I would love to give five stars, but after trying to resolve an issue for ten months now, I'm going to give them one star for price, and one star for the quality of their photos. I hired them for my daughter's sweet 16. They took photo after photo, agreed graciously to stay an hour later for which we paid, and the guests loved their photos. I felt they were very easy to work with. Toward the end of the party, I asked about the video portion of the package and why the guests were not being told they could do that. They corrected this, and offered to do it. At this time I was bothered by this because the session was just about over and they were barely offering to video guests. We could not get messages from all of the guests due to the short time available. We had the guests go on camera toward the end of the session, and very quickly they all gave a very heartfelt birthday messages to the birthday girl. We tipped the attendants VERY well because we felt they had done a good job and happily agreed to stay an hour later than we had contracted. We got our photos on a flash drive before they left. We were so grateful for their service and help we tipped them well, and they left. Later, we looked at the pictures and my daughter wanted to watch the videos the guests had made for her. There were plenty of great photos.... but not a single video. They had not said that we would not get the videos so we were confused. None the less, I felt that we were very understanding and patient when we addressed the situation with them. And I felt that they would do right by us. At first we were in contact about the videos, with Adam giving us updates and everything. Then.... nothing. It became apparent that they were avoiding any inquiring emails and voicemail messages. Ten months later, I still sent yet another email... and still no response from Adam or anyone from this company. I still have not received the videos or any word about them. I'm going to assume my daughter will never hear the happy sweet sixteen messages from her guests that we paid for as part of the package. Nor will they tell us what happened to them or apparently offer restitution for not giving us this portion of our package. I wish I can even get the tip back because I feel so disappointed with them. I waited to write this review hoping they would rectify the situation. As they still have not, I decided to share about my experience in case others are trying to decide between AV Photobooth and another photo booth company. read more

I have a chain of emails from him where he would say "I will send it Tuesday" then "I sent it already" followed by "I will send it soon" then "haven't sent it yet, sorry I'm busy." When looking for a photo booth for our boys high school graduation party I did a lot of research on Yelp before deciding on AV Photo Booth. I wanted a high quality looking set-up as well as great pictures and they definitely delivered on both! I gave them the details of what I wanted down to the custom template for our pictures and they did such a great job on creating exactly what I wanted. On the day of the party the set-up was quick & easy and they had all the graduation props on hand as well as some of the more adult props for the crazy grown-ups who enjoyed the photo booth just as much as the kids. The photo booth attendant was great with everyone and did an excellent job of telling people where to look and how much time we had in between photos. Please read my review before you think about hiring AV Photo. I hired AV Photo Booth Rentals because of their online reviews. I have to seriously question if the reviews are fiction. I hired AV Photo Booth for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah and instead of adding joy to our celebration their photograph brought chaos, disappointment and negativity. The AV Photo Photographer arrived an hour late. He phoned me when he was a half an hour late and claimed he went to my house instead. Strange, he did not have my home address and our party venue was close to our home. Their Photographer was smoking cigarettes at our party instead of working his three hour shift. The Photographer scared the guest by telling them how he was robbed at gun point the night before. The photographer told all of my daughter's friends he should not be working that day because it was his birthday. The photographer discouraged photos. The photographer would not give my guest any of the duplicate photos that I had already prepaid. I phoned the owner Adam and Anthony and they told me they were very sorry and they would make it right. They offered to deliver the scrapbook I paid for but did not receive, refund my money and offered me a free photo booth for a different party. I thought they were trying to right a wrong but I was mistaken. It has been over a month and I still have not received a refund. I have phoned, emailed them and I have been told the check is in the mail. While it has been weeks and there is no check, no replies to my voicemails or emails. My daughter did receive her scrapbook from them. However, it became an ordeal with Anthony's lack of follow through and broken appointments in the delivery of the scrapbook to us. He finally placed the scrapbook in the mail as I had requested earlier. The scrapbook is ok but very limited- not too many photos were taken. I would NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use this company. My husband and I decided to get a photo booth for our wedding reception. After reading the amazing reviews we moved forward with AV photobooth. I worked with Adam who was helpful in selecting the perfect photobooth package that met our needs. One big plus was that they provide a USB with all the pictures after the event. I was willing to pay another company an additional fee to get an album but they won us over with this option. The overall set up was elegant with a red carpet feel. My friends squeezed