Came here to see a show during my last trip to South Lake. The venue was alright, but nothing special. The staff was nice and helpful. One annoying thing, however, was that we were seating on the right side facing the stage, near the door. Throughout the show people, would leave the room to go use the bathroom outside, but the door would lock behind them so people locked out would just start knocking on the door. As you can imagine, that is distracting when you are trying to watch a comedy show. No staff member was stationed by the door to open it, so audience members kept getting up to let each person back in. Seems an easy fix would be to unlock the door, or keep someone staffed there throughout the show to make sure the door is opened when it needs to be. Other than that, it was nice that there was no drink requirement and the local comic who MC'ed was pretty funny. The headliners were good too, and change every few days, so I would check it out again next time I come to town...I would just sit far from the door.

WTF?! This was the worst comedy show that I have ever been to. The opening guy was ok, the second woman was horrible! We didn't laugh once. The headliner was just as bad and we walked out along with several other people

I went to Improv last night and saw Gene Pompa, John Camponera and a great female MC. All three were fantastic, I hope they come back.

Good fun on a Saturday night! A little tuff to get tickets during the day but worth the frustration.

This was awful. The were no funny and they allowed a female in the audience to interject on early every joke and mess up the flow.

The interior is dimly lit, calm, and still very inviting--something you really have to experience in person. The drinks and mocktails are so well crafted that it's almost shocking--you take a sip, then look back at the menu like, "Wait... that's all it cost?" and then back at the bartender like, "Hold on... you made this perfectly for me?" We sat at the bar top and, like everyone else, got caught up in our phones trying to post everything in real time. But Amanda, who was making our drinks, could spark a conversation out of thin air. She was a total pro at keeping us engaged and enjoying our time, all while making drinks and taking care of everyone else around us.

The standout of…read morethe night was definitely Amanda the mixologist--she was absolutely great, incredibly fun to talk to, and an overall delight to be around while making our drinks. The atmosphere itself is on the smaller side, but it fits the cozy, hidden speakeasy vibe perfectly. That being said, the pricing is a bit tough to swallow. I ordered a drink for $22 that tasted good, but overall, the drinks here are just way too expensive for what you get. They also had live music playing during our visit; it was good lounge background music that added a nice vibe to the room, but it wasn't anything spectacular or something to get overly excited about. It's a cool spot to check out for the ambiance, but the high drink prices keep it at a flat three stars for me.

Whether you want to stay busy or just kick back and watch a game, they've got you covered. There's a fun mini golf course with obstacle-style holes, cornhole, other interactive games, tons of big-screen TVs showing sports, plenty of high-top tables, a long bar, and even outdoor seating. We decided to grab a couple seats at the bar. We were first greeted by Kelly, who was incredibly friendly, had a great smile, and genuinely seemed happy to take care of us. Then Ben took over, and he was awesome. Super personable, easy to joke around with, and the kind of bartender who keeps interacting with guests even when he's busy. The staff alone is a reason we'd come back. Trivia isn't usually my thing, but we decided to join in anyway. It's free, energetic, and a lot of fun. There were probably around 25 teams playing, and Tom did a great job keeping the energy up all night. The questions start out pretty easy to build your confidence, then get progressively tougher. It ended up being a great time and the perfect way to spend our first night in Tahoe.

No greeting, no smile, just pure transactional energy, like ordering from a vending machine, except the vending machine probably smiles more. Food: exactly what you'd expect. Burgers, fries, sandwiches -- the culinary equivalent of beige. Nothing wrong with it, nothing memorable either. It exists, and so do I, and neither of us are thrilled about it. Beer selection is genuinely good, I'll give them that. But at $9.75 a draft -- yes, even for the light stuff that's basically flavored water -- you'd think they'd at least pretend to like their job. And then there's the mysterious "Tech Fee," slapped onto every tab before they even ask how you're paying. I asked about it and got the classic "it covers credit card fees" line. Cool story, except I hadn't pulled out my wallet yet, so unless they've invented psychic payment-method detection, this just reads as a flat "thanks for showing up" tax. This place clearly banks on tourists who'll never be back to complain in person. If they had to survive on regulars, they'd have closed by now. Skip it unless you enjoy paying premium prices for the customer service equivalent of a shrug.
