It was such a pleasure to work with Marissa and her team. I did two weddings where I was a bridesmaids for both and in both cases she did such an amazing job with both my dresses. I got both my dresses hemmed since I'm pretty short 4'11, and for one of them she was able to put bra cups in one of the dresses and add volume as well as fix/remove the awkward boning structure that was attached to the dress. She even fixed the backing for one of the dress's and overall made it more cohesive. For both dresses, I thought it was fairly priced and the whole process was professional and picking up both dresses were done so in a timely manner. For any future projects I will definitely come back since it was such a great experience both times! I hate to leave this review, but I am genuinely really upset with the services. She is very good at what she does, however at one point she insisted my wedding dress did not need to be hemmed and shorter. I trusted her of course but on my wedding day, I tripped on it multiple times and it got incredibly dirty. It was very embarrassing and a lot of my guests were wondering why I didn't get it hemmed (even though I did go in to get it hemmed and left with no hem but other random alterations I didn't even want). I am very sorry but I would assume a professional would know if the dress needed to be hemmed and now it's too late, I really wanted it shorter and it didn't happen. I am very sorry to leave this. I don't think I could recommend Marissa enough!!! I had a Reformation dress that was just a little too big around the waist and the slit just a little too long. Marissa almost instantly replied with a quote when I sent a request. When it came to the day of the appointment, I had an emergency and couldn't make it. Marissa was super understanding and we rescheduled to the next day. The process was super simple! I put the dress on, explained my concerns, and Marissa went right to pinning the excess and making it fit nicely. The dress was a little more complicated than she had hoped, but she said it wasn't a big problem and didn't charge me an outrageous amount for it. She said it would be ready within 7-10 days, but she had an emergency order during that time which delayed it a little longer. She let me know and I appreciate the transparency! When it was ready, I tried the dress on and it fit perfectly!!! I couldn't have asked for a better tailor and even after having to deconstruct the dress, it looks exactly the same as when I bought it. Thank you Marissa!!! read more

I drove about 20 minutes for a scheduled appointment at 1 p.m. on a Saturday, just for her not to be there. I texted her and waited around for 20 minutes before leaving. She eventually texted me back that there was an attempted break in and there was a key locked in the main door. And she said she overlooked texting me about it. I saw several other people going in and out of the other business doors, so I don't know if it's just her main door? Either way, it was a total waste of time.
