This place is a hidden gem on the Northwest side of Norman. I have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. They have exceptional service and make every customer feel welcome. Their wide selection of coffees and teas will not disappoint. My favorite is all of their dairy-free milk choices! We have also been here for a glass of wine in the evening, and again had a wonderful experience. They have a ton of different alcohol options and if you try something you like, you can just pop next door and buy some to take home with you. Their cheese selection as well as all of their "grocery" items are top notch. Press and Plow has exceptional food, atmosphere, and service. Maybe my own expectation were wrong going into this place... The description said "Breakfast and Brunch". I thought I would be able to order a plate of food. Um... no. This us a coffee shop with some pre-made sandwiches. They have a refrigerator that is supposed to have salads, but the lady ahead of me snagged the last one. The three remaining wrapped breakfast sandwiches (with egg) were on the counter... not refrigerated. We were there around 4pm. I wondered how long they had been out... they did not look appealing. My kid ordered a latte. It was just shy of $5.50. We took it to go. Although my kid liked the cinnamon flavored drink very much, we will not be going back. We did not explore beyond the "restaurant" area. There seemed to be a boutique area and a liquor store area that was also part of this business. Note - there was a cool chalkboard informational that listed different coffee drinks. My 11 year old was quite fascinated. read more

We've been to the restaurant twice and both times the wait has been ridiculously long after being seated. We've had to ask for assistance both times. Seems there's communication issues between staff. Today waited over 30 mins for drinks and coffee... finally left without them. Food and drinks is delicious if you're willing to put up with being ignored. read more

My goodness!! Arrived after our daughter's graduation this morning and after a slight misunderstanding of the reservation system, these folks did everything in their power to get a group of six seated in a timely manner. Every one of the staff members were beyond courteous and if this place existed in San Antonio, we'd visit weekly. The food was EXCELLENT...fresh ingredients, beautifully presented and delicious. Had a lavender tea with almond milk here. Pleasantly surprised by how good it was, not overly sweet or overpowering with the floral notes. A little pricey but worth the alternative flavor options here. The overall feel is very old world wine cellar and is swanky enough for a wine date in the evening (order the charcuterie board, always less than 15$) or a nice rainy morning spot to read a book. read more

This is an exceptional coffee bistro and wine bar!! Tanner was so amazingly friendly, explaining that a children's book being sold there was by local artisans and regulars at the shop. I purchased ten copies! Oh, and the coffee was outstanding! I'll be back! read more

Went here for after Fathers Day Brunch drinks, got seated and waited 10+ mins before a waiter came to help us. Ordered a couple drinks and coffee, waited another 30 mins before we decided to get up and leave. Seems the place is ran by a bunch of hipster doofuses who are entitled to their "good drinks and food". Won't come here again and I advise you stay away if you don't want to be ignored read more

I ordered their smoked salmon salad and their Italian board. I enjoyed them both. The salad had a lot of spinach but other than that it was delicious. The Italian board and a great variety and the ham and was wonderful. Wish I had received more jam, though. Great place! read more

The huevos rancheros were so good! It was super busy when we went, around 10:45 Saturday morning and there isn't a place to wait for seating. Luckily there were open spots at the bar and we sat there and ate. The staff is really friendly and we enjoyed our time in the restaurant. read more

Came in yesterday for the first time to eat, grab some coffee and study. Ended up staying a little over 3 hours and the staff was absolutely wonderful. The coffee was bomb, but the food I tried wasn't too good. I was in for dinner and tried the French onion and grilled chz. Both sandwiches were absolutely too greasy to finish, but still had good flavor. I ended up throwing all of it up just because my stomach can't handle too much oil. They served chips with the sandwiches as well and those were very good but very oily. I'd recommend the coffee to anyone, but the food is for those without a sensitive stomach. read more

A wonderful little coffee nook! It was my first time coming there and short to say it won't be my last! My server Sydney was the most wonderful person ever. Again it was my first time and she did a great job at answering any questions i had and super helpful at recommending/ describing things. She was very friendly and always made sure we were taken care of. The coffee here was amazing, same price as starbucks but definitely better quality. The only reason this place didn't get five stars is because the food here was good but super small portions. Over all would come back! read more

While I give the decor and vibe a solid 5 stars, I was just unimpressed with the latte as was my husband. And for paying a hefty $4.50, it should have wowed me. First off, the latte presentation was decent. However, the temperature was lukewarm at best. I'm pretty sure they need a better cup warmer and a little more heat in the product. I usually only put a small amt of sugar in my latte. Usually the milk provides enough sweetness for me. They have raw sugar cubes and it took forever to melt-and I had to use 2 to cut the bitterness I was experiencing... I'm not sure what it is, but both my husband and I felt the latte left an unpleasant heavy and bitter aftertaste and mouthfeel that we normally don't experience with lattes (and I'm not comparing this to Starbucks). We travel a lot and frequently visit local coffee shops over any chain. The aftertaste has continued to linger over 30 mins now and I'm not loving it. So, this place has potential to be a great little gem but perhaps needs to reevaluate the quality of their expensive latte (at least $0.75 more than others in this area). read more

This was our first visit and we will be back! We had the Blueberry pancakes and the Press and Plow Breakfast along with a cinnamon roll cappuccino and a mimosa. Everything was fantastic! I've tried to order food online here twice and both times it's been a disaster! The first time they forgot part of our order so after getting home we had to go back. I figured that happens so I wanted to give them another chance since I really want to like this place. This time our order was confirmed, but when my husband went to pick it up, the girl went to her iPad typed in something and said, "no, that order has been cancelled". (I did not cancel our order and I did not receive any notification that the restaurant had cancelled our order). Instead of trying to find out what we had ordered and offering to fulfill our order quickly, they basically just said that they aren't doing online orders on the weekend since they are too busy (the restaurant wasn't even half full at the time he was in there). When I called the restaurant (since my order was still showing to be in process and I had not received any refund) the manager was less than helpful. I understand things happen, but unfortunately they didn't even try to make it right, so we ended up enjoying a Starbucks breakfast for Mother's Day. read more

The hot chocolate here is my favorite! You could say I'm a regular with a much as I've frequented this establishment. Since the reopening after a brief shutdown due to COVID I've been highly disappointed in the service. I've gone in multiple times and have waited 15+ minutes for a hot chocolate. And sometimes it's not even made correctly. I have experienced one person behind the counter who is responsible for making all the drinks, take all the orders, and answer the phone. The manager, Nancy, is rarely chipper and cheery and never makes conversation to get to know her customers. The wait staff is following her lead and it shows. She seems very inconvenienced when her employees ask for help. Today I waited 20 minutes for my hot chocolate which came out about the same time my breakfast did. The waiter only put one order in and forgot to put my friends order in completely. If you have time to spare and aren't looking for great service but enjoy great food and great hot chocolate you should try this place out! read more

I've gone here many times and had a good experience but today was awful. Very unprofessional. Party of 3 plus 18 month old. We were told 30 minute wait. I asked to have us placed on wait list for inside or outside table. The lady took our name and number and said she will call us. We went outside and walked around a bit to keep our toddler busy. After 30 minutes I went up to the counter to order coffee and check on wait. A table just opened outside so we asked about it. The waiter said he would check. In the meantime someone who was behind us went and sat at the table outside. When I asked the waiter about this he said we would check on it then never came back to us. Instead he went off to serve other customers. By that time my baby was tired and my husband irritated so we left. I was boiling. I called the manager and complained. She said she thought we only wanted an inside table. Her mistake. Not sure if we will return. read more
