What an amazing time!!!! The staff here at Premier is amazing. Their so patient. They always answer all of my questions. They always make sure I am geared up properly before going out to the range. While at the range I was able to gain great advice on form and grip. The staff here are so knowledgeable. I am looking forward to signing up for a few classes. I went for my CCW range time course. The instructors were great the course was great and I now have my CHL. Very nice range!

I booked a last-minute class here early March 2020 and the process of purchasing online was seamless. Attended the CCW course that is required for CCW application in the state of Ohio. I ended up arriving late and by late, I mean at 9am on the dot when the class started. The class started one hour before the general business opened. A couple others and I ended up waiting outside for a few minutes until a staff member walked by and opened the front doors. After walking in late while others were already seated the instructor had to display some level of authority by making the late arrives get up and move from whatever seat we were in to the first row in the front of the class. Ok, be that guy. The remainder of the course was informative and engaging. For it to be eight hours, they did a good job in breaking up the content and scheduling the breaks/lunch. Boxed lunches were provided and there is a dedicated space for breaks including tables, TV, vending machines etc. The cost of the course seemed to be a value given the time, lunch provided and gun rental and ammo and limited range time which was provided. (Just compared to the cost of gun rental, ammo purchase and range time). The owner introduced himself and handed the certificate of course completions at the end as he must sign the doc. This place is bright (well lit), clean looking and spacious. Range/Lanes are split into two sides which both have a safety attendant. I have since returned a few times for range time. They offer memberships which I am not signed up for at this time. Maybe once the cost of ammo returns to normal. read more

Very disappointed in this range. Not one staff member wears a mask during covid-19. This is not a political issue but a science based issue. These people are too ignorant to comprehend basic information or just too dumb to read. Too foolish to obey laws and common sense. Sad they do not think enough of customers to wear masks. The best range I had been to in the Cincinnati area. Even though I have been to other ranges in the area I was impressed with the treatment I received at premier. Even though the work I had done on my firearms was minor and did not make them much money they made it a priority and even worked on it even though I didn't make an appointment for a service where they would normally ask someone to leave their firearms. Unlike the other "target" range near them their facility was clean modern and very well-kept. Regardless of your experience level or firearms knowledge they are more than happy to explain things and make sure you understand at whatever level you are on. I would highly recommend Premier to both the experience shooter and the person who is trying firearms for the first time. I'm a firearm enthusiast. I shoot often, I purchase firearms often, and I always look for deals. My low star review has nothing to do with the quality of this store, or the services. The employees are kind, and they carry high-quality firearms and accessories. The reason for my low rating is due to the prices. I know, just like all gun owners, that prices vary from store to store for the same firearm. However, this gun store/training facility has exorbitant prices for all firearms, and most acessories, but especially for used firearms. I've seen an M&P Shield 9mm USED here for $399. Not performance center, no upgrades, nothing. I carry this firearm, and I picked it up in Lebanon for $320 brand new. When I asked an employee why it was so expensive for a used 9mm shield, I was told "that's what they go for" in a very snide manner. I've noticed that most of their firearms are $50-$100 more than other local stores, and some accessories are way overpriced. I found an UZI knife/flashlight/pen combo gift set a few weeks ago here going for $60. I found the same thing on Amazon for $20. I like going here to look at things, but aside from ammo I'll take my accessory/firearm sales to Amazon or 22Three in Lebanon for better prices. If they fixed that issue with pricing, I'd purchase things there. But they've lost about 4 long gun/handgun purchases I've made in the past few months by not offering competitive prices. I don't know about the range price but I would be surprised if it was economical based on the prices of everything else. It's a good window shopping location, though. It's clean and they have a lot of stuff. read more

Came in on 12/05/2019 to buy a few items for the OPOTA course I'm doing this weekend. Walked in and an associate (don't know his name, but he has white with a short beard) was talking to a female employee. I was never greeted by either of the two associates. I was looking at holsters and after a few minutes the employee with the beard finally comes over and begrudgingly asks me if I need assistance. The employee acted as if he didn't want to be there and didn't want to help me out. I asked him one question and he answered it and proceeded to walk away. He did not ask me if I had anymore questions or if I needed help finding anything else. I have had great experiences in the past at Premier, but this time I did not. I rated them 2 stars because another employee that actually checked me out at the register was nice and friendly. read more

