I was admitted because he thought I had…read moremeningitis which was only a migraine because I could easily move my head and neck, didn't have a fever, etc...but after 2 days on a floor with 4 other patients with C Diff., they managed to give it to me also. I spent 7 days there, sick as a dog and had to have bags of Vancomycin dumped into my body and after I was discharged I had to be on antibiotics for months afterwards and the balance of good flora and fauna in my gut has never been the same since. I've never had a good experience in that hospital, most people went there to die because the care was so bad. Nurses that couldn't even speak proper English and they were White, not foreigners, just illiterate. Incompetence to the nth degree. Never, ever will I ever even step into that building again when I would be sick or not. They should tear the place down it was just that bad.

I definitely recommend her if your expecting. She practices out of this hospital with Prevea. Buuut don't expect a 5 star meal for your a stay though, however it is decent quality. But OMG some of the front desk ppl need to knocked down a notch or 7 with their attitudes. My daughter needed an appointment but the person on the phone said the her ped wasn't taking anyone for the rest of the day and didn't know when she would be open again. She recommended we go to PH UC so we did. I did file a complaint already with financial services (so that is done) and the pediatrician called me back to find out what happened and has already put in notes about the experience so it hopefully doesn't happen again. The snobby lady at the front desk with short blonde/white hair (old woman on first floor) got up from her desk when I was trying to check my daughter (after she cut me off several times) in to UC. The other lady (younger, long hair and nice) was checking me in after the crabtree left the desk. Then the old bag brought back someone from administration that repeated herself like a broken record with every question I asked. She was completely coached and wasn't even answering my question. They must be worried I will sue them, I would sure like to. I did video all of it. It was so disgusting how my daughter was treated and spoken to by the appointment coordinator. Anyway, we ended up going out to the car and skipping UC. For kicks, I tried calling pediatrics again and got AN APPOINTMENT literally minutes later since I was in the parking lot. We walked right up there and got checked in no problem. That lady on the first floor made a mountain out of a mole hill. Just do your damn job; pandemic crap is hard enough as it is. Stop the power trip already lady. If I find out her name I will be posting it here later.

I first visited to discuss a surgical procedure for my facial nerve. Even with me traveling here from across the country, everything was a well orchestrated symphony. The electronic check in systems gave me exactly what I needed to know, and told me precisely where to go. When I arrived, they even told me where I needed to sit for when I'd be called back. The care team took their time with me and I had all my questions answered and we agreed on next steps. They even got me in, same day, to talk to a physical therapist, since I was from out of town.

So I left, he asked for a 30 yr old medical report of my L5 fusion, I said that Dr is retired and it was just him, I can't get that, besides this is about my Si joint. So he sent me a letter 30 days later, saying the board voted no on my case, what a waist of my time. So I called NY Spine Center, there a lot bigger on spine revision. Forget Mayo they blow!

I have been going to Mayo Clinic for most of my life, and as far as the general hospital goes, the…read morecare has been more than adequate. Since 2020 however, I have seen a rapid decline in care at the emergency department. Since starting college, I've had to make trips to the ER on roughly 5 situations, mostly heart related, and most recently for a concussion. The last 3 times I've gone in have had terribly similar end results; showing up with emergent symptoms, waiting upwards of half an hour to be triaged, and a minimum of 2 hours before seeing a doctor. Today, I was waiting for 3 hours to be seen, brought back and was set in the hallway, and sat there an hour before Dr. Aaron Triplett came to tell me that they would not be running any tests, didn't even check me out to see what had happened that caused the concussion. This is following a previous visit to urgent care in which I was initially diagnosed with the concussion, and was told if symptoms continued to get worse to go to the ER immediately for a CT and MRI. After a few days, symptoms continued getting worse, my vision fading from blurry to shaky, pain level increasing exponentially throughout each day, and having more symptoms pop up before going to the ER today. After 3 hours of waiting, I was more than just let down that the people who's job it is to take care in being thorough, will be willing to cut corners and outright deny looking into why my walking has now gotten to be borderline scary, feeling like I'm going to fall every step. But they'd rather have one less patient to deal with, so they sent me home with nothing more than a lighter wallet. Would not recommend the Emergency Department at Mayo Clinic Eau Claire

I was assured that this location would be able to assist me with my immune disorder that I have was an offsite be no different than going to Mayo in Minnesota. I then drove four hours there spent the night in the hotel wasted over $300 and eight hours and driving just to get there and be told immediately by the physician that they cannot assist me with my medical issue as it's too complicated, this is behind upsetting. As I communicated with the office prior to coming out about my situation and was assured that I could get help at this location.
