a neon sign above a door

Came here to see a show during my last trip to South Lake. The venue was alright, but nothing special. The staff was nice and helpful. One annoying thing, however, was that we were seating on the right side facing the stage, near the door. Throughout the show people, would leave the room to go use the bathroom outside, but the door would lock behind them so people locked out would just start knocking on the door. As you can imagine, that is distracting when you are trying to watch a comedy show. No staff member was stationed by the door to open it, so audience members kept getting up to let each person back in. Seems an easy fix would be to unlock the door, or keep someone staffed there throughout the show to make sure the door is opened when it needs to be. Other than that, it was nice that there was no drink requirement and the local comic who MC'ed was pretty funny. The headliners were good too, and change every few days, so I would check it out again next time I come to town...I would just sit far from the door.

WTF?! This was the worst comedy show that I have ever been to. The opening guy was ok, the second woman was horrible! We didn't laugh once. The headliner was just as bad and we walked out along with several other people

I went to Improv last night and saw Gene Pompa, John Camponera and a great female MC. All three were fantastic, I hope they come back.

Good fun on a Saturday night! A little tuff to get tickets during the day but worth the frustration.

This was awful. The were no funny and they allowed a female in the audience to interject on early every joke and mess up the flow.

Whether you want to stay busy or just kick back and watch a game, they've got you covered. There's a fun mini golf course with obstacle-style holes, cornhole, other interactive games, tons of big-screen TVs showing sports, plenty of high-top tables, a long bar, and even outdoor seating. We decided to grab a couple seats at the bar. We were first greeted by Kelly, who was incredibly friendly, had a great smile, and genuinely seemed happy to take care of us. Then Ben took over, and he was awesome. Super personable, easy to joke around with, and the kind of bartender who keeps interacting with guests even when he's busy. The staff alone is a reason we'd come back. Trivia isn't usually my thing, but we decided to join in anyway. It's free, energetic, and a lot of fun. There were probably around 25 teams playing, and Tom did a great job keeping the energy up all night. The questions start out pretty easy to build your confidence, then get progressively tougher. It ended up being a great time and the perfect way to spend our first night in Tahoe.

I enjoyed that you are able to call for reservation of a big party. There were 9 of us and they were able to accommodate. For those of us who have not been before, the server was kind enough to give us a lowdown on how this works. We learned that is is all you can eat, you can enjoy the salad bar and of course the noodles, meat and veggies. Everything is cooked to order and the chefs put on a show too. I enjoyed the salad bar first and then went for the hibachi. I love the endless possibilities for the combinations. It truly is whatever you are in the mood for. I like the chicken and seafood options. I do recommend you check this place out if you are in the South Lake Tahoe area!

She was happy to be spending her summer working in Tahoe. Our server was Diana, so personable and helpful. She walked us over to the prep stations for our salad and bowls and gave us suggestions and tips. The 2 young men working the grill were so fun and entertaining. They put on a show, and were very kind to everyone. It was fun watching kids try to throw cheese on their burgers This was a wonderful salad bar- I really enjoyed the couscous and the beets Restaurant and restrooms were clean and well maintained My only drawback was as someone who doesn't eat meat- I would like to have clean spatulas for my grill dishes... the spatulas were used on all the food on the grill top

It was a beautiful day, so we opted for the outdoor seating with the pups. The atmosphere was really nice and definitely nailed that classic, welcoming taphouse feel. Our server, Trey, was incredibly kind and attentive--he even brought out water bowls for the dogs right away, which we appreciated. For my meal, I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich. It was absolutely delicious, packed with so many distinct flavors, and the chipotle sauce itself was great. My only minor critique is that the bread for the sandwich crumbled pretty easily while eating it, but all things considered, the flavor was so good that I wasn't too mad about it. Overall, it's a dog-friendly spot with good service and food.

Within 30 seconds of arriving, Trey asked me where I would like to seat then set me in within probably three minutes of showing up. My food was ordered and traded a great job. Restaurant is good music. Lots of TVs kind of a dark aesthetic with lightbulbs, but the Star of the show was the Reuben. Normally, Ruben is very dry and flaky you feel like you've eaten razor blades cause your mouth is all cut up because the meat is dried out, but they're rye bread is very well seasoned not full of nuts as if I ordered a chipmunk or rabbit sandwich. Nope nothing but net at McP with plenty of thinly sliced juicy layers of meat and sauerkraut and thousand is one of the best Rueben's I've had in a year. Also, Trey was a fantastic server and Bell and the manager was very welcoming fantastic location great staff fantastic food . I don't like how they have plastic cups, but apparently it's a sizing issue. They just don't have room for storage but that's a tiny negative compared to the rest of the meal was fantastic.