Stopped by Premier Shooting Range on my way in to work. They would not allow me to shoot because I had Wolf ammo. They claimed it would set their range on fire. Lol. I guess some people are stupid enough to believe it. The guy was clearly irked I was not renting their dirty earmuffs or paying 2 bucks for a piece of paper to shoot. So not paying double for their ammo was just too much for him. How dare I show up prepared? Bottom line I kept my 20 dollar range fee in my pocket. From now on I'll go to Shoot Point Blank. They do not expect to makes fools of their customers. read more

This place has a very nice, clean shooting range. They offer everything that you'd expect from a full service range and gun shop along with several classes. The big issue I have is their prices on firearms. I asked their price on a particular firearm and they quoted me $300 over another local gun shop. I would never buy a firearm from here, but definitely enjoy their range. read more

This range is completely RACIST! I attempted to purchase a membership, drove 25 minutes to the range, asked to test the range again and I was told they could get me in. When I arrived I was told they could not get me in and was given all sorts of excuses and run around. I was treated like I was not wanted and like a criminal. I completed my CCW class here in December or January with no issues even though the short, chubby bald head dude tried to withhold my certificate after the training on purpose until I had to ask for it. Today was different. I came a week prior to inquire about membership. After realizing I was not wanted in the store today I decided I was uncomfortable doing business. When I stated this the bald head chubby, overweight guy told me I was banned from the store. He then instructed a white woman to call the police on me. This dude then pulled a gun out on me as I exited the store. He became irate when I told him that his actions were racist as I exited the store peacefully. BOTTOMLINE they treated me poorly simply because I am a black man exercising his Constitutional right. I will never go here again. This place is racist and will call the police on you because you are black! read more

I've been to Premier several times. The first time was a fact finding expedition. Everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. Knowing absolutely nothing about guns, I decided to sign up for Handgun Foundations. This was all classroom instruction and was entertaining and informative. Phil and Jim are great! They are extremely experienced and seem to be truly passionate about teaching civilians. Later that week, I went back and purchased my own gun, a Glock 19, highly recommended during the class for its ease of use. Next, I signed up for Handguns 1. That was a fun class! A short time in the classroom reviewing some of the things from Foundations, then off to the range for some practice with live ammunition. This class focused on gun safety and moving around in a group setting, as well as, target practice. My daughter wants to become proficient, too, and attended a Foundations class last weekend. As soon as she catches up we'll be signing up for Handguns 2 and probably attending a few "ladies night 1/2 off range rates" together. This place is State of the Art! The staff is awesome! Very nice and eager to help. Whether you're new to shooting or an expert, the people here make you feel welcome and at no time did I feel unsafe. There was an ACTIVE Range Officer on duty at all times and he was very helpful. I hadn't shot a gun since a left the Army 25 years ago and while it's like riding a bike, he saw some things I was doing wrong and offered some help. It was greatly appreciated and the adjustments he suggested, while awkward at first, were spot on and just what I needed. Wayne... thank you for the help and advice! The facility is spotless and had a good selection of guns, ammo, and accessories. Pricing was more than fair and they stock all kinds/grades of ammo (not just the cheap stuff). I would have no problem bringing my whole family here and I seriously can't say enough good things about this place. read more

Visited Premier on a Saturday and could not be happier with my experience. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. The place was very busy and they still took the time to work with me. They made sure I was comfortable and offered helpful tips throughout the time I was there. Extremely professional range, and high tech! I was impressed that in their range they have a computer system that allows you to move your target to a precise distance and displays that distance for you. The employees were extremely helpful and polite. It is a little bit more pricey than other range rates but I think there is real justification in their rates because you really do get what you pay for here. Another really good thing about this range is that if you get checked out with an instructor, they allow you to draw from a holster on the range. I really liked that the owner took the time to browse through the store and get to talk with his customers to get feedback on how they like the range and really interact with his business. This is a range where I am happy that I know who the owner is and feel comfortable talking to him like I was talking to a good friend. read more

My wife bought me a shooting package on Groupon. My daughter and I went today and had the best experience. The staff was super helpful and curtious. The groupon was accepted and they made it simple to use. The range is very new, clean, and user friendly. No complicated range brief, no " I'm the super instructor of the year " belittling everyone that walks in. The rangemaster was curtious and helped facilitate a very safe environment.
