I immediately contacted the vendor provided by the wedding coordinator. I told them I know its so very last minute but the photo booth was a must! They called me the following day and after the rambling of last minute thing, transportation, blah, blah, blah... they quoted me for $1000 for 4 hours. That rate was ridiculous. I then contacted Mojo (a friend of mine mentioned their name from a previous event that they had). Sebastian, the owner, made it happened and gave me a good deal. The photo booth was a hit and everyone went home with a fun memory of the wedding. Thanks Mojo. BTW, The techs that came to set up and help us with the booth was very accommodating and with the looks to die for.

I booked these people (was definitely not a real company) for an event and had a hell of a time trying to confirm any type of details with who I assume was one of the owners. It took weeks to get replies back and their voicemail was always full so there was no way I was able to even talk to anyone live until they finally call back much later. With my event, I did not want anything to go wrong and definitely did not want any unprofessionalism to deal with. It's a special event and who needs more stress, right? I had the Living Social $199 for 2 hour voucher which seemed to be a negative according to the owner I spoke with. He was very hesitant to keep me booked on the day I wanted (2 months ahead of time mind you) once he heard it was a voucher I was redeeming. Also, he started added charges such as Tax on top of the voucher that I had already paid for through Living Social. How do you add tax after you purchase a voucher??? Also, a magical travel fee was 'waived' if I were to add another hour at the regular rate of $200/hour. Wasn't sure where that travel fee was in the first place but hey, it would be waived to make you feel better about doubling your bill. No contract forms were sent or signed, No verbal confirmation was made on the date or final price, No details were made about package deals on Scrapbooks or Attendant fees, No nothing was never discussed about nothing and/or nothing. Make sense? I hope it doesn't then you will know how I felt the entire time trying to set up these guys for our party. After about a month of ridiculous one-sided communication, I canceled these yahoos and went with another company at full price. The professionalism of this other company (notice that they are not just 'guys') was very apparent and how a business should be run. Mojo is just a couple of 'guys' that bought a photo booth and thought it would make them a few bucks on the side of their regular jobs/businesses. After I canceled, I went to Living Social to tell them that these guys are yanking everybody's chains and that they should be wary of doing business with these guys again. Living Social graciously gave me a full refund for my voucher and wrote up a report on the Mojo scam. I have nothing but respect for Living Social and will continue to buy from them. Mojo......not so much. Also, look at all these fake and filtered reviews on this Yelp site and you will see what these guys will go through to boost business. The only real review seems to be Gina R.'s and it's a 1-star. I can't believe some people. Anyway, do not use these guys. Pay the $$$ and get a real company to deal with. I hate writing negative reviews but I am just trying to lower their 4 star rating average that they currently have. No way that's accurate.

Just found out that the living social deal I bought for a photo booth was a scam. I wasn't able to reach them but once. Purchased it months in advance!!! I gave up the thought of a photo booth at my wedding. Sept 18th... Future sister in law gives me a phone number to call, I think to myself, "no way someone will have a booth available in such a short amount of time, and if they do, it'll cost a fortune!! I hesitate to call since I was already upset. Sept 19th. My wife to be is even more upset about not having a photo booth, so I decide to call. Magdiela answers the phone and tells me that they are available and that the price was just meeting my budget. I was so speechless I couldn't believe it. Fast forward Sept 23rd, day of the wedding, showed up on time, set up and had every thing ready to go perfectly... The booth was a hit!! Two hours and we got 122 pictures. they were perfect! every one loved them. The guests had so much fun with the prop rack. People loved them more than the favors. I highly highly highly recommend these guys. And they do more than photo booths.

They have some pretty crazy insurance requirements and these guys could more than handle it. The set up and take down was super smooth. On your wedding day, you really don't want to worry about vendors handling things right. Well let me tell you, it was all handled. ALL my guests absolutely loved the photo booth too. It's so easy my nieces and nephews worked it and even my mom. She can't even text! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys. I wish all the vendors at my wedding were this amazing but I guess you can't have it all :]

I hired them for my daughter's sweet 16. They took photo after photo, agreed graciously to stay an hour later for which we paid, and the guests loved their photos. I felt they were very easy to work with. Toward the end of the party, I asked about the video portion of the package and why the guests were not being told they could do that. They corrected this, and offered to do it. At this time I was bothered by this because the session was just about over and they were barely offering to video guests. We could not get messages from all of the guests due to the short time available. We had the guests go on camera toward the end of the session, and very quickly they all gave a very heartfelt birthday messages to the birthday girl. We tipped the attendants VERY well because we felt they had done a good job and happily agreed to stay an hour later than we had contracted. We got our photos on a flash drive before they left. We were so grateful for their service and help we tipped them well, and they left. Later, we looked at the pictures and my daughter wanted to watch the videos the guests had made for her. There were plenty of great photos.... but not a single video. They had not said that we would not get the videos so we were confused. None the less, I felt that we were very understanding and patient when we addressed the situation with them. And I felt that they would do right by us. At first we were in contact about the videos, with Adam giving us updates and everything. Then.... nothing. It became apparent that they were avoiding any inquiring emails and voicemail messages. Ten months later, I still sent yet another email... and still no response from Adam or anyone from this company. I still have not received the videos or any word about them. I'm going to assume my daughter will never hear the happy sweet sixteen messages from her guests that we paid for as part of the package. Nor will they tell us what happened to them or apparently offer restitution for not giving us this portion of our package. I wish I can even get the tip back because I feel so disappointed with them. I waited to write this review hoping they would rectify the situation. As they still have not, I decided to share about my experience in case others are trying to decide between AV Photobooth and another photo booth company.
