This jewel, hidden in a small strip mall in Miami Gardens, is well worth a visit. Upon the recommendation of a colleague, I came through on a Saturday during lunch time. This happened to be an economic event, sponsored by a local group so the small shop was quite busy. In this I mean, standing room and a wait time. Was the food worth it? ABSOLUTELY. This spot has a variety of flavorful options, from salads, wraps, steamed bowls and even smoothies. You can choose your proteins (chicken, salmon, shrimp, tuna and even cheese). Meals are made to order. But, there is a refrigerator of grab and go tuna salads and drinks I ordered a salad of Spinach and Mozzarella cheese with all the toppings, but no meat. The toppings range from walnuts, cranberries, olives, pickles, tomatoes, eggs, onions, peppers, croutons and pickles. Whew! With all of that, who needed meat! In all honesty it was so fresh and filling, as much as I tried, I couldn't eat it all. I also purchased a small smoothie, from the 10+ varieties offered. My chosen drink was a mixture of strawberry and banana. My bill came to $13 (give or take). This price was absolutely reasonable and fair. To be honest, I would have been willing to pay even a few dollars more, as it was certainly worth it. While they do have dine - in, I chose to carry out. There's also a car wash and other stores in the strip mall, so it's a busy location with lots of activity. It's easy to miss and you can't really see the storefront from the street. They offer a variety of options but I usually order the wraps. You can add various ingredients at no extra charge. I always enjoy eating here. Pretty Healthy is always my option when in the Miami Hardens area. My favorite is the tuna wrap that includes unlimited toppings of your choice. I also add a smoothie and chips. The wait can be a bit long since orders are cooked to order, and pickup of orders ordered online can be a bit confusing considering some people are able to walk up to the right side of the counter while others have to stay in line and pickup at the register. When I was finally serviced she was friendly but wasn't apologetic about the wait. To eat my partner ordered the Salmon wrap (spinach, pepper jack cheese, croutons, red onions); I ordered the Shrimp wrap (pepper jack cheese, carrots, egg and croutons). It does come with a side of ranch. The salmon was overcooked and lacked flavor as for the shrimp really need more flavor. The price is a bit more than other locations I've been too but the food options are different. Most places place more detail and sell to there food but I can say the food is great. Location is not in their favor however I'm assuming word of mouth and their social media tools have helped them. I have experienced some inconsistencies with the smoothies. I've ordered the strawberry shortcake a handful of times and every time it's different. The wait time is also a bit long so please allow yourself some time. Trying to call in advance to place an order has been nearly impossible. PH would benefit from having an online/pickup order option. I would give them a hefty 5 stars if they would be consistent and if the service overall were managed to its full potential.
