted co-pays to see a specialist. Today I am trying to contact the office to see if they got the missing information and if he looked at it but YOU CAN NOT GET THROUGH...NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONES! Dr. Quinby did my right hip replacement a couple of years ago. He did an excellant job and I have had no problems with it. So happy! Dr. Quinby is super nice and a great surgeon. The front office is sub par at best as far as I am concerned. Not like when I had right hip replacement done. I call and leave messages but, don't get a call back. I feel like his office staff has a problem with not relaying messages. If Dr. Quinby was not such a really good Dr. I would get someone else to repair my fractured Tibia because of the aggrevation of trying to deal with his office staff. I can and do highly recommend Dr. S. Quinby to all my friends and family but, be forewarned you may have problems with his unprofessional office staff. read more

I started going to Premier a few months ago for my back pain. It's still early in the process, so I am not at the point where I know the outcome of my treatment yet. The staff their is super friendly. I rarely wait much at all before I can check in. The nurse who typically takes me back is about the sweetest person their is. She has a very upbeat personality, and takes in interested in you as a person. She is also good at her job. The doctor I see is Dr. Kelly Scollon-Grieve. She has a great bedside manner. She is both knowledgeable and friendly. She also cuts to the chase, something I really like in a doctor. This combination allows her to be on time. Unfortunately your physician and clinicians are only as good as their support staff. The process I've gone through to satisfy a $38.91 copay has been ridiculous. The date of service was in February, 2020 and it's now January of 2021 and I'm still dealing with it. I paid the copay correctly when I received the bill in May 2020. I put the date of service and my sons name on the check. They posted it incorrectly to my husband's account causing a credit balance. They have been unable and unwilling to move the payment to the correct account. They have been unwilling to issue a refund. They have badgered my son, and threatened sending him to collections, despite their error. To avoid collections, I paid the copay, again. I've never received a refund for the credit balance on my husband's account. If I added up all of the time I spent making calls, sending emails that went unanswered, and following up, it's been hours. I would not recommend going to any of the physicians in Premier given the inability of the business office to address issues and resolve billing matters. read more

I met with Dr. Cabry who explained all the issues and paths of treatment available to me, and he had me scheduled for a spine injection within a week. I'm sitting in their recovery section right now after an amazingly quick and painless spine injection. I've had a spine injection before, and let me tell you...this is light years better than my previous experience. I'm just so impressed with everyone from reception to the assistants, to the doctors. You are a number to Premier, not a patient. This is not a knock on the doctors, but the office is run horribly. It is obvious that they have too few doctors working... so they are always running behind schedule and trying to get through you as soon as possible vs. taking the time to understand your issues. If you don't believe me, try to make an appointment and it will be at least a month... I waited 6 weeks once and they called me 2 days before to cancel.. with the next available appointment being a month later. That is simply unacceptable and shows they could care less about your well being, they just want the office visit. Avoid Premier at all costs, there are DO's offices out there that will treat you with respect. read more

As a referrer and tournament softball and tennis player, I credit Dr Hauser and his practice with my ability to enjoy life exactly as I want to. I have used Premeir Ortho (and PT) in the past for shoulder and ankle issues and had been very happy with them. However, I recently saw Dr. Balotti at the Exton site and am amazed he has a license to practice. He took no medical history and nobody provided forms for me to sign. He asked only about my current injury and looked at my recent X-Ray. Period. So he had no consent to treat and never asked about allergies, prior cortisone injections - nothing. Really. I agreed to thrvcortisone injection only because I was nearly incapacitated by pain and spasms . He sent me with an Rx for an MRI and PT. Note he recommended PT before he knew what was wrong. I came back with my MRI results a few days later. He declared I was healing, did not need PT, and I should "resume my normal life". 4 hours after resuming "my normal life", I was wracked with unbearable muscle spasms and lost another 4 days of work. I completed the survey Premeir sent and detailed his many actionable actions as well as his gross failure to provide anything resembling informed consent or basic standards of care. I hoped they'd investigate my report. I did not hear back. Please do not see this very dangerous doc. I eventually received excellent and appropriate care/treatment from Gianna, an amazing PA at Rothman Media. read more

