I liked his style, and I noticed how he genuinely believes in his product and service. I thought he was a little condescending when I talked with him though. Danielle is the one who treated me, not Dr. Hauser. She is sweet and the staff members were all nice enough. It was a pleasant trip going to Fort Myers also. I just think getting multiple injections is riskier, more painful, more expensive than the alternatives I mentioned. I'm not a doctor or medical professional so do your own research, but IMHO I'd try the cheaper, less evasive alternatives above before trying Prolotherapy. Prolotherapy, PRP, and stem cell injections might help, but are painful, expensive, and I believe there is a risk of damaging your ligaments, creating ossification when doing them. Sorry Danielle and Dr. Hauser. I do wish you the best, but I'm more interested in saving patients money and risk, before fattening up your wallets. I kinda felt instead of telling me they were unsure how to help me they felt given the cost I'd incurred they had to tell me something? Unfortunately I feel that I was further harmed by the aggressive nature of the diagnostic testing here (in one procedure they injected me and hit an artery, then continued to test the joint) and left feeling I'd been harmed more than helped by them.

I hate seeing bad reviews because they forced you to see the nurse practitioner before Conrado because she is just as awesome and you will still get reviewed. She then proceeded to talk amongst herself about me! Then she stated I am giving her different information and said, "Well, WHATEVER!" I immediately let her know that was rude, and instead of apologizing, this woman tried to berate me and continued to raise her voice, overtalking me, so I ended the call! I am currently researching a new doctor. It's unfortunate that I loved Dr. Denk and his work! I will not come to any appointments here anymore. I feel it is now an uncomfortable and hostile situation!

The pump was removed and Dr. Mahaney has been a savior in helping me with a withdrawal from morphine plan as well as other solutions for my chronic pain. I've already had some very effective injections with plans to follow up with more of those rather than any opiate solution. His engagement has been invaluable!! There's no other place I'd rather be!! She has struggled with upper neck and head pain for over 30 years (c2,c3,c4). The challenge we presented for him was that she cannot take pain medication. He offered an alternative procedure to help with nerve pain. It's been a bit over a month now and she still feels great. I have my wife back to being her normal goofy fun loving self. The reason for the four stars is due to opportunity with the insurance team. We found ourselves having to do the admin work by navigating the insurance company and billing depts for them. On more than one occasion we had to check up on the prior authorization progress only to find the did not have it and we ended up coordinating it on our side with little to no help from them. Despite the need to do the admin work, in the end it was all worth it for the relief my wife received. We can't speak about the other doctors but Dr R has been an absolute life saver for my wife.

Dr Fernando is always prompt to see me from there. I very much enjoy the Dr's approach to my appointment from the first "how do you feel today? What brings you in?" to the thorough exam and medical recommendations. The Dr is mild-mannered and somewhat hard to read during the exam as I see him concentrating on processing his findings. He is always courteous and fills me in on what he would like for me to do to better help cope with my painful afflictions, be it physical activity, diet, or medication management.. Dr Fernando's staff is pleasant and caring. They always make me feel like an important part of their day. The only negative issue that I have with my experiences is that the exterior and interior of the facility is extremely dated and in dire need of updating to bring itself out of the 1980's. The interior especially could use a complete overhaul to bring it up to what a medical facility should look and feel like. It has always been the only medical office that I have ever been to in the Fort Myers area, and there have been many, many visits over the 40 years I have lived here, that doesn't feel like a medical facility. It feels much more like an old tattered aged building that could improve itself only by tearing it down and starting all over from the ground up. The good news is that the facility appears clean and void of any serious germs. As an added comment today, 9.1.16, Dr Fernando will be retiring from practice in late September 2016. Indeed, Dr. Briseno spends a lot of time with his patients, however, much of that time is spent on him typing and talking into his little recorder, or taking a call from "his neighbor", or discussing his military service. Had he given our concerns a minute of attention, he might have discovered that my husband was indeed very ill. The fact that many reviewers comment on Dr. B's military service and the amount of time he spends with patients explains why he didn't have time when it was my husband's turn to see him.

He personally calls you on the phone if labs or tests come back with something he needs to discuss immediately instead of having a nurse call you to setup up another appointment. He never rushes you even though he is extremely busy. Sometimes your wait time is a little longer but he is well worth the wait. I highly recommend Dr Charles Briseno.
