I really enjoyed having Tony provide and run sound for my band at a smaller private event at Montage Laguna Beach last weekend! It was a pleasure communicating with him leading up to the event, and on the day-of-show we ended up ahead of schedule by the time we finished sound check - which is always a plus - and a testament to Tony's preparedness and familiarity with the gear he provides. After our sound check, Tony made sure all cables were cleanly run and hidden along the edges of the stage and properly gaff taped for safety and aesthetics - a professional touch that makes all the difference IMO. The equipment Tony provided was perfect for what we needed (a powered full-range PA system with dual subwoofers, floor monitors, and a full-sized weighted digital keyboard) and was all in perfectly-maintained, like-new condition. Tony cares about details, and it shows! When the show started, we discovered a buzzing issue that needed troubleshooting in between sets (turned out to be a bad cable) - and it was solved in a timely manner by all involved. Tony swapped the cable out in a flash. He also had a creative gear solution during sound check for my drummer's in-ear monitor feed, and even helped my backup singer rig up an iPhone clip on her microphone stand for lyrics to a few last-minute songs we decided to perform that night. Our ShakesBeer Festival production of "The Tempest" in Dana Point was a huge success this past week. Tony was hands on to make sure everything was perfect. Performing a play in the park has many challenges such as unlevel grass and expansive audience area that can cause sound problems, these were well taken care of to ensure we had everything we needed. I drove to Tustin from the Valley up in LA early on a Saturday morning to shoot a project and forgot my audio gear. I was totally hosed - bad move in front of the client.
