My boyfriend and I tried this location for the first time this week, we already knew the coffee was going to be delicious, but the service was amazing the barista was so kind and had amazing hair. The barista ensured we had time to look at the menu and was very patient while we ordered. Even though I have had da aya coffee before I highly recommend this location. It's in the la encantada apartment complex so it's a little tricky to find but it's a great spot. You can even sit outside and take a look at the beautiful mountains. Drinks we tried: Holiday drink egg nog latte, not too sweet just seeet enough, it was smooth and very tasty. I got a 10oz and wished I would of gotten a larger drink. 16oz vanilla iced latte with macadamia nut milk. For my taste buds it was a bit bitter and I would of preferred the drink hot rather than iced just because I think the milk would of made a difference but my boyfriend loved his drink and said he would get it again!! I'm usually a tea drinker but I was craving some iced coffee. I ordered their cold brew. BEWARE IT'S VERY VERY STRONG!! I don't want to write a bad review coz I really don't know much about coffee and don't drink enough to know what true good coffee is. It sure tasted good (I like it bitter and no acidic) especially with the muffin I ordered. I love the balance of sweet muffin and bitter coffee. But after a while, I started feeling sick with all the symptoms you find when you Google "caffeine intoxication". Now if it was just me I would have just concluded my body is not used to coffee, but my bf who drinks coffee every day felt the same. Again, I don't mean to talk smack about the business and maybe cold brew is supposed to be strong? I'm sure other coffees are good just like a lot of reviews say. But I'm just writing this to let people like me know. Other than that, service was good. A guy was working alone but he was efficient. The place is cute. I am down in Oro Valley helping my elderly disabled mother out who lives in Encantada apartments which are connected to this coffee shop. Well she had some groceries delivered and the shopper said they left the groceries on the table out side Savaya coffee shop. Well they weren't there, but there was a man working in the coffee shop so I opened the door to ask him if any groceries were delivered. I was thinking possibly the shopper put it on the tables in the shop. The man in the coffee shop flipped out and started yelling at me! I've never been talked to so rude in my life and felt threatened by him and scared! He screamed at me to get out! And "what makes you think you can enter this building! We're closed!" The door was not locked fyi. He was SO mean and rude! He 100% should be fired for speaking to someone like that. He was older man in 40-50's, heavy set & kind of bald. I'll be going in tomorrow to speak to the manager as well. read more

We love this Savaya location. They have a great patio and good service. I recently had to switch to nondairy milk for my latte, and the brand they use for oat milk is just not good. I get oat milk at other coffee shops around town and it is so much better. I may have to switch coffee shops if they can't make a change, which will be a big disappointment. read more

It's a little hard to find but worth the trip. When going south on Oracle, take the second entrance at the apartment complex, there is a sign that says Savaya Coffee in green. What I like about this coffee shop is the atmosphere. Nice little covered patio area, and the inside is nice and relaxing. Great views of the mountains too. I feel like they could use another table and maybe another barstool by the window, but otherwise very nice. As far as I know the coffee is organic. There are some interesting options like macadamia milk, and they even have a fit frappe that is keto. Check them out if you're in the area! read more

If you ever find yourself in Tucson wanting a great view and an excellent cup of coffee this is the spot. I loved their service and were super helpful no matter who was manning the bar to answer questions and give advice. We had a bit of a hard time finding the spot he first time because it is in an apartment complex. But they have great signs and if you follow them you will find your way. I got a coffee latte with oat milk which was spectacular. Then we saw they had samples of a vegan fruit sorbet type dessert and tried that too. Yum! I found a nice shady spot outside to sit and enjoy the view as well as our beverages. We returned over and over during our stay and every time we had a great experience. Science coffee (Yama cold drip) is a summer highlight, and lattes made with oat milk are our favorites for the winter. Throughout the year, a variety of pastries are available. Our favorite is pumpkin loaf with chocolate chips. It's moist with a balance of spicy (like pumpkin pie) and sweet. We usually drop by in the morning and haven't had the chance to try the vegan soft-serve yet, but we will do that soon. The interior of the store is nice and clean, and the outside patio has a nice view. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because some morning 'regulars' make borderline inappropriate comments to the barista. It's happened more than once, and it makes me uncomfortable sitting inside the store. Last time they were there, I took my order to go. read more

Still a great fan of Savaya and everything they do, but in reviewing what it takes to get 5 stars this location falls one star short. There are a couple of reasons, but the one that affects me most is the WiFi, which is protected (great) and almost always works when there are few people there. However it often does not work very well and can only take a handful of connections before things start to break down. So read my previous review and that all stands. But for a 5 star experience for any business that I visit, everything must run well. read more

This place served me a latte with almond milk that was almost unpalatable and had the nerve to charge $5.50 We tried the double chocolate banana bread, and the blueberry lemon cake. Both were drive and bland. $14 for a latte, two pastries and a double shot of espresso. Totally underwhelming experience. We certainly won't be back. This location has vegan/non-dairy soft serve ice cream! I know of NO other place in Southern Arizona to get creamy non-dairy soft serve (vs sorbet/fruit flavors) so this is really special. Friendly staff greeted me and even apologized that she was not at the counter when I entered the shop. Sidney helped me pick out something and then was quite patient as I figured out how to use Apple Pay for the first time. This location is a little hard to spot because it's tucked into an apartment complex. I imagine during busy hours it might be hard to get a parking space.
