Please do NOT go to the cashier line with a plump girl with long dirty brown hair, I'm a regular and I have FIRMLY decided to switch grocery stores based off the experience this girl provides, I have seen her take and open a water and not pay for it as i was coming up to cash out with a different cashier, as the girl looked me up and down. the time prior to this she had asked me very rudely if "I was even buying anything" and threw my item after telling me the machine was waiting on me without being told the price of my purchase! incredibly disappointing to see this is encouraged by whoevers in charge on the floor and the types of children they are hiring these days :( read more

they are putting old old potatoes in the bags they put out!!! 3 times it has happened to me - i called the manager on 3rd time, the manager will, was nice, told me to see when i came in today- he is not here spoke to, a " ladys lady.... complete bitch, standing there telling me sprouts and brown spots are par for the coarse when buying potatoes, bullshit!!!!! nasty response from co- manager, acting like i was in the wrong. acting like shes doi g me a favor by returning them. i didn't bother. i will no longwr come here!!!! prices are ridiculous, also, no reduced items when the bus comes in from senior housing on wednesday s. read more

We were turned away this evening at about 9:40 by someone standing at the door. I asked if they closed at 11:00, and the person at the door said they did not sell enough and are closing early. The same person let a group of four people in after they turned us away. read more

This is a sad Price Chopper! It's one of the few remaining in this chain that time forgot and I felt like I was stepping back in time to 1992 for this shopping excursion. The only one worse than this is located in Lake George Village in NY. While visiting Burlington, we came in here to grab a snack and some bottled water. Inventory is much more limited here compared to a lot of the mega Price Chopper grocery stores. We checked out fairly quickly, but the cashier seemed distracted and was mumbling under his breath. The store in in desperate need of a refresh! If you are looking for something better, there is a huge Hannaford located not too far from here. read more

Hard to describe this place kindly. There is no self check out, and usually only one register open with someone so slow I honestly always question why I go here time and again. A sales associate/manager recently was literally wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt; comfy yes but for a grocery store? Strange. I think it'd be WAY better if there were at least two self check outs for people running in for a few forgotten items or small trips, and there's honestly plenty of room because only one to two of their registers are ever even open. read more

I'm sorry...but this store isn't even worth one star. Absolutely NO help what so ever. I shop for my father who lives just down the road from there. From now on...I will collect his list and head to Hannaford. Where you are actually acknowledged and people who work there are actually helpful. Love having a 24-hour grocery store so close. I just wish the produce was a bit better - depending on the day, it ranges from moderately ok to quite pitiful. Haven't tried the deli yet. We bought live lobsters here and they were excellent, and some of the baked goods are actually really good. There are frequent sales on staples like bread, pasta, cheese, tomato sauce, beans (etc.), and they are well worth the trip. The buy-1-get-2-free on fresh Italian bread is always my excuse to make a big batch of homemade croutons. Employees are friendly and the store is generally nice and clean. Could be worse, could be better. It's very convenient and that makes it A-OK in my book. A solid 3 stars. read more

Small grocery store but it has everything you need! Great produce and deli section! Customer service is really helpful as well! Scan your price chopper card at the little kiosk as you walk in to get free coupons! There is no self checkout at this location. There is usually one express lane and a regular register open. I agree with the previous Yelp review in July 2018. This is a tired looking and smelly Price Chopper. I normally frequent the Hannaford's on North Avenue which is super clean, fresh produce, great deli with sale items, and their entrance is inviting but once in a while, I will attempt to shop at PC. Every time I stop there, I always see store employees out front smoking cigarettes and cigarette butts and trash are on the ground in the front entrance. Their produce is wilty, not a great assortment, and several times, I have seen their salads still in case past the due date, etc. Not to mention their deli which is horrible! Unfriendly staff, gross old meat, not much of a selection, etc. The cashiers look bored and wishing they were working somewhere else. I find their prices high too...I guess I'll stick with Hannaford's.... read more

This store is a poor excuse for a grocery store. The produce is always spoiled and gross. Several occasions I've bought spoiled produce meat and moldy products. The store itself is super unclean and looks like something out of the 90s. This store makes the Chain of Price Choppers look horrible. The one on Shelburne road is beautiful. I live very close and this is why i normally shop here, but I'll be taking my business to the Hannafords on North Avenue. Which is much cleaner and I've never had issues with any spoiled/moldy products. read more

This is the closest grocery store to my house and that is the only reason that I go there. I feel like it's really meant to be a grocery store for the summer people who come to Mallets Bay. Their weak selection of ice cream makes me angry. The produce is OK but just avoid the deli and meat sections, unless you want to cook old brown meat for dinner and eat questionable slimy sliced turkey. Barely anything organic and they don't even have Bove's sauce..how is that possible? Their one saving grace is that they're open 24 hours a day, so if you are in a bind and need slimy turkey at midnight, you are in luck my friend! read more
