I went to a chiropractor with some trepedation because I had a kink in my neck that was killing me and not going away. I did not want any radical jerking on my neck like I used to experience when I used chiropractors earlier in my life. Dr Bado reassured me there would be no radical jerking but rather used other modalities like a powerful massager and a device that pounded on my sorest points. It was reasonable and really work well to calm down the pain over the next couple of days. I am looking forward to seeing him again soon. read more

After I was told that Medicare was covering my adjustments, I moved forward with my treatments. Dr. Julie recommended I come in 3x a week which I did for the first 5 weeks or so, then I decided once a week would suffice. Thank God I reduced my visits because unbeknownst to me, they were also billing my private insurance knowing that they were out-of-network. I then get a bill from "Prescott Valley Chiropractic" stating that I owe over $500.00 because my secondary insurance didn't pay any additional. PV Chiropractic knew this from the get-go, but they still billed them. Now, they want me to pay. Note: All of my adjustments were exactly the SAME, but the charges range from $30, $35, $50, $55. I even received a bill from Dr. Bado (a partner chiropractor), he has never touched my back. Their billing is questionable. Medicare has now launched an investigation into their billing practices. read more

I am not used to this approach for chiropractic treatment. I have had physical therapy before, and it is a very friendly atmosphere. My husband Shane and I have been seeing Dr. Julie since before she opened the clinic at their current location. Shane has always been reluctant to go to any kind of doctor, but he was in terrible pain and needed to do something. He does flooring and his back and knees tended to go out. Dr. Julie was able to straighten him out and keep him working. Dr. Julie has a gentle, non-invasive approach and is wonderful if you have a fear of adjustments or brittleness in your bones. I started seeing them when I developed shooting pains down my leg and was having trouble walking. I am a dialysis patient and Type 1 diabetic on Medicare, and I was extremely happy to find out they accept Medicare now! I saw Dr. Bado, and he took an X-ray of my spine. At first I was disappointed that I wouldn't be adjusted until my X-ray was processed, but it was worth the wait. Dr. Bado and I set the return appointment to review my X-ray a couple days later and he showed me the calcification that had built up in my veins and arteries that was visible through the X-ray!!! I also lost the curve in my neck in an accident as a child, and they have a very gentle, non invasive traction area that helped restore the curve. Dr. Bado had a firm hands on technique (which I love, as the clicker thing tends to leave me feeling sore and bruised). In part because Dr. Julie opened the clinic, and later Dr. Bado partnered up with her, I am alive and thriving today! read more

I'm a patient at the Prescott Valley Chiropractic office. Both Dr. Julie and Dr. Bado are highly skilled and ready to help in any way. I was mowing on a hillside when a large, loose rock caused my brushmower to start to tip over. I successfully fought to keep it from turning over. When I got back up to the house and took a shower, I couldn't straighten up. My back would spasm and hurt real bad. I knew I threw my back out really bad, so I called Prescott Valley Chiropractic. They were able to fit me in to see Dr. Julie, she adjusted me and got me fixed up. I have been to chiropractors in the past that tell you to come back every day for a week or so, but NOT so with Prescott Valley Chiropractic. They don't do business that way when it's not needed. I was very impressed after my first visit to Prescott Valley Chiropractic. To start with, the waiting room was clean, spacious and had a well stocked magazine rack in case you should need to wait. However, during my visit there I didn't see anyone wait more then five minutes. In fact, most patients walked in and were taken straight back to get adjusted. The office staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Both girls were professional, accommodating and kind. One of them even went out of her way to give my children coloring books and crayons while I filled out paperwork. The consult we had with Dr. Terry was thorough and informative. He was great with both of my kids as this was their first time to a chiropractor. He adjusted my kids and addressed my concerns of earaches and misalignment from sports. When it came time for my adjustment there were toys for my kids to play with in a spacious adjustment room. Helped my husband somewhat, but treat patients like cattle. Gather in big room, get adjusted, leave. No one asks "how are you feeling", "any more pain", nothing. He has to ask every time if they want to see him again. The pain did subside after a few weeks and things are getting better, but paying this much money and having to do all the insurance billing ourselves is just not worth it. read more

The receptionist was really nice when I called to get an appointment. She told me that an adjustment would be $50. A little high priced, but worth it to me to get some sort of relief. But, as soon as I met the actual chiropractor, everything went south from there. I must also say that if you are worried about Covid, steer clear from this place. Not one employee was wearing a mask and the first thing that Kevin (chiropractor) said to me was that I shouldn't worry because, he has already had Covid. Then he precedes to sit down with a price sheet, to go over in my consultation ($70 additional). Then tells me that he wants to do xrays ($90 additional). Again, I just wanted to get a little relief, so at that point, I was going to go with it. Then he tells me that he will do the xrays and I would have to come in the next day to get adjusted. I was floored! All I wanted was a $50 adjustment and now it seems like I am wrapped up in a used car lease! I told him that I need an adjustment today and the adjustment was the most pathetic attempt I have ever seen. So much as to his back cracking and he tried to pass that off as my back cracking. He then decided to knock off the price of the consultation ($70). Which in my mind, I'm thinking, why are you putting a price on something that you can just wipe off, or not. Anyway, $140 later, no relief, very passed off and a chance that I was exposed to Covid. This business should be shut down, bunch of Crooks!!! The receptionist were very nice! read more
