These guys set the bar for what a tree removal company experience should be. I called and Ken came out and gave me a quote. I told him my concern of tearing up my yard and fence. He assured me that, that would not be an issue and they have plenty of experience removing trees in tight spaces. He was not lying. They pieced the tree into small manageable pieces and ground the stump. You couldn't even tell I had a tree removed unless you were standing on the place where the stump was. It took about a year of treatment to really see the results since my soil pH needed significant correction. I've never had problems with the service and they always notify me in advance when they are coming. My neighbors have commented on how nice my lawn looks, and it was the last lawn on my street to go dormant this fall. There are several others on my street who have started using Grass Nerds as well. In response to some of the other comments, my lawn is Bermuda. When it really starts growing in the summer, I may have to cut it 2-3 times per week. Otherwise, the lower part of Bermuda will show and it looks like brown spots. So my advice is to cut often with a sharp blade, set up an effective watering schedule, and you will not be disappointed!
