I work…read morelong days, and while he's generally a couch potato, he loves to get outside and really likes (most) people so I like having someone come give him some company and let him out a few days a week. RDW has two different scheduling options - you can schedule on your own as needed or you can join the Pack which includes a walk every weekday (at a discount) as well as several other benefits. My work schedule is (unfortunately for me) variable, so a pack membership just didn't make sense, though it would almost certainly be worth it for someone who needs that consistency. The "a la carte" option is very simple - just request your walks for the following week by Wednesday. I try to request several weeks at a time, but on occasion my schedule comes out late or I forget, and RDW has always been very helpful. I work some evenings, holidays, and weekends and RDW can accommodate all of those which is rare. Customer service is AMAZING. I really appreciated the time B took on our first meeting to get to know my dog and to ask such great questions to figure out what my needs were. Likely due to my ever changing schedule, there are multiple dog walkers who come to my house. I've never had an issue with any of them. Any time a new staff member needs to be introduced to my dog, one of our existing walkers comes with to facilitate that process. Communication is easy; when I have had to get in touch with them I have always had a response within a few hours. You can send an email or chat directly with walkers in the app. My dog has some personality quirks (unsure what life was like for him before being with me) that we've had to work with - RDW has been very understanding about this and willing to work with us to make sure everyone, including my dog, stays safe. In general, RDW makes me feel like I have people in my corner who care about my dog as much as I do. Seeing the update from my dog walker that day and photos is always a bright spot during a hectic shift at work. I know my guy is having the best time with his friends at RDW, and I am so happy I found this business. I cannot recommend RDW enough. Worth every penny.

She asked me to text my email address so she could bill me prior to coming. 5 days went by and I did not receive a bill in my email so I texted her figuring she had a busy LD weekend pet sitting and it slipped her mind. No response. Texted her later that evening - no response. Called the next morning and left a voice mail - no response. At this point, I had 1 day left before I had to leave for a 4 day trip and had to scramble to find another dog sitter. I never received a text/email/nor did she come to the house (I have Ring). In fact dogs have froze to death due to their negligence.They also have lied to animal advocates regarding dogs being kept inside an abandoned "house" without heat, food and water- stating that they were taking a dog that was in a crate and had eaten his way through the side- and was stuck and bleeding, for help. Animal advocates watched them back a van in to "take the dog for medical help" while numerous Rochester PD stood guard on the property. However, it was later learned that they never removed the dog- it was all a staged game. Lollypop takes in thousands and thousands of dollars- pays their board of directors massive salaries and continues to abuse and mistreat animals. STOP SUPPORTING THIS TRAIN WRECK!! THEY ARE USING PUBLIC DONATIONS TO FUND THESE SALARIES-NOT PROTECT ANIMALS. After walking through the above mentioned house - through feces and urine and finding more than one dog in this type of situation, Reno DiDomenico, from Lollypop, stated that they don't take action because nothing is wrong. They were genuinely excited to adopt up to one year old and went to the shelter ready to give another animal a loving home. Instead, they were told by the woman running the location that they were "too old" to adopt a kitten and should only consider an older cat. My mother explained that several family members would gladly take care of the cat if anything ever happened to them. Despite that, the woman responded, "I've made a decision and the answer is no," and told them to leave. We understand shelters have adoption policies and want the best for their animals, but the lack of compassion, empathy, and respect shown to my grieving parents was heartbreaking and unacceptable. Nobody deserves to be treated that way, especially after coming in with love, good intentions, and a willingness to provide a safe home to an animal in need.
