We showed her where everything was and what we would need her to do. It went well. She is very responsive when you message her. Short Story Jen is…read moreawesome and super caring for all the dogs. I rarely trust anyone with my dog, but after a very short period I came to trust in Jen and my dog loved the experience. I highly recommend using this day care, ESPECIALLY if you do not want you dog locked in a kennel for hours a day. Long Story I own a 5 year old boxer mix named Oscar. Oscar has been my only family, traveling with me for the past 5 years and I care for him very much. As so, it is very hard for me to leave him in the hands of others and NEVER over night. I started using the day care because of my work schedule and also because of how happy he was when I would pick him up. He quickly learned the word "day care" and really looked forward to seeing Jen and the other dogs. I became so comfortable because of his obvious enjoyment that this was the first day care I ever allowed my dog to be stay over night! When I relocated for work I wish I could have brought Jen and the day care with me!

These folks truly love caring for your pets in your absence and do so with a firm commitment to your animal's physical and emotional well-being. The Proof -My dog is a rescue with abandonment, trust, and general neglect issues, so I was reluctant to board her for some time. When I've had to travel without her in the past, she has always displayed higher separation anxiety upon my return, even when leaving her at home in the care of my housemate. When I picked her up from Ranchanna, she was delighted and energetic to see me (as one would expect) yet after the initial rush of affection, she made sure to say goodbye to the owner and once home displayed none of the nervous, attention seeking behaviors which I had come to expect after travel. Summary- Ranchanna kennels is more than a kennel, it's a home away from home for your animal companion that you can trust. I'll never use another boarding service in Rochester again, and I highly recommend that you follow suit.