us in the photobooth for a few pictures . I noticed the flash was too bright , I looked like a ghost . One of my girlfriends said she had to keep adjusting the flash to prevent it from getting bright. I would expect the photobooth assistant handling this issue. Now for the two stars : As I mentioned earlier my husband and I loved the fact we get copies of our pictures. We were planning on making an album for keepsake of all the goofy funny photos. We never ended up receiving our copy of the pictures. I sent an email in regards to this matter but never heard back. I finally got in touch with Anthony who said he would send it ASAP. Booked them a year ago for my wedding on July 5, 2016, looking at all the 5 stars reviews at the time. Adam was sincere and gave me a breakdown of what the contract contained. Booked for a good price $849- with the $100 off Yelp discount. Included unlimited pictures, USB copy, online gallery, multiple copies, red carpet treatment, open air booth, on site attendant, idle time and set up breakdown, you name it. Signed the contract, paid 40% deposit of $340 and didn't worry about it until 10 days before the wedding when the remaining balance due of $509. Contacted the company 10 days before the wedding (July 8, 2017) via email, Yelp, phone number on contract. No answer. Informed my wedding planner, she called no answer, finally after 2-3 days got a call from Anthony the brother after calling repeatedly until there was an answer. Out of curiosity I read the Yelp reviews that were 1-2 stars and were recently just this year and almost panicked. Ready to lose the $340 deposit and go with someone else but thought what a waste, not gonna let them win by taking my money- besides there's a contact, and better pull through. Lack of communication from Anthony but he kept apologizing that he bought a new house,etc, Ok that's cool but the service was lacking. I wondered what happened to Adam? Long story short- Anthony kept his word, paid my balance via paypal and hoped for the best... He said he'll send Jordan that would help do the photobooth. Sweet. Attended a friends wedding back in October, I've been meaning to write a Yelp review for this group so here goes.. THE BOOTH They had a backdrop downstairs and a laid back-modern set up w/props upstairs. I've never seen a photobooth company go an extra mile in setting up two locations! The first spot was a grand entrance shot: Everybody who walked in got to take a photo with the bride/groom. AV provided excellent photos, allowed us to retake, Charlene ran around adjusting the lighting to the brides liking, I thought this was so kind, she even had water ready for the sweaty groom. I loved the backdrop! Pictures came out great with a well adjusted space set up for people to walk through. THE PEOPLE Charlene was super sweet, warm, kept the crowd happy and under control. She was approachable and made the photos exciting. Whenever we had a question, she was happy to answer. The other guy was nice and professional, they make a good team! THE PROPS SoOOo many props! We had so much fun, posing and messing around. It was easy because this booth isn't enclosed, it's open-spaced! Lovely. This company is very unprofessional. Let me tell you about my experience before you book this company. I had booked them through Groupon for our wedding. The machine wasn't working at first. Once it got started the pictures were messed up. One of the frames would come out black&white. Clearly they do not check the machines before coming to an event. After that Anthony was suppose to send out the USB drive. He lied and told me he sent it on Monday but it was never sent out. He eventually sends it out and calls me to tell me he had lied and had some emergency and didn't send it at all until I kept asking. I emailed Adam telling him that I was not happy with my experience through them. He said for a future event to let them redeem themselves for a discounted price. I've been calling, emailing and leaving messages for my daughters birthday but no answer. When planning my wedding, there was no doubt in my mind that we were going to have a photo booth. Reputability was a requirement but more importantly affordability. I took to Groupon to see what I could find and came across AV Photo Booth. Next step was Yelp reviews. Although they did not have as many reviews as other companies, what was consistent was they were positive reviews. I decided to reach out to them before purchasing the Groupon deal. My first point of contact was Adam. We played phone tag a couple of times due to my inability to take personal calls at work (Sorry Adam.), but he also followed up each call with an email which was greatly appreciated. Adam answered all of my questions and after speaking with him, I was confident enough to go ahead and make the purchase and start the booking process. Reserving the date was easy with their online fill in form. The design process of the photo strip was handled by Anthony. Anthony was very accommodating to the changes I requested. On the day of my event, I met Anthony in person as he was there to set up and make sure things ran smoothly. We were so busy with the reception we lost track of time and almost did not get to use the photo booth ourselves. Luckily, Anthony tracked us down before they started to pack up to make sure we were able to have our own photo booth session. After the event, we received a USB with all the photos taken and my husband and I had a blast seeing the funny things our guests were doing. FREAKING AWESOME!!! *Ahem...Please excuse my language but they simply are :D I hired AV Photo Booth for my wedding in September and I can honestly tell you that it was the single best decision that I have made for the wedding reception. They have a great selection of templates to choose from, and we found one that matched our wedding perfectly. The photo booth itself is really well put together.
