Awesome NC good ole'boys pushed me out of the road then a neighbor (sales mgr from Heister Chevy) who saw my issue rescued me with his car hauler. He referred me to In & Out Auto (James) came and did some work. It worked great when he left. Next Friday, I worked it out and ran to AutoZone for some parts, damn thing died on me at 55 & 401 intersection. Called James, he showed up in 20 minutes, got me running and got me home. The part arrived within the window he quoted (2-3 hours), was installed without fuss, and the final bill was reasonable. What stood out as much as the technical work: he flagged a slow coolant leak and a minor oil leak -- this is an older car, so neither was a shock -- but there was no pressure to pile on services. He showed me rough estimates so I'd have them when I'm ready and left the decisions to me. That kind of straightforward, no-upsell approach is rarer than it should be. The waiting area is a genuine plus: free wifi, a table big enough to work at, and a small fridge with complimentary drinks, large TV. My one suggestion would be to add a coffee in the AM. Also, the door to the reception currently reads "B". Might want to avoid any confusion with better signage. I was nothing but, respectful, transparent, and accountable with the two mechanics, paid to get two…read morecatalytic converters replaced and a transmission housing seal replaced. the catalytic converters was replaced good on the vehicle but, the transmission housing seal wasn't, it continued to leak. I asked about it and it wasn't the same seal that was took off (then why still install it and not tell me at that tiime?) I accepted responsibility for that and ordered the correct seal that was given to me by William. I was quoted $80-$100 for them to replace the seal with the correct one. Seal was ordered, the two came out replaced the incorrect one charged me $100 and it still leaked and had noticeable damage from banging. I communicated that to them, I got no response back for a week, so I requested $50 back since the problem wasn't fixed, still no answer. To make a long story short I took my vehicle to the dealership, I had to replace the seal again and the leak is no more and fixed. still haven't heard or received my $50 I requested from them.

I'm normally at Fuquay tire by 0930 and everytime the regular "front office crew" is not there recently and there is a younger gentleman running the desk, I get told they can't get to me at all on Friday for the oil change. Well, that is ironic considering all the other times I am there with the same situations, they take the truck back and I'm home NLT 1 pm. I usually go local for the oil change and then support a local business or two, but this is the second time in 6 months the young gentleman told me he couldn't get to me. This time had a helper "girlfriend" behind the desk hanging out which I've never seen before either. This is just not like Fuquay tire and their normal level of service. I went somewhere else because it needed to be done but it has me questioning if every time I recommend this store if I'm now making a mistake.
