We found a home that was recently renovated. the kitchen we very Danish modern, warm wood tones, flat cabinet fronts, high end stainless appliances. similar clean lines in the bedrooms (no frilly curtains here). the best part was the gorgeous kidney-shaped, in-ground pool. It was a truly lovely experience. and we received a super-helpful gift basket with T.P., a couple of trash bags, paper towels, coffee etc, so we wouldnt have to go out and buy big packs of things that we would have to leave. Well done gemstone. The next time we go to florida we will use you for our accomodation needs.

Before arrival, I asked normal, reasonable questions--such as whether a playpen was available and for clarification on a $280 pool-heating fee. Rather than answering professionally, the company treated basic questions as "argumentative," which immediately set a negative tone. During our stay, we followed all house rules, vacuumed the house daily, secured trash properly after noticing raccoon activity, and promptly reported an issue caused by a previous guest (an electric kettle placed in the dishwasher). That issue was resolved only after we notified management. There were no damages, no rule violations, and no incidents during our stay. Despite this, the company later left an unfair and inaccurate review labeling the experience as a "let down." This suggests an inability to handle guest questions objectively and a tendency to respond defensively rather than professionally. I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting transparent pricing, fair communication, or professional guest relations.

Update: Filed claim with Airbnb because they flat out refused to refund the money for the pool…read morebeing heated and the $25 inconvenience fee. They are very accommodating - letting us check in early when we arrived ahead of schedule and everything else in the area was booked and offering a discount on additional nights if availability was there at the end of our trip. The house is always extremely clean and stocked with a lot of essentials that make our trip easy - including pool toys which our children love. The layout is great for families and offers plenty of room. The garage game room is a great bonus for relaxing nights in, our family really enjoyed playing pool tournaments in the evening! The location is amazing - close to Disney, international drive, old town, and all the dining and shopping you could imagine. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and friendly. We had several folks stop us to talk on walks around the block. We can't wait to book again.

The home was advertised as a 4-bedroom property; it had only 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom was listed as having a king bed, which it did not. These discrepancies directly affected our comfort and sleeping arrangements. During our stay, the pool heater malfunctioned and repeatedly tripped the electrical breaker. For the final four days, the house experienced extended power outages lasting several hours. We were required to reset the breakers ourselves. Because of the electrical issues, we were unable to cook meals and incurred additional unexpected dining expenses. We contacted Wonder Vacation Homes about these issues, but they were unresponsive and offered no compensation beyond the return of our standard security deposit. The listing remains inaccurate as of today. We are sharing this experience to inform future guests and encourage Wonder Vacation Homes to address these ongoing issues.

I reached out to them immediately and they told me that it was nonrefundable, but I could reschedule. (I also paid Airbnb for the insurance) The next availability wasn't until four months later either, I asked if I could just pay the difference and get a different house under the same company, they refused, said that it had to be the same house I originally booked. I asked them if I could show them medical records or have my lawyer reach out, they said no. So we went because I couldn't risk losing the amount that I paid. I had to arrange getting there because I was not allowed to drive due to the accident. They showed zero remorse and did not care at all. Then once we checked out, my daughter immediately realized she left her Curling Iron. I reached out to the company and they said that they found it and they would mail it to my house. I told them I could come pick it up, but they said they would mail it so I gave them my address. Curling Iron never showed up. I've been back-and-forth with them for the last three months on text message email and phone calls. They've been giving me the runaround and excuses. Mind you I have it in writing that they found my daughter's Curling Iron. The one then described to me the Curling Iron. And it's not your everyday Curling Iron either. I finally got a hold of a manager yesterday, once he didn't find it in the Lost and Found he proceeded to tell me that they told me false information. The Curling Iron found belonged to a different guest. Which I know is baloney. Now I would've did a double check upstairs myself, But I physically couldn't get upstairs due to the accident. Worst company to ever rent from. And I will be taking this further.

This is a very nice, gated condo vacation rental. Our amenities included a lanai, pool, hot tub,…read moregame room and 6 bedrooms with 4 baths. Everything is top notch. Spacious, beautifully decorated, secure and kid friendly. We loved everything and our family had a great time. This is a self-catered vacation - and requires the usual - washing dishes, bagging trash and putting it outside at the designated time, and starting the laundering of sheets and bath towels before you check out. One small discredit - there are no trash bags, laundry detergent, or dishwasher soap provided. Also no paper towels, coffee filters, sugar, salt & pepper, TP, or dish towel. A few tiny bars of soap in the bathrooms are provided. Don't even think about shampoo or conditioner. There was no hairdryer in the master bedroom (just attachments). I didn't check in the other bedrooms - there might have been one, That means, you have to buy all of these things. You can't buy 1 or 2 trash bags or enough laundry detergent for 2-3 loads, or dishwasher detergent for 3-4 loads. You leave it all behind and hope the next person gets to benefit. Since none of these were in our condo and it appeared to have been rented a week or two ago, I assume all of the things we left behind were removed and the next guest has to purchase them. This is not an inexpensive condo. These are minor expenses but inconvenient and wasteful to buy and discard. Hope someone at Windsor Hills is listening. If not, bring small quantities of all of the above.
