My biggest issue is the fact that the amenities we pay for aren't available AND/or in stable condition. It takes a very long time to get repairs taken care of. I still have repairs that need to be completed from my initial inspection upon moving in. If I would get reimbursed, I'd make the repairs, myself, because I am tired of waiting. I just know that wouldn't happen. However, I really appreciate Mr. Harvey, a maintenance man in the complex, for being available to assist me. The fitness area is not in stable condition for use, which is a huge concern for myself because that's an important amenity for me. I am still recovering from an injury because a machine didn't work properly. We pay for pest control, and honestly, I spray and handle pest control on my own because I have a child who is terrified of bugs and I don't ever see pest control come through. I am almost ALWAYS at home and I haven't seen a maintenance person or a pest control company come in my apartment and this is a monthly charge. I figured 90 days was enough time to give everyone enough time to handle everything, but unfortunately, I guess it's not. On the bright side, it's a fairly safe environment, the neighbors are friendly, convenient location, and I appreciate the small events they have for the community. I'd give a 8/10 IF these issues were solved in a timely manner. Right now, it's a 3/10. Hopefully, that can change, soon.

After I requested a different apartment, I was finally placed in one that was in better shape, but it still wasn't perfect, because the fridge did not work and it took over a year to get a fridge that was working properly and the tub had a crack. Now that I've moved out, they're trying to charge me for normal wear and tear on the carpet--something that happens naturally over time and should be expected by any reasonable landlord. It's frustrating to be penalized on the way out when the standard they set upon move-in was so low. If you're considering living here, be prepared for poor maintenance and questionable management practices.

My boyfriend and I chose this as our first apartment together post-grad after visiting six complexes and touring The Dylan three times. Unfortunately, our experience has been overshadowed by an ongoing AC issue. We moved in June 2026 and submitted our first maintenance request days later. Since then, we have reported the same issue repeatedly, sometimes 2-3 times per week. Maintenance responds, but the fixes have consistently been temporary. We were eventually given a brand-new indoor AC unit and thought the problem was finally resolved, but on August 12, it stopped working properly again. Their temporary solution is a portable AC unit that can realistically cool only one room. I have a ferret who is my emotional support animal and needs to remain below 77°F, so I have to choose between keeping the portable AC near her or using it to cool the room I am in. I should not be paying this much in rent to come home after work or spend my weekends sweating inside my apartment. The portable unit also significantly increases our electricity usage. When the central AC works properly, we use around 13 kWh per day. When relying on the portable unit, usage jumps into the high 20s and can approach 30 kWh. After more than two months of repeated requests, a portable AC is not a permanent solution. Had we known this would be our experience, we would never have signed our lease, and we will not be renewing. Please proceed with caution when considering this community.

Dismal, disgusting apartment complex which has little to no maintenance and the bare minimum maintenance. Vicious dogs. No quiet hours. Neighbors scream and fight on a regular basis between 11pm - 4 am. Neighbors with domestic disturbances on a weekly basis. Have called the cops on numerous occasions because there is not camera surveillance or dependable on-site security. Run, run away. Do not sign a lease.
