I'm mildly tangent to the photo industry so I feel like I know what good photography looks like. Yes, this is a review for a photo booth company, but it's the quality of the images they produce is still pretty important. With so many photo booth companies offering deals on Groupon, Living Social and even yelp, it's easy to find a photo booth, but in researching for my wedding, I've found there are a lot of things you l'll want to avoid. 1) Crappy photos...Look at the companies Facebook/website to see photos from previous events. Are they too bright? Are they too dark? Is the white balance way off? Does it look like the shots were taken with a cheap webcam rather than an SLR? 2) Are the charging you for the setup time? You're paying an hourly rate and want to make sure you get what you pay for. 3) Can you choose between 4x6 or 2 2x6 strips? Can you switch between color and black and white on the fly? Can you customize the overlay on the printed photos for your event? 4) Does the company provide props?, Are they extra? 5) is it open air? Do your guests want the privacy of a closed booth? Can you customize the backdrop/background for your event? Prestige had the right answer to most of these questions, although at the end of negotiating the contract, it was hard not to feel nickel and dimed for all the extras that I really expected anyways. Things like props...I mean really, without props, all a photo booth is really good for is taking passport photos. The good news is, the add-on was only $25 extra...how could I say no? Other add-ons we paid for were customization for the overlay on the photos (adding a small logo and the name and date of the event) for $25 and then another $25 for giving us the digital files from the photo booth on a USB stick at the end of the night. The contract offers a guestbook for an additional $25, but I don't believe they do this anymore. I have to say, I'm really happy with the quality of the photos as well as with the quality of the service provided. Kevin, the photo booth attendant at our event, got everyone out of their shells, taking fun photos with Santa hats, pimp hats and more! He also stayed on top of the time, letting both the dj and myself know when the time was going to be up, to make sure we got as much use as we could out of the photo booth. Everyone had a great time! We just used Prestige Forever for our wedding and could not have been happier! We got a great deal and all of the photos were up online within a few days, and for $25 additional they gave me a USB of all of the photos taken at the wedding. Also, they were willing to do an open setup so we could use the beautiful background of the theater lobby, and they were helpful in creating the template I wanted for the pictures. So much fun!!!! The booth was great and the photos come out at a great quality. Love that you get choices on layout and all photos are uploaded. Our corporate event got a little wild so we asked that Dan (the man!) filter them and he totally obliged. Within a few hours of asking that they be protected and removed from Facebook they were! When our guests were distracted and then made a mad dash at the end to use the booth, Dan was super understanding and let them all get a chance. We recently hired Prestige Forever to bring a photo booth to our elementary school Spring Dance. They were wonderful! I had a million questions which were answered promptly via both email and phone. The assistant arrived early, set-up and gave us the extra time without extra charge. We used our booth as a fund raiser and the assistant was so helpful--he even collected the payment tickets for us! We used props and shoved as many kids in there as we could all without complaint or incident. The photos came out so cute (both black and white and color) and were the biggest hit of the night! This review is long overdue. Prestige Forever served double duty for our wedding. They created two different templates for us. For the first hour of the wedding, we had a reception line where we took pictures with all guests. After that, the same machine was reprogrammed to take photo booth style photos in an open air setting. For each strip, there were 4 poses that were captured. Prestige Forever was very helpful in answering our questions and providing very affordable rates. Prestige Forever provided the background, props, online access to all photos, and a book for guests to share their photos with us. read more

I hired them for my mom's 90th birthday party for our guest. I found them on Groupon or AmazonLocal.com (sorry dont recall which it was) was a good coupon !! The setup went well but hit a little bit of a snag when it came to the graphics but the assoicate who came with the booth worked it out and gave us 30 min. more to take pictures because of this snap.. I was skeptical at first due to getting this service off a coupon deal BUT, we were so impressed and pleased.I had never rented a photobooth before and did not know what to expect, or not. I called to schedule a photo booth for my son's birthday party. I had left a message on a cell phone and did not receive a call back. I called back a week later and Danny scheduled my booth for a party a month out. I filled out the online form with all of the party information, as requested. I called two days before the party to confirm that they will be there and had a couple of questions. Danny did not have me on the schedule! I explained that he had mentioned in our previous call that he had a party in Simi Valley before ours, but he will make it work. He confirmed that he did indeed have a party in Simi Valley....so he did speak to me and scheduled my party! He offered another time, but my party would be over by then. Danny said he couldn't do anything else and quickly scurried off the phone. I don't think this company is professional and could ruin your party plans. It seems like some guy had an idea for a company, but doesn't have the tools to run it properly. I would look elsewhere. read more

We ended up making & providing our own props as a way to save money. The Photobooth was a BIG hit! Everyone of my guest, had a blast taking photos, even my 78yr.Mother!
