I was not trading in my Mustang mind you but buy a 2nd card. I was greeted by Robbie D. when I arrived at the dealership. His first two questions were service or sales department and if I had spoken with anybody yet. We spoke for a minute and I informed him that I say the car online and wanted to test drive it. With out hesitation we went inside to fill out the ID and insurance paperwork so I can drive the car. (all covid protocols were followed, and were throughout the whole encounter, great job on CF-FV BTW). Filled out a quick survey of what I was looking for in a car and then a few minutes later, keys in hand, I was off in the car Now due to the previously mention covid protocols, you drive the car alone. The salesman stays at the dealership. This I thought was great as I could hear the car and even taking the time to pull over to make sure ALL the buttons work. When I arrived back I mentioned that I would like to drive a non plug in hybrid version, boom keys were there and I was off again. Got back and the $$$ talk started. LONG story short, we by no fault of Mr. Ds we were unable to reach a deal. Great experience, never really felt pressured to make a rash decision. Overall I would go back to this place to see Robbie D for my next car buying venture. A dealer is only as good as its sales people and this place has a great one.

The salesman pointed to a different one, and said I should drive this one as it was in better condition. I drove it, and he was right. Unfortunately I am a Mazda fan, and not a VW person. The dealer said that in order to keep his prices low, they don't put much money into fixing up the car after they get them, or any money at all actually. They will look at a car, check to make sure it passes inspection, and then if it does, they will offer it for sale as it. They don't even bother taking it to Autobell for $15 and getting it washed and vacuumed, if that tells you anything. Some cars are good, some are not. Now the transfer case is leaking and they want money. He hasn't had this truck for more than 5 months in which one of those months the manager had the truck for 21 days.
