We moved to the main building patio to eat. Our server did not enjoy her job. When we asked for napkins after our food arrived, she loudly said "you guys are being high maintenance". Just unnecessary, and she had attitude quite a few times. Our tickets had an auto gratuity added of 20%, she tried to hide this by giving us tickets that were not itemized, until someone asked for it to be itemized and some of us had already added an additional tip. Frankly, I was appalled at the event I attended for my daughters sorority. Everyone bought a $25 bottle of sweet or semi-sweet wine (that's this wineries specialty), dropped in a straw, and suckled their sippy cups. Their sweet wines are like wine coolers - and what college student doesn't like those? That should give context to the quality of wine and positioning of this space). Their traditional varietals all have sweet or fruit forward notes - Cabs are more like Pinots but lacking the depth and notes of a true spicy, bold cab. Past this, parking is like a festival, down a dirt road about a quarter mile walk from the front door. While I wouldn't return, it's a great place for an event and provides something unique to the area. And obviously the Greek system utilizes as a more sophisticated approach to the bars in Columbia.
