    BHC Roofing - Finished Project

    BHC Roofing

We went with BHC Roofing for total roof replacement. A leaking roof is your worst nightmare, but…read morethe whole experience of dealing with BHC roofing can't be smoother. From the back office to their actual project team, every step of the journey has been dealt with efficiency and professionalism. The team arrived at our house at 7 am and they were in the process of cleaning up by 11 am. During the process, there was minimum noise and they were very honest about the roof conditions in terms of what part of the decking needed to be replaced and what looked good. We've been dealing with different contractors in the past several years due to our moving around. BHC Roofing is definitely one of the better contractors. Highly recommended!

So when i saw their fleet of trucks decend on my street a few years back, efficiently and respectfully doing a neighbors roof, I decided I was going to jettison my old roofer and hire BHC. BHC is a very well run, responsive, personable, respectful, and conscientious business. They come when they say they will, do only what's needed, and provide fair value for their services. The workers are straight forward in their explanations, taking photo evidence of the roofing conditions to share with the home owner. They discuss what needs to be done right away and explain the options available, which is good to have if working with a budget. They follow up with reminders if the roof is coming due for maintainence which is a nice service. Outta sight, outta mind is human nature, so i appreciate the reminders for recoats, etc. The roof is not something to leave to chance, especially with the crazy weather experienced lately ( strong winds, hail, torrential rainfall, etc). I recently had a clogged downspout (from some tree debris) that was pooling water on the roof and BHC was out within a few days of my call. No job is too small when it comes to their customers. I sincerely appreciate that kind of respect and service. I am so glad I found BHC Roofing! They are a reliable, honest roofing company providing excellent work (at a fair price) which they stand behind. A joke: Q: How did the roofer get such good feedback on his roof installation? A: He nailed it. Thanks, BHC!

I was nervous but once I spoke with them, I was at ease. Every part of the process with the Gutter Twins went smoothly. I like how they use text to know when your technician is on their way, status of the job and when they are finished. They stick to schedule as well. Very happy with them and would highly recommend.

The gutter system I have consist of 2 long gutters each about 50' long on the North and South side of the house ... nothing complicated. 11/4/25 - Called Gutter Twins to get a quote. I should have listen to my head when the red flags started to go up. First, they demanded a 30% down payment, second, they said it would take two weeks to get to me. Nonetheless, I ignored my inner instincts and approved Job Number 3636 with the stipulation they try to see me as soon as possible since the North gutter is completely blocked and when it rains I get a 3' long waterfall running down the side of the building. 11/6/25 - They sent me a receipts showing they took out $114.75 from my credit card. (Exhibit 1) 11/6/25 - Received an email stating they had placed me on the schedule for 'Monday, November 10, 2025 arriving between 9:30 am and 10:30 am'. (Exhibit 2) 11/10/25 - Come Noon and no one showed up. I called their office and was first told they were delayed but would get to see me today. 3:00 pm, called the office again, this time they said the crew was having trouble finding my location but would get to me as soon as they figure out how to get to my house. This was utter nonsense. My address has 3 city locations that you can type in Google Map and find where I live. You can use Easton, Raubsville and Williams Township ... all will show up in google Map. They never showed up. Note I was the one calling them, they never called me to say they were not coming or delayed. 11/11/25 - Sent then screen shots of Google Map and my address, and a photo of my house. (Exhibit 3 and Exhibit 6) They sent an email saying I was schedule to get my gutters clean 'tomorrow'. 11/12/25 - Same thing, no one called and no one showed up. Now it is two days I've lost in earnings and time waiting for this company to come clean my gutters. 11/13/25 - In the morning received an email from Gutter Twins saying they were canceling the order (Exhibit 4). No explanation or reason for why they did not show up twice. Well I've had enough. Called Gutter Twin but no one picked up. Left a somewhat stern voice mail and demanded a refund of my deposit followed by an email (Exhibit 5). Completely irresponsible, have no sense of customer service, and definitely unprofessional. Stay Away! Go to Google Review to see Exhibits. Yelps does not let you download documents pr photos.

