Prestige Productions at Sammy's Showroom at Harrah's has put together a sinfully delicious show. Show The cast did an amazing job. It was very entertaining and really captivated my attention. I particularly enjoyed how they integrated interviews from real people to really connect the audience to the show. Drinks Citrus Mule A refreshing lighter twist on the traditional Moscow Mule. Patron Sunrise It was very strong and not very good. Most of the alcohol seems to be on the bottom on the drink with the mixers just added on top. I would recommend this show to anyone looking to shake up their idea of night time entertainment. You might even leave with a little bedroom inspiration for your significant other. Lol read more

I saw Ignite in Sammies Showroom at Harrahs Reno and it was on fire!!! (Pun intended). We truly had a fabulous time at this variety show. The ladieS looked amazing, costumes were super sexy and the acts were wonderful. There was one guy that was super talented on silks, a spinning rIng, skates and even a lingerie act. Warning warning warning to those who are shy: Do not sit in the first row because you may become a participant in their show. These ladies will kindly ask you to become a part of the show and I'm sure if you deny them they would not flip out on you. So do not feel obligated. The show is hosted by a stunning young lady who sounds like Beyonce even when she talks. Her vocals will captivate you to where you're almost forget there are dancers behind her. Seriously this young lady has talent!! The music and the dance is performed throughout the show are breathtaking. Immediately during the show I announced no more buffets for me!! WHEWWW talk about a spicy time in Sammy's Showroom! Last night I saw Essence, and it was my third year in a row seeing a Prestige Production. I can't say enough about what a good show the cast puts on. You can tell from the very start that each performer is incredibly passionate about dance, and it really shows throughout the production. One thing I love about Prestige Productions is that each show is different every year. It usually follows a theme that's portrayed by different acts, and there's always a comedic touch as well. The effects are always on point, as well as the costumes and makeup. These shows are such a fun way to spend your Friday and Saturday night, and are most definitely worth every penny as well. If you want to watch a bunch of beautiful performers that are passionate about what they do, definitely check out the show before it's gone! read more

We had the pleasure of watching Essence tonight courtesy of Yelp Elite. I hadn't been to Sammys Showroom since i was a child, when my mom worked at Harrahs and would take us to the family friendly shows. Strangely enough it hasn't changed much in 20 something years... We were seated in decent seats right up front. It almost would have been beneficial to be seated a little further back. We were almost too close.... because the stage comes forward in the middle so we had to turn around to see the action. It wasn't a large portion of the show but was slightly annoying. Overall the show was good. The songs didn't seem to be complete length... the performances were really good but seemed to end mid song and then on to the next set. The entire show was only an hour. I expected a 90 minute show. The performers were beautiful and very nice performances. I enjoyed the message that the show sent about owning who you are and embracing your essence. The show was not very engaging. I think the shortened songs made it awkward, as we would be getting into each song and then it would end semi-abruptly. It was really nice to have a call button at our seat. We pushed the button to order drinks. Our server came quickly and brought our drinks speedy fast. Drinks were moderately priced. Similar to those in the casino bars. Alcoholic beverage was very well made. No skimping on the booze for sure. We had a fun evening and enjoyed the show, but truly would have been disappointed if I spent much money on the tickets. Over all, a great experience! read more

I LOVED this show. My boyfriend and I went with 3 other couples and had a blast. There is so much to see that I am going again, this time in the VIP section. The writing, choreography, and talent is far superior to the local shows we usually have. The Nevada theme makes it fun and relevant, whether you are a local like me, or just visiting. WOW! This show totally exceeded my expectations! Aside from having front row seats, courtesy of Yelp, the show would have been well worth the $30 ticket price. The MC had the most amazing voice and was absolutely beautiful. She was funny and sincere. The 4 girls and the guy dancers were really entertaining and super sexy. I felt like they really connected with the audience. They portrayed a variety of "sexy" scenarios. Something for everyone. I would definitely be interesting in going to seet his show again and am recommending to my friends. read more

What a fun night I had with my +1 to the Yelp Elite event to see this show. It was full of glitz, glam, humor, raunchy humor song and of course dance. This was my first burlesque show, and first show I saw at Harrah's. The rundown: Parking: a breeze. The parking garage was pretty full, but I was able to find parking on the 5th floor. Finding the showroom: Breeze as well! There were plenty of overhead signs that directed me from the parking garage through the casino to find the escalators to take you down to another floor and the showroom sign was big enough and easy to find. Upon arrival, I checked in with my guest and we stepped into the showroom and were offered complimentary champagne. I don't know if it was a showroom thing or a yelp guest thing, but either way, I was thankful. We were then asked if we wanted a booth or a table, and we selected a booth. There wasn't a bad seat in the house! We arrived right on time, so there wasn't much wait time. Then the show began. I really enjoyed how they customized the show to the demographic of Reno. It was entertaining to see how some answers of "What Sexy is..." were interpreted and portrayed in the show. The dancers were wonderful to watch. They were entertaining and portrayed each character very well. Just a few complaints: There were a few, waitress bringing drinks during the show. Only one waitress stopped by our table near the beginning of the show and asked if we were doing alright. We never saw her again, nor did anyone else stop by to ask if we wanted a drink (which I did). The songs, while choreographed well, seemed too short. Just when you're getting a feel for how the dance, the song and the answer of what Sexy is, or isn't, it cuts off. I can understand some artistic appeal to that, however for most of the songs, it was beginning to get annoying. Overall though, great show, and I'm thankful that yelp allowed some of us Elites to enjoy the show! read more

Essence was by far Prestige Productions best show yet, with a downsized cast the did not fail to deliver. The story line was very cleverly written and easy to follow which is very important with shows like this. They combined humor with talent, sexuality, and grace. The lead singer had a fabulous voice and didn't fail to deliver even some of the highest notes on key while dancing. The show was very sexy, yet it was very tasteful and classy while not overdoing it with too much skin. It brought out just enough lust and desire..... while still maintaining professional class and as a result, it left the audience wanting more. The performances were amazing, the girls were sexy, the show was funny, everything was amazing. Definitely a must see. Well done cast! Well done! My hats off to you! read more

We were treated to a new show at Harry's called Essence. It started at ten at night and was in Sammy's showroom. The singing and dancing were spectacular, especially the girls that were on the cloth ropes and did all kinds of maneuvers. The only negative I have is the music was a bit loud and the songs were cut short. It seemed like just when you were getting into the song and dancing, it stopped abruptly. This show was so great! We have seen a few different cabaret/burlesque shows and I would say this one was my favorite. It was fresh but classic at the same time and the dancers are so talented! When my fiancé suggested we check out the show I was a little fearful that it was a trap. I had never been to a burlesque show so I had no idea what I was walking into. WOW! The talent! It was no different than walking through an art Gallery. The girls have talent! And the host was hilarious! They had one dude who had some pretty sick dance moves too. It was awesome to watch! The Esscence Show at the Harrahs Reno is PHENOMENAL. I am all about having an epiphany moment and I had a fantastic one durring this show. I do not want to give too much away but you will enjoy the choreography, The music and the message. I loved each performer and the audience interactions were stellar and tasteful.
