A classmate sent me the link to OC projector Rentals in HB and yes they had a screen we could rent for $106 dollars. He suggested the framed screen and not the tripod because it was an outdoor event and it could get windy. Picked it up Friday morning, used it Saturday night and returned it Sunday morning. So worth it! Excellent service, easy payment online with credit card. The screen and frame were compact when folded and easy to haul in my little car. Jen did a great job helping to tune the fine details at our reception, and worked closely with the site coordinator to make sure we had everything we need. They also did a great job in helping us plan the day, providing us with itinerary options, and taking the time to make sure we had song choices for all of the important moments. They accommodated us in using the genres of music we typically enjoy and what type of feel we were going for for the event. As probably the best measure of the job that they did, our guests had a blast! Many remarked that ours was the best wedding that they had ever been to (seriously, from our 85 year old grandfather). I think it would be a good addition so that photographers can just bring their core equipment and not have to worry about studio equipment and to me a tripod is studio equipment. And actually a couple or so of tripods and dollies would be good! The area itself is in a plaza of businesses and warehouses and parking is in the front. The place is pretty clean and kept up from what I have experienced. Overall a good experience with some good equipment.
