My father is "Kibei" meaning born in USA , then at a young age returning to Japan to be raised. A few months had passed since my conversation with my cousin. I received an package from Japan containing photo copies of my father as a child, and original studio photo's of my father in school uniform. The pictures were taken in 1931 and we're fading fast from being so old. I was quite hesitant in trying to have these pictures restored mainly because of the high cost of restoring photo's. But I knew that if I don't restore them now, they would be gone forever! My decision in picking the right photo studio to do the job was ( the business had to be local and have great reviews on "Yelp". My wife and I had no idea as to the cost of restoring old photos so we brought them in for an estimate. There are times when everyone is on assignments and the business in closed. Fortunately the sign read open as we drove by! (Yah !) Roger was quite helpful in explaining the pricing process and proceeded to scan the photo's. In this way he can see the extent of the damage and determine the price. Even though the pictures were faded, the damage was minimal. Roger restore the photos on the spot. "Great" ! We met Nate and Jessi at a Wedding Expo (that we weren't even going to attend, might I add) and from the moment we saw their work we knew they would be one of our top choices. They did a giveaway at the event that we won and we just knew it was meant to be. Immediately, we scheduled a coffee meeting, and as soon as we walked out of the coffee shop, we knew that Nate & Jessi just HAD to be there to capture our wedding. Planning a wedding can be stressful - trying to coordinate vendors, create timelines and be communicative with all who are involved just to name a few. Nate and Jessi truly set themselves apart from other photographers by being involved and willing to share their knowledge with us. From offering sample timelines based on the information I was giving them, reaching out to schedule phone calls/when to check in with them, and even just offering tips & tricks to make planning a little smoother, they made it so easy to work with them. That's when we decided to throw a curve ball at them, we had to cancel the big wedding and decided to elope! A year early, complete change of course and about a month to plan and they made it happen. They went the extra mile for us, they showed up early and scouted out a beach spot and some picture locations. We didn't get the chance to do an engagement shoot and they still made us feel so comfortable taking our pre-ceremony photos. They shot our small ceremony, with about 20 friends and family in attendance and even made it to dinner with us for some more casual shots afterwards. We got married on 8/24/18, a Friday evening, and by Monday morning I had an email with what to look forward to. We were guaranteed a certain timeline and amount of pictures to expect, and I think from that point forward, I checked my email about once an hour every day waiting for a sneak peak of pictures to come. We only had to wait a couple weeks(WOW!!) and for ALL of our photos to arrive. Seriously, we knew they were amazing but they truly blew us away. Our photos were more than we ever could have expected. Our sunset, Lake Tahoe elopement was captured so beautifully behind their lenses. Now, our only problem is that there are TOO MANY good photos to choose from. Nate and Jessi truly met and exceeded all of our expectations, they weren't just our photographers but new friends.

They also do a great job in setting the format on the photo for the guests. That's right...not only were you able to send the photo to yourself digitally, we were able to have two copies within a couple of minutes. That's a perfect way to send your guests home happy. Although the event ran on a long and complicated schedule, No Limit was very accommodating to their schedule, and their involvement and interaction was seamless.