Premier is definitely a group of doctors.I had first gone for pain in my knee (that I felt when I moved my knee a certain way) I had missed a step and fell in may.i saw dr Costanza.he had my knee X-rayed.he cane in the the room squeezed my knee a little and suggested a shot . So I said ok. He jammed it right in the sore spot. And had to take it out and go it the other side. Then he said come back in 6-8 weeks. I had already told him the injury was 3 1/2 months old and it felt like a muscle injury. Needless to say two weeks later I made another appointment with a doctor yucha. He ordered an MRI on a Monday I had the MRI on Wednesday my follow up visit that Thursday and lo and behold I had a torn meniscus the whole time I had the surgery last week and I am on the mend thanks to dr yuchca. I almost switched to a different orthopedic group because of the first doctor but I read good reviews and Dr.yucha is a great doctor read more

I went to see Dr. Lake with pretty severe knee trouble (i.e. ongoing and increasing pain, popping, cracking when walking, going up/down stairs, sitting, etc). Dr. Lake was very nice, but his assistant was a challenge to deal with. Dr. Lake prescribed an MRI, which was denied by my insurance company. My insurance company said the doctor could appeal the decision by writing a letter, so I called the office. Tracy, Dr. Lake's assistant at Premiere, said they would not be willing to write the letter to appeal. When I asked why Premiere wouldn't write the appeal, she said "Talk to your insurance company" and hung up. Headed over to Penn Orthopedics, who said they'd get me the MRI. read more

My daughter told me that going here is like going back to grade school when you used to get together and play doctor, nurse and patient with your school friends --- that's what her experience was like here but much worse. Nurse Tracy comes out to "ask" her medical questions regarding the reason she had been referred there and what is physically wrong with her --- IN FRONT OF OTHER patients waiting in the waiting area --- She reminded her of HIPAA laws but Tracy said that her questions have nothing to do with HIPAA. Well, I guess she would actually have to know what HIPAA is before making that call and she clearly didn't have a clue. From my daughter's testimony: Then, she sent me on a wild goose chase to retrieve my existing x-rays from my doctor whose office was located in the next town all the while giving me a script for another x-ray which was clearly not needed. Tracy said, "When you come back, go to the MRI/X-ray lab downstairs and the doctor will see you down there." (This was another flat out lie.) When I retrieved my x-ray from my chiropractor and returned with the piece of paper Tracy had given me to see the doctor, the woman in the X-ray reception said, "You're here for an x-ray? That's what this paper indicates. You better take your x-ray and the paper/script and go back upstairs and ask them what they meant? So, I went back to the 2nd floor where Tracy reluctantly had me come back into the room to get my blood pressure. I gave her the x-ray and her script back and told her that the "medical staff downstairs actually were quite baffled as to why you wrote out a script AND had me retrieve the x-ray across town?" She chuckled and said, "Oh, you actually went and got the original x-ray?" Finally, when the doctor came into the room, I felt like telling him about the girl/nurse Tracy who was clearly unprofessional in the waiting area, and even more unprofessional when I actually complied with her "wild goose" chase instructions. Yet, the man playing "the doctor" said, "My staff takes pride in treating all of our patients with respect. We also want the same respect. I will NOT treat you until you apologize to my staff outside. They said that you threw the clip board at them." WHAT? Oh, I want to meet this person. I went outside and asked who it is that thinks I threw something at them? Another girl/nurse turned around to face me. I asked her, "You claim that I threw a clip board at you?" She replied, "Well, not really, you flicked it at me." Hmm... I apologize if it caused you any "harm". I then turned around and said, "Well, now that that's done, let me get back into this room." DR LAKE then actually thought he was playing in a soap opera and asked the nurse, "Did she say she's sorry to you?" She nodded. And then, he reluctantly came back in the room to look at my x-ray and then tried to upsell me on casts that I didn't need and then he adjusted my existing splint. He gave me scripts to make an appointment to return to him in 4 weeks and prior to the appointment, get another x-ray. I made the appointment and then left the building. Then, it hit me. DR LAKE said, "Our staff takes great pride in treating all of our patients with respect and we expect the same respect..." I hadn't received any apologies from Tracy -- the first "anti-" HIPAA law lady/nurse who sent me galavanting all over town to retrieve x-rays and return to the wrong area to see a doctor. WASTE OF MY TIME! They wouldn't let me see the doctor but rather told Tracy that I wanted an apology for doing "all of that" to me --- she said, "I did nothing wrong. No!" I then said, "Well, congratulations, Tracy, you will be reported and if this place has a HIPAA audit, they may start with you. The other lady yelled out, "I will cancel your next appointment, then." I left and I warn anybody before going here --- seek a professional medical firm cause this one is a farce. read more
