He listens attentively, probes to ascertain issues, is not rebuffed by questions, and makes his patients feel like they've been heard and receiving the best medical attention and actions that a primary care physician could offer. He is knowledgeable and trusted to be current in that knowledge. He views patients as whole persons, physically, mentally, and emotionally. He sees the patient in context of their circumstances (i.e., impacted by needs resulting from work and family situations). His compassion is real and comforting. He is forthright in positive and helpful ways. His sense of humor is appreciated. Dr. Kurzynske is one in a billion!

After giving my name, I was directed to step on a scale and provide measurements--no introduction, no explanation, no basic courtesy. It felt more like processing inventory than welcoming a person. Then came the actual "care" session. The provider launched into a rapid-fire explanation of all the ways the clinic can bill you, delivered with the energy of a fast-talking sitcom character. She shared that she knew I had already been given all of those details though just wanted to recap again. Then, she told me why she thought I was there which was not accurate. I asked her to slow down and please take the time to have dialogue instead of talking at me. She never asked meaningful questions or or make a genuine attempt to understand why I was there, which made any real conversation about mental health impossible. Overall, the experience felt dismissive, disinterested, and transactional from start to finish. The caregiver, in particular, seemed better suited to a role with minimal human interaction - perhaps guarding an empty museum wing, because meaningful engagement was clearly not part of the approach. I am genuinely appalled and disturbed this clinic presents itself as having any aptitude in mental health care. None of them demonstrated an ounce of intellectual curiosity or communication skills which should be critical in caregiving roles.

They decided to run an EKG on me as a good way to see what was going on. The process was run three times to insure that the results delivered were consistent. The next thing I knew paramedics had been called, the staff was ready for CPR if necessary and I was bundled up and out the door on the way to the hospital! My story has a happy ending. Surgery corrected my issues and I live happily ever after. I think about what happened that day every time I drive by the clinic. Had I not been received so quickly and had the staff not triple tested me to make sure I was in distress, and had they not been so quick to call paramedics well, I might not be able to even write this review!!

This was news to me. On 12/3/25, I spoke with the office manager, who said she would look into the situation with both Rob and Brenda and call me back. Once again, no one followed up. The staff at this facility knows I get seriously sick from allergies, yet no one seems concerned or willing to communicate. After this experience, I cannot recommend Gracepointe to anyone. I don't know if I am doing this correctly, but I would honestly advise against using Sterling. I made an appointment months in advance because I was struggling with depression and wanted to pursue getting antidepressant medication in addition to diet, exercise, and therapy. I confirmed my appointment two days in advance, signed my forms digitally, and was glad about getting help for my condition. They responded to my confirmation with an additional message, so my confirmation was confirmed. Thirty minutes before my appointment, they let me know it had been cancelled. I called the office to ask why, and perhaps reschedule. I get it. Sometimes physicians get sick or have a family emergency. That would have been totally okay and I could have done the appointment another time. The receptionist pretty rudely informed me that my would-be psychiatrist quit a month ago, and that she was no longer with Sterling. I told her that was a bit confusing for me as the patient, because they still confirmed my appointment. She responded to this negatively as well, and when I asked about scheduling with another physician, she said that would be not likely or not possible because Sterling only has one psychiatrist and he is far too booked up. I really needed help with my depression, and I wish that Sterling hadn't given me what was basically a fake appointment. I also wish they weren't so rude when I was following up looking for care. If I had known my physician quit, or that the appointment wasn't happening, I could have gotten treatment somewhere else. Now, I am still in need of medical advice regarding my depression, but I'll likely have to wait a few more weeks to get advice somewhere else while my condition worsens. Arrived a few minutes late but was not an issue. Receptionists were very nice and informative. Got in to a patient's room within 5 minutes of checking in and completing two pages of paperwork. The nurse practitioner was very thorough and took down my symptoms and history. Dr Bloom came in about 20 minutes later. He was informative, pleasant, and thorough.
