I am new to the area. I purchased crab and shrimp and requested them to be steamed but was told the steamer was broke. This was a disappointment since I purchase crab and shrimp every week. I can cook it but it helps tremendously to have it steamed for me. They wrapped the seafood, but not very well, and it came open at the counter.

One of our favorite restaurants! Buffet is always good. The enchiladas are always good are well as the meatloaf.

Also wanted to update that 31 spots are for the pick up orders. I would pick up but there's never a time slot the same day. Plus half the pick up spots are empty while cars are driving in circles just trying to find any spot. Usually have to park way in the back of the lot-and being heavily pregnant makes it more of a pain to get inside. Aldi and Price Cutter are a lot easier to get into, and if you have access, the military base commissary.

I get they need to be careful but when I come in with a product and a receipt and the product is obviously broken, and I bought the items that day I should not be treated with distain. If it had only happened once I would be sure it was just an employee having a bad day, but in the last 14 years that I've lived here the handful of times I've needed to make a return. I've been treated bad each and every time. Once had a cashier ring up a gift card. She told me the gift card didn't work and she kept that gift card and grabbed a 2nd gift card. Come to find out I get home and I had paid for two gift cards one for the dishonest cashier and another for the grieving widow in which I was purchasing the gift card for to begin with. When I called the store and informed them of the dishonest action, they told me they could not help me in the matter. I do not understand how with as many cameras as they have in that store they could not check. There have been several other costly incidents, so much so that we rarely buy our groceries at Walmart anymore and now we use another store.

Having just moved to Rolla, I was out searching for a few specific items and was quite pleased to…read morelearn that this store carried them. It is pricier than what I've paid for in stores in the past, but when you're in semi-rural Missouri, the bit of extra money is still worth it when it saves you from a trip to St Louis or pricy online options. I didn't have lots of time to browse, but they seemed to have a good selection of products, and I'll definitely stop in again.

If you want to buy nutritional supplements, support a local grocery store, or eat more organic…read morefoods, Foods for Health is the place to go in Rolla. Tucked away in an inconspicuous strip center, Foods for Health has had surprisingly good business for many years considering it's Rolla and Wal-Mart is only half a mile down the road. That said, the products at Foods for Health might be twice the cost of what you'd pay at Wal-Mart but you'll be supporting a local business and buying products made by smaller and probably more socially responsible companies. Half of the store is groceries and nutritional supplements where you can find bulk-packaged dried beans, canned goods, cereals, nuts, dried fruit, flours, frozen foods, local eggs and cheese, vegan cheese and ice cream, and every possible health supplement you could want. The other half consists of books on health and diet issues, cosmetics, and toiletries. Foods for Health also provides massage services which I think you need to do by appointment. And if you're turned off by the higher prices, go there after Christmas when they have a 10% sale. They also accept SNAP benefits (food stamps).
