Service level has gone way down. They are super money hungry and not transparent about their billing. Francis is rude, she is sick of everything 'wining' about the pain when she does filler. She actually said that to me as the patient. The one blonde haired male doctor tells people they need plastic surgery (nose job) and tries to get you to spend thousands to change your whole face even if you're just there for botox. I have no direct knowledge of the capabilities of this clinic but I am certainly 'put off' by the lack of available information on the nutrition program. Every nutrition plan whether it be through a registered dietician, registered nutritionist, Jenny Craig, Herbal Life, etc will perform a nutrition consultation at which time you would receive information and even samples of your expected products (menu structure etc). The fact that this clinic does offer an in person consultation, coupled with the abrasive and dismissive nature of Tara the Medical office assistant when I attempted to prompt for more information certainly turned me off of this clinic. Maybe nutrition simply isnt a focus, or maybe it's customer service that isn't a focus; which ever it is, they certainly will not be seeing a dime of my money. read more

This was my first of hopefully many more visits to this place. I got my eye bags filled here with Derma Fillers and am quite happy with the results. The building/office is very very nice and clean, the staff super friendly, and the list of services endless. I was going to Preventous for a cheek scar/mole and took a hiatus for several years because of school commitments. Upon my return appointment, which was a few days ago, a woman began using a laser with a bright flash dangerously close to my eye for some reason, as well as near my nose and basically everywhere except area which I was coming in for (scar/mole). I couldn't move to tell her and it was painful and scary. The eye goggles I was wearing were just loosely sitting on my face and every time she zapped me near my eye with the laser I jolted, causing the goggles to move slightly. I was squeezing my eyes shut as tight as I could. Once she was done I asked her why she was doing the treatment so close to my eye and she explained that was what I wanted!!! Did she even read my file? My eye has been hurting for days after. When I was leaving I apologized for smelling skunky, as a medical cannabis patient who was involved in a serious incident where I was struck by a machine, so I need to medicate just to get through the day. I'm not sure I can go back unless they give me a free treatment. read more

I did not have a good experience. First on my first visit to their clinic, I have been convinced to buy 700 worth of Products. After, I followed their recommendation and went back for a peal and 'again' asked to buy same prouduct for a much cheaper price in including my peal around she offered it 500$ by 'another nurse?! I was very disappointed. It is not the 200 hundred $, but How do I trust them? I have been referred to this clinic by my previous Dr from another town. He highly spoke about them.., I thought maybe, I should try the other location on 17th st. When I phoned them today to book appointment , I told them to book me on the other location. They asked me why, I said I am not happy with the service in 'this location' they told me "We are the same the doctors and nurses are same in both locations." I don't know what to say, this made me think, I may have to find another place in Calgary. read more

Went for Botox doctor was arrogant. Did a decent job on Botox but arrogance turned me off. Won't go back. With so many places offering services its important to mind your manners. read more

I joined Preventous a few months ago and I am so thankful we have a private clinic of this calibre in Calgary. The service and quality of healthcare is outstanding. We had to wait for days and sometimes weeks to get into our doctor in the past and this is no longer the case. Within a few hours, we are able to see one of the doctors at Preventous. My son is also getting the proper diagnosis that we needed with his Asthma issues by being referred immediately to a Pediatrician and for his growth issues through the Youth Physiotherapist the doctor recommended from Preventous. read more

Had an awful experience at this clinic. Went for botox and lip injection the lip in jection was done incorrectly and left a huge amount of bruising and swelling. Their afer hours number is a defunct number. Went back to see them after the long weekend and they were extremely rude and told me to cover up with make-up. I feel such an idiot for having anything done and will never go back!!! read more

I can't say enough to express how deeply impressed by Dr. Rohan Bissoondath and his kind and committed team. I encountered Preventous while looking for a new Cosmetic Medicine clinic. I live in Canmore and had been driving to Edmonton to get treated at a clinic recommended to me by my mother. I scheduled a free consult which included a sit down talk with a very knowledgeable and sweet Aimee (Cosmetic Coordinator) where we discussed my cosmetic goals and concerns, past treatments, and current skincare routine. My issue happened to be my lack of enthusiasm of having a very round face (I'm in my mid-twenties). After having a my pictures taken and shown some really interesting 3-D imaging of my face, I was taken for further examination by Dr. Rohan. He is extremely friendly and personable. As we are our own worst critics, he first focussed on all the great existing features of my face and then really got to know and understand my insecurity. Where I thought I needed chin augmentation, it was revealed my face did not appear symmetric from one of my cheeks bones appearing slightly lower than the other which could easily be corrected with filler. Dr. Rohan wants to ensure you get the right treatment and persuade you out of any procedures you don't need. At this point I knew I was in the right hands and scheduled my appointment. Appointment day came and I was a little worried but excited. I was assured the changes would be subtle which is absolutely key when getting and kind of fillers. Dr. Rohan and his nurse spent lots of time discussing a plan of attack and were incredibly through when looking at my face from all angles. I was shown my reflection in the mirror after the treatment (which was relatively painless) and was shocked. I looked so rejuvenated and refreshed. My cheeks were high and the perceived roundness of my face was gone. I was and still am thrilled with the results. Thank you Preventous! I definitely will be a return customer! read more

Dr. Woodard is honestly one of the best. I was really nervous to get filler in my lips without having "duck face" but he gradually injected the filler and I could go to work the next day with minimal swelling. I did have to do the filler in two visits but it was worth it. read more
