We were really thrilled to see a locally owned coffee spot open in this area! I had some time to head in and grab some lattes, and delicious pastries. In the past, we've had Presta and it's been rich and delicious. This time, it was just as tasty as before. We enjoyed a hot latte and a cinnamon latte both, fantastic. The service was great and our barista answered my questions about gluten-free options. Additionally, they have Barrio breads (they sell out fast), and a fantastic selection of merchandise. I plan to go in and buy a hat and super cute insulated mug. Both pastries were delicious, including the gluten-free scone, which was light and flavorful. Saturday am neighbor friend wanted to have coffee & scone so I suggested trying the local Presta coffee in former Starbucks s end of mall near fiame pizza . It was quiet luckily about 930 am but became more active later . The coffee & holdens bakery homemade blueberry pop-tart recommended both high quality . Many other choices but no scones . Local favorite Barrio bread is available & sold on Tuesday,Thursday, & Saturday (all gone sat am or not delivered yet ? To consider call first for bread?) . The renovation of the former Starbucks was modern ,open, & clean with many seating spaces inside & out giving some privacy for coffee & conversation . The staff of three friendly ,fun,& efficient. Just stopped by Presta Coffee on Sunrise! great spot. Chill vibes, fast, and super friendly. They also had Houlden's Rise Above options which was a nice surprise. I grabbed a canned cold brew since I was on the go and a pop tart. both were fantastic. Fair warning though... maybe don't eat the pop tart over your lap, super flaky (in a good way), just messy. This location of Presta is large, clean and has a nice modern esthetic. We stopped in to stock up on coffee beans. They had small bags as well as larger ones of their flagship types. I bought a shirt and they were great about letting me try it on in the bathroom. There's plenty of parking in the area. If you buy a bag of coffee you get a free drip coffee with it, so go in to the store with that in mind. They have the best coffee in AZ, no contest. read more

Stopped by early in the morning and it was already pretty busy, but they still managed to get my drink out in about 8 minutes , impressive for the rush! I ordered the Strawberry Matcha based on the cashier's recommendation. It was super creamy with a delicious fruity twist, and you could tell the matcha was good quality. It did lean on the sweeter side, and unfortunately it wasn't very hot by the time I got it. I also forgot to ask if they could adjust the sweetness (which I usually prefer), so that's on me. They offer a nice selection of pastries and even have Barrio Bread available, which is a great touch. The location is convenient, the service was friendly, and the decor is absolutely adorable. I've been to other locations of Presta and always left happy. I was excited to see they took over the Starbucks location in the Safeway anchored center at Swan and Sunrise. Located at the southern end of the center past Fiamne pizza. Cute redesign. My Cortado was perfect. Nice servers. read more

I love that each of the Presta locations has its own uniqueness while remaining in line with the Presta name. This was a simple stop in to check out the new location and it was very enjoyable. This was my first time at a Presta Coffee place and Iʻm glad to have found it. They are in the spot previously held by a Starbucks but it has been remodeled and is larger with a large outside seating area as well. The interior was very clean. the menu is on signs above the counter in large enough print to read it. They had some loaves of bread including vegan bread from Houldens Bakery. the people working there were very nice and friendly. They have some cold drinks and some merch. Love to see that the best coffee shop in Tucson has another location in an area that could use more great coffee! Presta is filling a gap that has existed in this part of town for a long time, quality coffee drinks made well from a locally owned spot. They also have Houlden's pastries and Barrio Bread which is great. Their team was super friendly as the person in front of us tried to navigate the menu on what seemed like one of their first visits. This corner of town was in significant need of a great coffee shop. I was so excited to learn that Presta was moving in and had to stop by during their opening week. The space is super cute and clean. They have a small indoor dining area and a nice covered front patio. Their sign says they open 7am-4pm daily. Their drinks are delicious and service is friendly. I'm not really a coffee person but had their oat milk peppermint hot chocolate and peppermint matcha latte. The matcha is excellent. Crisp and vegetal. Love that they also carry Houlden's vegan pastries. This will definitely be one of our regular coffee shops. read more

