You have to park down and around the building from where you get off the road which was a little confusing for my first time going since they moved. I visited the office to schedule an appointment. I was given an application to fill out. I said I'm not applying for a job, I want to make an appointment. They said I needed to apply to become a new patient. I've never heard of anything like that nor has anyone else. I have excellent insurance and no serious medical issues. I completed their application and left. A few days later I received a call saying all of their doctors were NOT taking new patients. I told them I clearly stated my urgency when I stopped in and was told they were taking new patients. Now I find out that wasn't true and I wasted 4 days waiting. They CLEARLY don't care about people's well being. In visiting many other doctors in my area I found many are under the Family Care Medical Group. I visited 5 with similar bad results. I would not trust these insensitive, uncaring people with my healthcare.

They are coming insurance fraud and are scrambling. Check any bill you get from them I have been charged every time I have gone there and then called asking why if I paid my copay would I be charged again and 9 out of 10 times it is some lie. Brenda is his administrative assistant that I talked to a few times over the phone and she was great! Very nice and very informative. When I talked to their office today I spoke to someone else who told me several things as far as pricing and costs that we hadn't gone over, and when I asked her if I could speak to Brenda she told me I could call back tomorrow. I explained to her that I've talked to Brenda and I would prefer to talk to Brenda as she was familiar with everything that was going on, which at that point the doctor got on the phone and explained to me that I was right and the other assistant was wrong in the information she was giving me, as I was clarifying everything. I asked the doctor what material the orthotic was made of which then the doctor told me not to question what material it's made of. The doctor told me again that he's he's been practicing for over 20 years and brought my profession into the conversation to give an analogy which had zero relevance to anything. The doctor then followed that up by telling me he doesn't have time to answer questions, clearly over reacting, he then said he wouldn't see me as a patient and the money I paid for the orthotic would be sent by mail and hung up. Brenda called back and I explained to her my frustration with the doctor and she was professional and kind about everything. I've never met anyone as entitled, arrogant, cocky, and rude as this doctor was. I don't care that he's been practicing for over 20 years and that he's had over 17,000 patients. The fact that the doctor got so bent out of shape over me asking what material the orthotic was made of and he told me he wouldn't see me as a patient and my down payment towards those would be sent by mail and hung up, truly words don't express how unprofessional this is. I didn't hear back again so I called back only to find out they don't take patients that have been to another gastro provider. Would've been nice to know 5 months ago. Both times I called the lady who answered the phone was rude. I think she's worked there too long. Not recommended