On August 25th my neighbors had their roof done by Banes. We live in a twin (important info)…read more During the day and a half of the project my entire front yard was covered in their supples and tools. This also included a lawn sign that was several feet over he property line into our yard. Upon completion of the project (after "clean up") we found pieces of shingles and debris all over our yard. We have two dogs and one attempted to eat a shingle before we realized they were in our yard. I figured I would just let it go. Yesterday 9/21, I went up to our attic. I had not been up there since before the 8/25 project. As I begin walking up our steps I see pieces of wood and debris on the stairs. I was confused but assumed it was just dust from the banging of the project next door. As I turn the corner into my attic, I was shocked to find several more larger pieces of wood and much much more debris. Including large nails. Shocked, I went over to see where they came from. As I approached I could clearly hear the outside, as if a window was open. I look up along the wall I share with my neighbor to find that wooden beams in OUR attic had been haphazardly ripped out and our ceiling was replaced with something. I did not know what at the time. In that moment I was just shocked but so pissed. Our roof/ceiling was tampered with and worked on without any permission. OUR HOME. OUR PROPERTY. We did not sign anything. We did not see a contract. We did not know this had happened. The wood was just literally ripped out, and there was evidence of this very clearly on our ceiling and our floor. What if that was our bedroom? The roofers did not know what they were cutting into and could have easily began cutting into our room. According to Tom Banes Jr. "We could throw what if's around BUT....". But what? WHEN (not IF) we go to sell our home, that attic ceiling is going to look horrible the way the wood is ripped out unless Banes fixes it properly. I call immediately (10:18 am) and speak with Jean. I was told "the person I need to speak with is in a meeting and he will call me back". 1:03 pm rolls around and I call back. I should not have waited that long as it was an urgent situation that we needed resolved. From our perspective, this was serious. We had no clue what was going on with our roof. Jean repeats that "they are busy so just wait for a call back". I told her "no thank you, please go get someone that I can speak to now as I should not have been waiting 3 hours, and I will not continue to wait". She then says again "they are in meetings all day out of the office", so I asked for the contact number of whoever "they" are. She gives me the number to Tom Banes Jr. I begin to thank her and ask her to please relay that I called again, but I will be calling Tom Jr as well. Before I could finish my sentence she hangs up on me. I guess because I am not a paying customer I do not deserve her respect and professionalism. Not the way to do business, my friend. Tom Jr and I schedule a meeting for him to come out at 2:30 pm to take a look at our attic. He arrives right on time and we head up. He explains it is a ridge vent and "it will only benefit us as it adds ventilation to our space". Ok, fair. Great, even! However, we did not give permission for this to occur. We did not sign anything. We had no clue that they touched our roof. I asked why we were not asked for permission or notified that they were literally going to be cutting into our roof and ripping out our ceiling and Tom Jr nonchalantly said "usually the neighbors communicate that". Not a good answer. During this conversation there was no type of apology for the lack of communication. There was no type of accountability taken for this. At this point we are just angry that we were not informed that our roof and ceiling would be ripped out. Tom Jr said "we have been in business for 71 years and we did not get here by blowing smoke up peoples asses". At this point, I wonder how you got here, because this is unethical. Tom Sr, please call me to resolve properly.

I contacted them to…read moreconstruct an interior PA blue stone pad for my new wood stove and also to install stone veneer on two of the walls. Andrew and Steve are not just stone masons and have excellent skills in both interior and exterior construction that comes in handy when the unforeseen glitch pops up. For example they were able to reinforce the floor to support the very heavy weight of the pad and stove. While working in the basement on the floor reinforcement, Andrew noticed that there was a bump in the basement concrete floor that I lamented had been tripping me every time I did the laundry. Without hesitation, he went to his truck for some tools and remedied that rather large bump at no additional charge. Steve is an artisan, and created a real show piece backdrop to the Vermont castings red stove. The pattern and color variation he put forth is truly amazing and far exceeded my expectations. There was one stone that I felt was a little off in color, and they had no pushback, and were completely open to replacing it albeit while the stone had not fully set, but it was obvious their goal was 100% customer satisfaction. The cuts for outlets, windows, and ceilings were flawless and the mortar joints between stones was applied perfectly. I learned that Andrew is a 2nd generation mason, and he and Steve had been training under his dad since they were kids. I had to travel out of town, and had no worries leaving them the keys to finish the job. They are great communicators and completely trust-worthy. When icy cold rain was forecast Andrew called the night before to alert me of the threatening weather and left it that he would revisit the workday in the morning. He called bright and early to "ASK" if we could postpone a day as he would be cutting the stone and mixing mortar outside. I of course agreed. They also coordinated with the stove installers to help wrangle the very heavy stove pad onto the frame they had built. Andrew and Steve are team players and also a great team, with complimentary skills and eyes that truly ensures a beautiful job. They cleaned up every day and left the job, spotless with no debris. They have my highest recommendation and can handle any masonry job at hand. 6 Stars out of 5!!!!!
