Since my dad retired, and moved to Florida, my brothers and I decided that we would alternate holidays to go down to visit. This year, we rented this home to spend Thanksgiving with my dad and his wife. This home is close to I-4, and the theme parks. We didn't partake in any theme parks because being with family, in that nice home was enough. The home we rented had 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, dining room, living room, kitchen with an island, a breakfast nook, laundry room, garage that was converted into a game room, den, and patio with a pool. They are heated and the temperature was perfect. There is a game room and our kids enjoy that everyday. The house has plenty of board games as well. The layout of the house is very nice as well. We have stayed in two houses in Champions Gate, and one in Reunion most recently. There have never been any issues with these homes.The neighborhoods have great amenities and are situated close to all the theme parks. The staff is always very helpful with any questions about the houses. They get back to us very quickly. This time, we wanted to add late checkout during our stay, and Kat was super helpful adding this option to our booking. She is happy to reply to questions and accommodate however she can. Since it's a newly renovated townhouse everything is new, which is nice. Pots and pans aren't scratched up. The townhouse itself is modern and nice, but not great for very small children. The owner welcomes kids and even has a high chair and plastic dish ware but the stairs are steep and uncarpeted(this wasn't false advertising, just wanted to let people know), dangerous for little legs. It would be great with older kids for sure! My review reflects the overall experience of staying at the place. The surrounding area is a little trashy. The Regal Oaks isn't really regal. The neighbors spend their afternoons fixing cars and smoking cigarettes on their stoops. They are perfectly nice but i hate cigarettes. When you walk around you notice everyone has reinforced door locks(I felt safe until i noticed that even though i have no reason to think these extra locks were needed ). And there is trash strewn around from the raccoons at night, one of which made it to the pool so the water slide was closed down to be cleaned and shocked. The pool water is a little murky looking and both my son and I developed a slight rash while we were there that disappeared after a week so it wasn't serious. We aren't sure if it was the pool or a sensitivity to detergent. The great perk is that it's really close to Disney and you can walk to "Old Town", which is also trashy but fun. There is a decent pizza place there too! If you aren't on air bnb and want to stay here, you can go directly through Regal Oaks and find different rentals there through them and don't have to worry about the air bnb process. It's perfect for older families(my father in law loved it) or young adults who want to be near Disney, a resort and in walking distance to some bars.

When they finally agreed to a conference call the day before I left Kelly R. the internal phone person screamed liar at me while her kids and dogs barked in the background. They have refused to come see the property while I was in town. They have refused to to do just about anything we have asked. Weeds growing out window seals Palm Tree leaning on our house Piles of dirt from Ants inside the house Roaches in the house ( never in 10 years have we seen one) 7 Light bulbs burned out Black Hair in the beds Book shelf (never before seen) suddenly appeared on the pool deck Broken Lamps Curtain rods that were so broken up they were not straight but zig zags Kitchen garbage cans strewn outside for months Leaking faucets. We checked in on a Saturday and the water slides and splash area we closed, and they remained closed for the entire week! That's is BS! THE UGLY: A lot of this homes have turned their two car garage into the play room area. So, the entire garage is set up like a man cave, which is awesome, except that the garage doors in this particular home weren't sealed properly. And we found a lot of bugs creeping their way in. It's humid it's Florida, I understand but just keep that in mind. And found some cockroaches inside the house too. Overall, not a good experience maybe someone else will. Judge for yourself.

One night I came back after the Disney parks and my pass wasn't scanning and I had done it exactly as it's shown in the example that's in the front. The security was being condescending and rude--mad that he had to come out of his little office and help me. (Isn't this your job?) I was trying to show him how I did it and he was tugging at my pass aggressively, insisting that what I was doing wasn't the right way, when it's clearly pictured how to scan the pass on the scanner. When he scanned it, he used a different method so I had every right to have had trouble. I said "have a good night" and he yelled at me "SAY THANK YOU". Terrible ugly people. Every night for the 3 nights I've stayed they treated me like I was some sort of criminal. I'm paying good money to stay in this community on vacation only to be treated like trash Other than that the house and the community is quiet and relaxing, but the experience I had with security would keep me from staying here ever again. .