My husband and I made a special trip down to Tucson from Phoenix to go check out Presta Coffee! I've tried their beans at a local coffee shop in Mesa, but I wanted to get the full experience in person. We decided to stop at their newest location because I saw they had pour over as an option and I wanted to try a few different coffees to see if I could find a new bean that I liked. So glad I went this route!! The baristas were so kind and helpful in helping me pick a few coffees to order. The shop was also cozy, clean, and modern. It was a bonus seeing their pour over machine in action. Their presentation of the pour overs is so impressive. It was definitely worth the 2 1/2 hour trip!! As a Presta customer since their early days as Stella Coffee at the Mercado San Agustin before they completely rebranding into Presta, I am happy to see them grow and even happier to see them expand into a neighborhood that has been lacking a locally owned coffee shop for a long time. Personally, I'm a fan of the new space. They offer patio and indoor seating. We went on a weekend when it wasn't particularly busy, so there was plenty of seating inside and out. Additionally, they still had some pastries, which was great because by 1pm on a weekend or anyday, Presta on 1st ave is totally sold out! The baristas were super nice and made our drinks just right. Pastries are from Houlden's vegan bakery. They also sell loaves of Barrio bread, and I saw a little fridge with chia pudding/parfaits, small bottles of pellegrino and other soft beverages. The menu has a variety of options from classic coffee drinks (latte, cappuccino, cortado) to flavored specials like Strawberry Lattes, etc. Their specials rotate each month and the baristas get creative with them! The ambience of this place is out of this world. I felt so much love just walking in to get a quick coffee. I decided on just a straight black coffee and it didn't disappoint. The barista recommended their special blend of the day and I'm glad I got to try it. I snapped a picture of the specials they have going on this month and I will definitely come back when I have a coffee, sweet tooth to try one of their specialty cups. This is such a beautiful coffee shop. I came here on a busy Monday morning and the staff was on top of everything and super friendly. I didn't wait long for my coffee and pastry and there was plenty of seating available. I think their prices are fair, too. Tried their salted caramel latte on the seasonal menu and it was delicious. Love Presta! New location is modern, chic with a hint of western flare and colors. Absolutely love the vibe. The menu has a wide variety of flavors including creations I haven't seen at any other coffee shops (I got the strawberry latte and my friend got the Salted Caramel Brownie latte). Ordered both of the espressos (blend & finca milan) which were served with small glasses of sparking water. The service was exceptional and their two baristas were very kind, knowledgeable and talented. The ambiance was immaculate. The outside seating was cute and the cafe itself was warm and inviting. The merch wall was easy to peruse and the selection was great. I was going to come in to pick up their gesha but it wasn't in the cards (luckily I could order it online and I'm excited to share their coffee with my fellow baristas). Finca Milan was such a pretty and clean espresso shot. The watermelon jolly rancher tasting note was extremely well pronounced and the acidity was similar to kiwi and I was getting a hint of finger-lime. If you've never experienced coffee tasting notes I highly recommend coming in and having an espresso here--the blend is a more "coffee" dominant espresso so have that if that's what's you're looking for. My partner got one of the flavored drinks (iced) she said it was good! Thanks again to the great baristas pulling shots that morning. read more

This morning I inquired about a latte and learned that hot lattes only come in one size -12oz- and that their machines will only dispense double shots. The shop's main seating area contains something like 20 tiny plastic kid chairs wedged in extremely close together. The other area is hard bench seating in a "waiting room" configuration. Some could find this "airy and modern," but I found it cheap and uninviting, a space clearly saying "Please leave." Accordingly, the wife and I took our lukewarm coffees to go. The people there were nice, so I hope they make the easy adjustments to the "meh experience" in this newly opened location. read more
