They have a food counter that advertised sandwiches, pizza and ice cream, however even at noon the day we were there, there was not one working in that area. They have some really cool little displays, a cool old since set up with the soap area, there is a few boats set up inside and an old truck, the bathroom area looks like a cabin. The far section of the store is a boutique with all sores of female clothing, and boots. There is everything from cheese, canned goods, beer cave and a wine tasting area to try the local bourbon and wine, but again it appeared that was not opened. At any rate, I pulled over, dodged some rain, and came inside. Now, anyone who remembers Berbiglias in KC might remember them as I do - kind of basic, a bit dirty, and the kind of place that you just kind of tolerated. I mean, I was in my twenties so I didn't know liquor stores could be nice and have variety, but now I do, and boy was I glad when I walked in the doors and found out that this newly redone Plaza Liquor is NICE. Not only is the interior nice, the folks working are super friendly, and they have an incredible selection. I found some craft beers from STL that my husband hadn't been able to find in a long time at liquor stores closer to our house, and they of course carried a good variety of wine and liquor as well. Overall this one is a great little neighborhood liquor store, and is definitely one I'll return to if I'm once again needing to pick up a bottle of wine on the way home.

These people create wine from scratch they lovingly processed wine and bottled their own wine. This is not a rebottled facility. This facility is amazing from the ground up and the wine had that old-school flavor like I was craving. When the ownership asked what they could do to make themselves different and I said absolutely nothing. The winner is exactly what it should be perfect in every way.
