His work speaks for itself: solid, clean, and reliable. Second project: I still had high humidity in the basement, so Elliot suggested and installed a whole-house dehumidifier (AprilAire E100). He connected it directly to the French drain system, so I no longer have to worry about emptying water or dealing with moisture. We had a mystery wall that needed to be removed. It's been super hard to find companies we trust to not only give us a fair price but also do the work correctly. Both instances they did a spectacular job. They were very responsive even after the work was finished. If we had questions we would have a response same day. Our most recent job was finished Friday and Steve was emailing us Saturday to make sure everything went well. The team left everything super clean too. I really expected at least a little mess! Especially since the new basement is finished and carpeted. Anyway I don't think we will ever stray from using this company while we are home owners. Call and ask for a quote! Montgomery is known to be a busy street with lots of road work in the morning, so you should plan ahead to leave earlier rather than put everyone on the road in danger because you're late or maybe just because you're impatient. I have no way of knowing if that person works for the business or just supports the business, but either way it should be known that it's not a great idea to promote a business on the same car that you use to aggressively cut people off.

When I contacted the company to get an estimate for the work, I thought I would be scheduling an appointment considering the company is 10 miles from my home. Closeby in the contractor world considering they serve Horsham and a few other local towns in the area. I spoke with Christy on November 2nd and discussed the work that I needed. A built-in wall cabinet needed to have some shelves replaced as well as the fascia and molding pieces. In addition the surrounding drywall and insulation needed to be replaced. Christy asked if I could send pictures of the area in question so they can get me a quote. I was immediately skeptical! During Covid I would expect this answer, but in 2023, it didn't make sense! Ok, I take pics and text them over to Christy before 12:30 PM on November 2nd. When we spoke, she also told me they could get me a quote in two days. Today is November 8th and since I had not received a quote, I sent a text to Christy asking....where is my quote. Then I called the office where I was rolled to voicemail. I left a message and moved on to other business. Kevin called me back and left a message saying, "That they couldn't help me and he was sorry that he did not call me sooner. It was his fault! Call back with questions!" I returned his call and he gave me the explanation that "They don't do any rehab carpentry or custom carpentry work. If you have something to assemble from Home Depot or Ikea, we could do that. What you need is a custom carpenter, that is not what we do." IT SAYS YOU DO CUSTOM CARPENTRY WORK ON YOUR WEBSITE!! It lists the following: You name it, we build it! Custom Trim Crown Molding Custom Woodwork Shiplap Railings & Staircases Wainscoting Wall Panelling Custom Lighting AM I CRAZY?! My first clue should have been the quote from pictures and not actually being hands on to survey the work. I called Groundworks, who came out with their state of the art equipment, found out where the problem areas are, and gave a quote to fix it. Although it'll take a while to be able to afford the cost of fixing the house's foundation, I was able to have them fix the front porch since it is connected to the roof. They did a great job with leveling it, and even explaining to me what they are doing. All in all, I am quite impressed with Groundworks, and will look forward to figuring out a way to be able to afford to get the house's foundation fixed.

Over 3 months and still no action or effort by them to fix their destruction from a simple (failed) garage floor lift. They are refusing to fix the damage they caused to my floor pool AND foundation. They are forcing me to sue them for the simple matter of recovering damages they caused. *Garage floor cracked into 5 pieces *Pool squares too low (already sinking)/2"caulk filling a gap they left / lifted some too high *Foundation crack from garage lift *interior basement view of crack in foundation. Buyer beware, they will take your money, damage your home, and walk.
