I called and asked if the physiciam recommended to me was accepting new patients and was told yes. After taking down all my insurance information, etc. I was told the earliest appointment available was NINE MONTHS FROM NOW!! Clearly this was a waste of my time. Why would I be told the doctor was accepting new patients, but that I couldn't see them for at least nine months? This'll is not the first bad experience I've had with Bayhealth regarding unacceptable appointment wait times. My recommendation is to avoid this provider as it seems to be very poorly managed, even if the doctors are great. What good is having great doctors if you can't get an appointment to see them?

Then medications they prescribes YOU NEED TO READ MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS, case in point eve prescribing 2 a day one in morning and one in evening when really your supposed to take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. So I finally had my fill with this practice and send a letter in the portal that we always communicate through, stating I had enough with the lack of unprofessionalism this practice and I'll be finding a new dr. This weekend. Once again eve shows how out of touch with her patients & sends a certified letter that I'm guessing states she's not going be my de anymore. SAD IT TOOK EVE 6 YEARS TO FINALLY BE ON THE SAME PAGE. Now they sent me a $10 charge for a certified letter that's saying the same thing as I sent them in their own portal!! Remember your health is your responsability, and never put it in an other persons hands cause they are here for the money not you!! I could go on on how they screw up prescriptions, X-rays on wrong shoulder, etc., if you thinking about this practice look further then here. Unless you want to be your own dr. But paying them. Really this practice was only good at writing prescriptions but then they can't get them to correct pharmacy or prescribes the correct dosage. I'm just getting old and putup with this crappy service way too long. My health gotten worse going to this practice but my prescription load had quadrupl. When I started going to this practice I told my PA about my heartburn and that I'm a soda whore. Hear reply is here's a prescription for heartburn medicine. Nothing on trying to fix the problem such as stop your intake of high fructose corn syrup. once again your responsibility is finding a good Dr. and this isn't the place to search for one.

The office is beautifully remodeled in a warm, clean, inviting fresh Manor. Even the smell in the air at Alpha care was pleasant. I was amazed to see fresh gourmet gratuitous, coffee, refreshments, and snacks for all who have appointment I have to say that it is so refreshing to see the entire staff, smiling friendly and enthusiastic to get to know me and was actually concerned about making a great impression and that is just walking through the door alpha care is an ultimate care facility. I had an appt today at 10:45 am and when I arrived the MA called me back and proceeded to tell me that Dr. Pearson refused to see me because I had been discharged from the practice a year ago. I informed her that I didn't know why and was never informed. she stated it was for "rude behavior" but she really didn't know what that referred to, only that when she asked the doctor if he would see me, he said no. He didn't even come in the room to talk to me about the situation that I have no idea to which they are referring to.... every single time I've been in for my yearly physical I have been offered a job in the office. I've never been rude to the physician or staff. I'm very disappointed and find this to be extremely unprofessional, as I also work in the medical field.

Second appointment they did labs and when the labs came back showing an infection and I called, they told me there was no infection. I ended up in the ER with an infection that required treatment. Today was my follow up appointment and they canceled it 2 hours prior to the appointment. Horrible and negligent care.
