Wish I had known of such stuff because after the visit the offending calls started coming in for foot paraphernalia and such - they sold my information. I stopped a couple of years back, but my wife just now had enough of the shenanigans and incompetence to say enough is enough. There is no such thing as continuity at this practice. Keeping accurate records and billing are apparently not a priority here. One of the most annoying things is that when it comes to maintenance medications for say, cholesterol or blood pressure, most providers will be happy to write you a 90 day prescription and have you come in maybe every 3 to 6 months to check your labs. This practice will write you a 30 day script, and then force you to come back in a month to pay another copay just to sit and watch the doctor write out new scripts. Calling and leaving messages or getting any info over the phone is an absolute nightmare. You are lucky if you talk to the same person each month and the practice is like a revolving door, staff-wise. If you value your health, your patience and your wallet, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Luckily, my heart checked out fine, but his keen eye picked up something odd on my cardiac echo which wound up being a tumor growing in my pancreas. The tumor was removed later that year. Fast forward to 2014, and I was having problems with heart palpitations and other problems that got me referred out to another cardiologist in Murfreesboro. I fooled around with that guy for months and all he could do is run test after test, and then want to run them again because he forgot that he already ran it. I remembered the experience that I had with Dr. Mangione and got back in to see him. Within a visit or two, he had determined the issue and was able to resolve the problems with a minor change in medication.
