I'll keep this brief with as much concise detail as possible. This started of as a positive…read moreexperience but a couple of things happened. Meds needed obvious adjustments at about the time I learned the Dr. Samuels shows up late about 3/4 and not at all the other 1/4. A couple of times when I've had to completely reschedule after an hour's drive (staff gives no advance notice that he is not there or not going to be showing up) other times, I've seen the nurse practitioner which happens to be Dr. Samuel's wife. The times I've seen her, I was in strife and, trust when I say this, you could have a noose around your neck in front of her and she would say "let the medication do it's work" (this after 4-6 months of it!). Zero personality or positive affect from her. Avoid at all costs. Dr. Samuels is a fine choice if you are prepared to either wait or not have him show up. I've since changed practices because of those frustrations.

I called the office on July 1 and explained that a family member needed a medication evaluation and to be prescribed medication for mental health issues. I was told that I needed a referral from an outside source. It took me three weeks, but finally I found someone who could do this and they faxed in their referral. When I called back, I was told that I could have done the referral myself and that my family member could have been helped weeks ago. I was asked many questions about medication needs, mental health issues, history, etc. I was told someone would get back to me. Then last evening I received a phone call telling me "We don't do medication, just therapy. You need to find somewhere else to go." The average wait time to be seen by a psychiatrist as a new patient is six to eight weeks. Your facility has been not listening and stringing me along for a month while my loved one suffers tremendously. It's shameful. It's absolutely unacceptable that your employees were so ill informed and inept that they let us wait for a month for services you don't even offer. Shame on you. Maria should be fired or retrained so that someone doesn't literally die waiting for you to get your business practices and customer service issues together.

Instead of penalizing my tax service, the IRS penalized me, even though I filed and paid my taxes every year. Originally, I considered hiring a Tax Resolution Service to represent me. But, after reading reviews for those companies, it appeared to me that many of their clients were simply trying to reduce their tax debt. In my case, I had done everything right, and I did not want to be labeled or looked at as someone who was just wanting to have their taxes reduced. I wanted the fines eliminated!!! At first, I tried to explain my situation on my own to the IRS. They denied my request the first time to eliminate my fines, as they said that even though I used a tax service to prepare my taxes, the results were still my responsibility. Finally, I hired this law firm to represent me in an appeal. I have no idea how you explained the situation better than I did, but I just received letters from the Internal Revenue Service stating that my account for those years was settled and paid in full. Going to someone you've never met before and opening up your soul and deepest thoughts is something I never thought I could do! Greg knew this from the start but I knew that I needed to do it before he could help me. It took me a few sessions to get a whirlwind of thoughts out of my head, going in with a well thought out and methodical list in my head and as soon as I opened my mouth I was all over the place. But... I never felt uncomfortable/judged doing it and to my surprise Gregg could keep up. Near the end of the session he would repeat everything back to me (in summary) and we'd discuss next steps. Gregg has been extremely helpful to me in so many ways, family issues, work/life, relationships and baggage that haunted me. I am past ALL of that now and have even been making strides to regain a social life with a better perspective and self-confidence! I just can't say enough about him. He has truly helped me in ways I thought were a done deal. Just read what he wrote in his website. Last summer in late July early August, I decided to focus on myself, this would be a giant step for me, as a self-professed people pleaser, always seeking approval from others. The thought of looking into self-care was way outside of my comfort zone. Folks say that God will place people in your path, this statement, has a new meaning for me now as I am entering in my twelfth month in this "Season for Dwayne". One of those decisions was to engage with a Life Coach, M. Denise Vinson with "Life Changes by Denise". This has proven to be an amazing step for me, the growth I have been able to obtain in my personal and professional life is bearing fruit daily. There are several definitions of what a "Life Coach" is, for me in my "Season for Dwayne", "Life Coach" has meant having a person in my corner in every aspect of my life. Sharing, listening, instructing, guiding, hand holding, cheering, reaffirming, constructing, identifying goals, developing strategies, recognizing obstacles, creating safe space for self-confidence building, and decision-making skills. Not having been involved in any organized sports during my childhood, adolescents or even adulthood, the word coach was a scary thought, the choice to overcome that initial fear of the word has changed my life for the better, allowing me to find things in myself I had never been able to see for myself. Looking for approval in others was a way of life for me, over the past 5.5 decades of surviving life, I feel like for the first time I am truly living a life I can approve of for Dwayne. Self-Love is a huge undertaking, not to mention the fear built up over a lifetime of self-loathing. I can share that I know approach each day with a rewarding feeling of gratefulness, this has changed my view on so many aspects of the day to day that is LIFE. I am going to close this with "If you don't love yourself, how the heck can you love somebody else. Can we get an amen up in here!" As one of my all-time favorite celebrities says every day.
